Extremely disappointed with the service department regarding my 2024 Ford Bronco warranty claim…read more My Bronco's motor failed, so we brought it to the dealership expecting support and communication under Ford's warranty process. The service representative, Mauricio, informed us repairs would take about a month and promised us an update by mid next week (around 05/13). That date came and went with absolutely no communication. By 05/18, after multiple unanswered voicemails and no callbacks, I finally asked to speak to a supervisor. Suddenly, Mauricio was available to take my call. When I asked for an update, I was told the exact same thing we had been told two weeks earlier: "Ford hasn't approved it yet." I then asked for Ford's direct number so I could understand why my repairs were delayed. Mauricio provided me with a customer relations number and a repair reference number that he apparently knew would not work. After realizing I had been given incorrect information, I went into the dealership frustrated, understandably so after weeks of poor communication and feeling ignored. Instead of helping resolve the situation, Mauricio's attitude was essentially "back off and leave." I later contacted Ford Customer Relations myself and learned the truth: Ford Warranty was actually waiting on the DEALERSHIP to send photos of the motor. In other words, the delay was not Ford -- it was the dealership failing to do their part while I was repeatedly being told otherwise. Customers should not have to chase down answers, be ignored, or feel lied to. Communication, honesty, and accountability go a long way, and unfortunately I experienced none of that here. Very disappointed with how this situation was handled.

They are professional, nice, smart, helpful, honest, and I didn't feel any pressure to make any decisions before I was ready. I not only got the exact car I wanted for a very fair price, but they offered to try to help sell my old car at no risk/cost to me. Given it's condition, my plan was to just donate it as a tax write off. It was a very generous offer on their part, and they sold it within two weeks. So basically I drove in with one car, drove out with another and they took care of everything else - title, registration, selling my car, sending me a check, and have been entirely nice and patient throughout the whole process. ...and I love my new car.

After our mechanic gave us the green light, we purchased the car from Gordon and Gordon Auto Sales. Unfortunately, we didn't get any warranty, and we declined the 2-day "cool off" insurance that would have allowed us to return the car for any reason. We bought the car "as is." That very day, our clutch gave out. Technically, this was our mistake. Our mechanic checked the car and didn't notice the issue, and we thought the clutch seemed fine on our test drive. I immediately called the dealership and told them what happened. They said they were not liable as we decline all warranty's and the Insurance that they had offered us. I told them we were reasonable and wanted to keep the car, but we asked if they'd cover half the repair. They quickly agreed. I used AAA to tow the car back to the lot, and within 24 hours, the dealership called to let me know the clutch was replaced and I could pick it up. Instead of spending $1600, it only cost $770. Now, I have a cool little Hyundai, with only 78,000 miles on it, and a new clutch. Even though the clutch failure was disappointing, the treatment we received was amazing, and we couldn't be happier with the dealership.
