I purchased my Bronco sport here in March. When i filled out the financial paperwork it had an open recall. Why wouldn't they fix the recall before selling it. I had to go to a dealership to get it fixed. Then less than a week after having it i get a notification for "Rear belt fault". I have called them more than 10 times to set up an appointment. No one answers. I called other departments and they promised to get me to someone and no one answers. One person picked up the phone because the music stopped, i said hello and then they hung up. I cant even begin to explain how crappy this place is. It used to be great. My husband and I have bought at least five cars here. I recently wrote a bad review but I was bullied by this place to take it down. Well too bad. My husband waited for four hours in service for our first oil change in our new escape. Apparently the battery was "low" but they lied through their teeth. The battery wasn't even touched. Zero Stars for the Service Advisor! I want to start by saying that the Service Advisor has a terrible attitude. He treated me as if I didn't know what I was talking about. I thought I could request any service I wanted with my money, but that wasn't the case. From the moment I made the call, he just talked over me and didn't listen at all. It's been almost a month since I first contacted the service department, and the parts I needed were never delivered. My insurance only covered a rental car for a few days, so I had to ask my friends for help with transportation. I'm extremely frustrated at this point, so I cancelled the service. I came in there and purchased a Ford bronco from my daughter along with her fiancé who insisted on being on the loan because they were getting married five days later he decided the bronco used too much gas, and he returned it and stole the car from me and would not give it back All star Ford took the bronco back put $27,000 to the back end of the loan and he traded in in for a mock. He took me out of the hospital on Dilaudid and had me sign paperwork that I assumed I was signing for the bronco then he turned the car back into the dealership because he couldn't afford it and destroyed my credit Wayne Williams was the finance guy who knew I just got out of the hospital and I was under the influence of narcotics and still insisted I sign which is illegal when I went back there with a police standby. They told me to get off their property otherwise they would have me arrested for trespassing and they blocked my phone number. Do not do business with this company or any All-Star dealership. They are a bunch of rip off artist I would not buy anything from an All-Star dealership ever I had a Hyundai Tucson with 68,000 miles on it and the engine blew up even though I was getting oil changes and services on it. It took them two months to get an engine when they did an investigation on the car, they found out they used a used engine that had problems and if I didn't turn it back in under the Lemon law, I would've probably died in a flaming car wreck. Took my new mustang to be checked. The car indicated the battery was low. I made an appointment. I arrived at 7:00 am and left the car. At around 2:30 pm I texted, called and left a V/M. No one returned my call or provided me with any updates. At 4:00 pm I called back the service advisor, Frank Williams, and he did not take my call. 30 minutes later I showed up at the dealer to find out the status of my car. Keep in mind that my car indicated that it was parked at 7:00 am in their back lot and never moved. The service advisor said we are still working on it. I said the car has not been moved since 7:00 am. The service advisor responded, "We are waiting for a certified technician." The whole experience felt unprofessional, dishonest and unapologetic. He took my keys, I made myself some free Starbucks coffee from their dispensary machine and then he told me it wld be a few hours and provided me w a shuttle service to Antioch. Claude Jones Hey y'all! If you buy a Mach E from these guys, and they try to sell you the Star Guard GPS theft system - beware! My Mach E has bricked once, they replaced the 12v battery, then about a month later all kinds of codes showed up on the screen advising to get service immediately. All Star kept the car several days, and when it was returned the Service department said the problem was the Star Guard system. They fixed it by disconnecting the Star Guard. I asked for my money back for Star Guard and Sales Management said no, I needed to talk to Star Guard to get a resolution. I have contacted Star Guard three times with no solution. All Star says I need to resolve with Star Guard. Seems to me if they sold it they should fix it if it won't work with the car! read more

I recently purchased a used 2017 GMC Canyon from All Star Ford. I was never advised during the sale process that I would not receive both normally supplied sets of keys and fobs and that it was also not noted anywhere in the documentation that I would not receive the normally supplied two keys and two fobs. I asked All Star Ford to supply the second key and fob. I asked the salesman and sales manager several times they stated that the Owner of the dealership Tom Nokes does not allow any of his dealerships to supply a second set of keys/fob. For a business that brings in over $300k a year how cheap and greedy can a millionaire be. I even offered that I would provide the keys and fobs for them to program if they are so sadly in need of making a profit instead of gaining a regular customer. It seems the mighty $$$$$$$ is more important than building a good customer base with goodwill.. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau Apparently they felt offended and insulted by my complaint and responded with the following message Which is full of lies. MESSAGE FROM BUSINESS: Customer was advised that the vehicle did not come equipped with keys by the Sales Consultant, Manager and Customer Relations Manager both prior to sales transaction and post. Customer was informed that All Star Ford has a third party vendor that offers key services and they would allow customer to pay at cost, which is, $150. Customer was informed that he can come to our dealer on any Tuesday between 11-12 pm to purchase his key services with our third party vendor. Unethical. Disrespectful. Takes advantage of the customer. Wanted to charge almost double than Walnut Creek Ford. Doesn't communicate well. Plays games. Doesn't support the sign in the lobby of "customer satisfaction." President Brian Nokes doesn't return phone calls. Nor does Mike. Andrew Penuela was a horrible representative. No communication. Kept our vehicle for 3 days with no results. Had to chase them down for an update on the 3rd day. He blamed the delay on parts and a "tough" repair to perform. When we asked Andrew to give us a manager... he transferred us to a "Chris" who spoke a while and stuck up for Andrew, then he put us on hold. Then another man came to the phone and said "hello this is Chris". We advised that we just spoke to a Chris... and he replied... "... I am the only Chris here and I just came to the phone". (So someone was obviously trying to hide the situation from him) We stopped trusting them, paid $225 for the diagnosis, and took our vehicle to Walnut Creek Ford. The did their own diagnosis and found the same issue... and quoted $400 LESS (without knowing the original problem or quote). WC Ford repaired the car in 24 hrs. When I called for the top person in charge, I was given three different names on three different occasions. Left polite messages for all to call me back.... No call back. I wish I had the experience that others here talk about. I got my car stolen so I had to go get a replacement. I saw a lightly used mustang at this store and worked on purchasing it. I was told that it was Ford certified. They certified it. They hyped their certification process. However, as it was time to talk to finance suddenly they had some "bad news". This car that went through all the rigorous checks, somehow no one noticed the frame damage. The dmv report has the car listed as salvage- total loss due to frame damage. So let me say, first off, I planned on posting this regardless if I purchased a vehicle or not from them. Day 1 When I first went into the dealership I planned on trading in my car. I had already gotten quotes from 3 other companies. I planned on going through Ford because I figured they'd offer more. I mean I was trading in a Ford. Anything that would need to be fixed would be super cheap for them to do. I walked in and handed them the keys. They did whatever they do. I mean I assume it's just them checking numbers and the vin. They said I can roam around and look at cars. Then the manager took two steps out, looked, turned around and then went back into his office. So the sales guy brought me into his office. He said they were getting a price. I was confused by that because EVERY single place I went to had a person give it a good look and even test drove it. The offers that I had was from $4800 to $6000. The dealership offered me $2500! I looked at him like he was crazy! I got up and told him nevermind. Then he asked me to give him a minute while he spoke to his manager again. When he came back he offered $4500. I told them that was crazy. I just didn't see how they could go up $2000 because I said no. What happens with the people who don't say no? Anyway, I told them the cars that I liked. They tried to keep me there to check them out. I told them that I have to research. I don't just go in and buy a car. I have to look at the reviews. I have to look at the ratios. I have 2 kids. I have to make sure that car is safe for all of us. Especially them. I also told them I have to think about the trade in. So another guy came and asked what could they could do to keep us there. Then he asked what if they can raise the trade in to $6000. That should've been a red flag for me. I mean... How do you go from $2500 to "possibly" $6000? So then I told him sorry again and left. Day 2 After lots of talking and researching on the internet we went back in. We assumed that since they said they could possibly get it to $6000 that they would. So we budgeted with it. (Note: Never assume) So we came in wanting to look at 2 different years of the same car. First off... I will not use names because I don't want sales people calling me and texting me all emotional and asking me to delete a post for a SECOND time. Long story... I'll give a short version. After I picked the car, we came in to talk numbers. We all sat down and he ask for $30,000 out the door. Considering it would have been around $32,000 at the door, I could've said yes. I, of course got greedy and said $27,000 out the door. So he stepped out and brought the second step person in. He said how that was way too low. Then we started talking about the trade in. I guess he wasn't happy about the numbers we were talking about because they had memory loss about trying for $6000. They spoke about $5000 and $4500. It was getting a bit ridiculous. There was a lot going on. So I left. I decided to ignore the mess I was dealing with there. Day 3 I was looking at a lot of cars and I still wanted that car. So I texted the salesman about doing $29,000 otd. I figured that was fine because he offered me $30,000. He was a bit rude on the text message and he had another memory loss about his offer. So I told him nevermind. I can only handle so much rudeness. So I posted a review about my experience that I had on Day 2. Later that day I got a call from him that I had no desire to answer. He left a message apologizing about his behavior. It was a very dramatic message. He was probably getting in trouble. Then he sent me a text message apologizing again. He pretty much asked me to delete it. Me being a nice person, I did. With the things that happened with my first post, it makes me wonder how many people did they ask to remove their post. When push comes to shove, I just didn't feel comfortable saying absolutely nothing about my experience. Everyone deserves the absolute truth and honesty when reading other people's experiences. They should be able to prepare themselves or to walk away. Sidenote: Thank goodness I didn't get that car because I found the same one with added features, in better shape, less miles and a LOWER price. Brought my Lincoln in to get warranty repair. They did not check with the warranty company first to see if they paid the same per hour that they cost was per hour. They did the check on my car anyway. And then with the warranty company came out to do the inspection. Then they contacted me to tell me that the warranty company did not pay their rate of hourly pay and that if I wanted to take it somewhere else, I would have to pay the $750 for the check ups each of the items that I brought the car in to get checked. They were supposed to give me a discount they never did. I ended up paying $1300 to get my car out on a warranty case. Company is very un informative to the customer about their cost. This shop took payment via a popular Fleet platform, then held our vehicle because the platform had issued a check and they had not received it yet. At this point fine, and understandable. When I tried to resolve the issue they told me they could not take payment over the phone. Since this is a company vehicle that would have put the payment burden on to the driver. So I got an exception to pay the vehicle over the phone. When I did call in payment my specific and direct request was that I needed a reciept sent to me so I could call the fleet company and have the check they issued canceled. I was explicit in this request and used the word 'need'. They did not send the receipt. All in all I had to call three companies to have the initial payment canceled. This group had poor communication, and pushed responsibility around such that my request was not resolved. I did not get any sense that they cared or took any responsibility for submitting and approving the initial payment. Most of this I could have dismissed as a odd situation both our company and the shop had to navigate. But after paying twice and spending all the hours to get they issue resolved NOT getting the receipt left a really bad taste in mouth. read more
