They maybe good to their customer but not the employees my husband worked there for awhile. From morning till night everyday. One day the owner angel sent him home half day then the next day said there was no work but little did we know he was laid off so they say but didn't bother to let him no til like a week n half later. He still owes my husband a full check doesn't want to answer his calls or text. So we reported him to the labor law. May take awhile but said he will get paid.. and he worked there so he knows all the things they would do just to seek a car or parts half the time the cars wouldn't even work but they rigged them to work. DO not buy a car from Pena's. Google them, BBB them, you will see they have lots of unhappy customers. They sell broken down cars and then refuse to repair them even under warranty. Do not trust their mechanic, I had to take it to another mechanic who said the car was rigged. CA Lemon Law will protect you but it may take a while. So don't even get tangled up with them You will regret it. read more

I just bought a car from them and he charged me 5000.00 a car that is barely worth 900.00 i have had it 30 days and it has been in the shop since then, if he doesn't fix the problem I will be taking it to court because in the past 30 days I have had to buy a new car and put out 950.00 in repairs on this car that they promised me that it was a great running car. i have called and left several messages and no calls back then the 30 day warranty they gave me told me that I would have to pay 200.00 up front before they would even look at the car after Pena's charged 200.00 for the service warranty. read more

The reviews don't lie on many reasons for this so called business. I took down my previous review in hopes that things would've worked out and that they would have kept their word. I signed a contract and drove off with a car on June 21, 2012 and as of March 2013 the car was never registered nor did Pena's ever have possession of the title. I have contact many different people and luckily I've had some help with the finance company Westlake who will be crediting me my monthly payments and part of the insurance back and taking it off my credit report since Pena's sold me a fraudulent vehicle. I'm taking Pena's to small claims (which we informed them before hand but did not receive a response) to recover the deposit that is rightfully mine of $4000 and then of course money from the diagnostic that proves it was a lemon and the remaining half of the full coverage insurance I had to pay on a car I couldn't legally drive. At the end of all of it, I hope that whoever is reading this from Pena's realizes that what goes around, comes around. And I will be holding not only the dealer but the owner Julianne Tellez and Rigo responsible for their actions or lack there of. The district attorney's office is aware of this and also the DMV already has 8 other cases against this dealer. I see quite a few cars with the "Penas Motors" yellow license plate fillers. As the months and years go by, I tend to see them over and over again. Still with the same yellow fillers instead of license plates. I do not see the DMV back window stickers (the ones that indicate they are waiting for plates) when I observe these vehicles. I can only wonder if these cars are being registered with the DMV -or- the people driving them had their DMV money misappropriated. Word of warning to car buyers! read more

Pena Motors is the worst car place in the world. I bought a car from them and about 20 minutes after buying the car I was driving on the freeway and the breaks went out on the car. Not only that but the stirring wheel was jacked up and it went out on me, and then the emergency break stopped working. I almost caused a huge accident on the freeway that night it scared the living day lights out of me. They never told me anything was wrong with the car and that could have caused my life. Not only that but when I told them what was wrong with the vehicle and that I wanted my money back they told me this "Sorry but there is no cooling off PERIOD" Therefore by law just because there s something wrong with the car you can't get your money back. I thought that was the craziest thing in the world. How could this be legal? How could the law allow something like this. This is the craziest part EVERYONE I have met that has gotten a car from pena motors has given bad reviews. I wish someone would have warned me before hand. read more
