While I was dreading the idea of having to visit used car lots, and negotiate, and everything else that buying a used car might entail, my experience at Jimmy's was entirely pleasant. They are professional, nice, smart, helpful, honest, and I didn't feel any pressure to make any decisions before I was ready. I not only got the exact car I wanted for a very fair price, but they offered to try to help sell my old car at no risk/cost to me. Given it's condition, my plan was to just donate it as a tax write off. It was a very generous offer on their part, and they sold it within two weeks. Great dealer! We were very apprehensive, but a local mechanic referred us to him. ( We had never done business with an independent dealer). I bought a 2006 Mazda 3 which had problem after problem. The car supposedly passed a safety inspection but shortly after driving the vehicle I could tell the suspension was shot. Suspension was not the only issue... the car burned oil and the brakes were not in the best shape (which I admit I was aware of). My experience here was that I will never buy a vehicle from a small lot such as this... or I suggest you take it to your own mechanic for inspection. read more

I did not purchase a vehicle, but used them for DMV services. They did an out-of-state title transfer for me and did a great job. I got the California title about 2 weeks later, so they must have submitted everything in a very timely manner. There is a fee, but they were friendly and helpful and it's way better than trying to deal with the actual DMV. read more

My husband and I both purchased vehicles from Jimmy several months ago. We had been to other dealerships and lots and had very poor experiences. With me not having the best of credit and my husband being considered a ghost, Jimmy assured us that he would be able to take care of us from the moment we met him. He did not come off as a pushy salesman, he wanted us to feel confident and comfortable with our purchase and made sure to remind us that he didn't want us to make a decision we didn't feel right with. It was such a relaxed atmosphere and he was very courteous and professional with us both. I purchased a Toyota Highlander and my husband purchased a 1999 Tahoe. The down payment was affordable and he even allowed us to make a payment arrangement with him for part of the down payment. Although our interest rate wasn't attractive, it was due to our poor credit but after 6 months, and making payments on time, we will be able to refinance at a better rate. My husband did discover a few days after his purchase that there was a sound coming from his front end. When he inspected further he discovered the bushings were going out. He contacted Jimmy and Jimmy said "no problem buddy" and made an arrangement with my husband that Jimmy would purchase the bushings for my husband and my husband would take care of the labor and my husband felt this was fair since the vehicle was purchased "as is" and with no warranty.
