Extremely disappointed with the service department regarding my 2024 Ford Bronco warranty claim. My Bronco's motor failed, so we brought it to the dealership expecting support and communication under Ford's warranty process. The service representative, Mauricio, informed us repairs would take about a month and promised us an update by mid next week (around 05/13). That date came and went with absolutely no communication. By 05/18, after multiple unanswered voicemails and no callbacks, I finally asked to speak to a supervisor. Suddenly, Mauricio was available to take my call. When I asked for an update, I was told the exact same thing we had been told two weeks earlier: "Ford hasn't approved it yet." I then asked for Ford's direct number so I could understand why my repairs were delayed. Mauricio provided me with a customer relations number and a repair reference number that he apparently knew would not work. After realizing I had been given incorrect information, I went into the dealership frustrated, understandably so after weeks of poor communication and feeling ignored. Instead of helping resolve the situation, Mauricio's attitude was essentially "back off and leave." I later contacted Ford Customer Relations myself and learned the truth: Ford Warranty was actually waiting on the DEALERSHIP to send photos of the motor. In other words, the delay was not Ford -- it was the dealership failing to do their part while I was repeatedly being told otherwise. Customers should not have to chase down answers, be ignored, or feel lied to. Communication, honesty, and accountability go a long way, and unfortunately I experienced none of that here. I had a pretty frustrating experience at Bill Brandt Ford working with Kole Monello. To start on a positive note, they did give me a fair trade-in value and we agreed on pricing before I drove out, which I appreciated. However, once I got there in person, things changed. They added a "non-removable" theft etch fee that wasn't clearly part of the original deal. Then I was asked if I'd be comfortable with a $400/month payment on a $10k loan which is honestly unreasonable. They also tried to load the deal with extras like LoJack, warranties, and other add-ons I didn't ask for. When I asked them to use my credit union approval, the interest rate was increased higher than it should have been. At delivery, I declined a car wash and simply asked for a tank of gas, and was told no because I already "got a discount," which felt petty. Now that I'm home, I've noticed the windshield is chipped something that should have been addressed before delivery. Overall, I'd rather take a loss than go back there. It felt like the focus was more on squeezing extra money out of the deal than actually taking care of the customer. Customer experience clearly isn't a priority here, and that matters. read more

This dealership put our family through weeks of stress and fear, and I'm sharing this so no one else goes through it. We bought a 2019 Durango here after being assured by the sales team that it had a clean history and no issues. Less than two weeks later the Check Engine Light came on and the car started misfiring and shaking. A Dodge technician told us the engine issue could cost over $6,000 just to diagnose and said the previous repairs on the Carfax suggested the dealer already knew something was wrong. Trying to get help from them was awful. Calls went unanswered, and the service manager, Daniel Brandt, admitted they didn't actually repair anything -- they just cleared the codes and drove the car around hoping the problem wouldn't come back. When they returned the car to us, the misfire came right back the next morning, and we have video showing the shaking and warning lights. We had to send a Formal Notice of Unsafe Vehicle and tell them we were prepared to take legal action before they finally agreed to unwind the sale. While we were there, another customer came in saying their recently purchased vehicle's entire electrical system shut down while driving on the freeway. That told us everything we needed to know. Please be careful buying a used car here. In our experience, the vehicles are not properly inspected, the issues are not disclosed, and problems are not taken seriously until the situation escalates. read more

I bought a used car from here a few years ago and their warranty. They claimed there was nothing wrong with the car when I bought it. I instantly had problems with the electrical, the starter, they gave me a shitty key fob, and the entertainment system had a code which was not provided to me ( and it wasn't the original entertainment system) I was a first time car buyer and female. I just got my car serviced. Was having a starter issue, and asked them to fix it. My battery was not turning off and the engine wouldn't start, so I disconnected the battery to safe the life of it. They gave me an estimate that I was made to believe was for fixing the starter if my warranty didn't cover it. Their quote page was confusing and didn't have details of what all the charges were for. I gave them my new cell phone number to call and update me, they only called my old phone and never updated me. I called them throughout the week to see if I could get updates, no calls back even after leaving a message, when they'd transfer me over to the service advisor no one answered, they said it was closed on weekends. I finally get ahold of them and the car is ready, HAS BEEN ready for that whole time. They charged me 200 for a "diagnosis", and didn't replace the starter that would've been covered by my warranty. They said the problem was the battery was unplugged and that's why it wouldn't start. Which I DID ON PURPOSE when the engine wouldn't start to save my battery life (the accessories wouldn't turn off). Don't go to this dealer especially if you're a woman. They just want your money and won't take care of you and your car honestly. read more

I was in the market to sell my 2022 Chevrolet Equinox with 4969 miles on it to purchase an electric car. I received a quote on KBB and several dealerships reached out to purchase it. Bill Brandt Ford uses the site and has a banner on their website that says "INSTANT CASH OFFER". Since Bill Brandt Ford was the closest dealership to my home, I called Steven when I received the proposal and was told to bring it down because the "person who writes the checks is here". I brought it to them and they gave me the exact offer from KBB. I accepted it and was told by Steven it would now be 1-2 weeks to receive my check as they wanted the title from GM Financial. Even though the "cash on the spot" offer changed, I figured waiting 1-2 weeks wouldn't hurt. They took possession of the vehicle on 12/27/2023 and the vehicle was paid off and taken out of my name the following week (GM notified me). I still do not have a check for the balance owed to me even though the vehicle is for sale on their lot and has been released from my name. I called the finance department today (1/9/24) and spoke to Leon. He stated I should have been told it takes 4-6 weeks for reimbursement. (Once again, his employee who took possession of the car said I would be cut a check the same day then when they took the car it changed to 1-2 weeks). When I brought to his attention Steven said 1-2 weeks, he said he would have to talk to him. Unfortunately, that won't put the $7000+ check in my hand as promised. I also stated cargurus pays on the spot when they pick up the car. His response was "everyone does things different." I would advise anyone who wants to sell their vehicle to Bill Brandt Ford for cash not to do it. On their website, it specifically states "INSTANT CASH OFFER" and shows KBB. That's what I used. That is false advertisement and if you don't buy a car from them, you will have to beg for your money and be told lies while they have it on the lot for sale. Take it to cargurus, another dealership, or carmax. At this point, I am looking into other alternatives to get my check for the balance owed. DON'T TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP! Mike and Luis from the Sales team were outstanding. They were not only knowledgeable about the vehicle but also incredibly friendly, accommodating, and respectful throughout the entire process. Went to BIll Brandt Ford because my 2018 Ford Mustang with 35,000 miles on it wouldn't start. The technician at Bill Brandt Ford said they found metal shavings in the oil and it required a full engine replacement along with the turbo. The cost of the replacement and labor would be $11,537.77. I called another Ford dealership and provided them the diagnosis. They did the repair for $8,069,89. In addition they said there was no metal shavings anywhere in the engine. I called Bill Brandy Ford back to ask for clarification on the technicians diagnostics, they deny even saying that even though I have a voicemail from them stating the the timing chain broke sending metal throughout the engine.
