From my experience, they have swift access to any parts. Brian fixed my AC issue in a few hours. It was a thorough inspection as there were so many components involved, with 3 zones. They diagnosed, got the parts, fixed it all and it was for a great price. My family has AC again! It was "just deal with it" because the car was out of warranty and we expected that it would be super expensive. Ended up being $289 out the door - couldn't believe it. But the true gem is Marisol. She does it all and is the "mom" in the "mom and pop" operation. Great customer service and wonderful to talk to when you get there. Came in for an 8am Friday appointment for a squeaking noise from the front driver side. Customer service was great right away, honestly the main reason I'd come back. The owners were easy to talk to, explained things clearly, and even showed a video of what was wrong. Inspection was $130 + 4% for card, so bring cash if you can. After the inspection, for the repairs I chose to get the front engine mount and brake pads done. I left, came back within 38 minutes, and paid about $700 cash, around $835 total for everything. Pricing felt fair. Shop is in a rough area and the waiting space is basic, but fine. Only thing I didn't like: they didn't show me the old parts or the new ones (motor mount or brake pad boxes). It looked like new work was done, but I'd feel better seeing that upfront. Next time I'll ask. Overall, solid experience. Nice people, fair work, that's what matters. I'd go back. read more

I hate writing negative reviews about businesses, but unfortunately this was the worst experience I've ever had with an auto shop. During Christmas time, I discovered that my BMW had a differential fluid leak. I tried calling my regular shops, but they were all closed for the holidays. The only shop that was open was Embee Motors, so I called them and explained my issue. Marisol (the owner) quoted me $450 to replace the pinion seal and said it would take a full day because they needed to order the part. I dropped my car off on Saturday at 9:00 AM and picked it up around 6:00 PM. On my drive home, I immediately noticed a loud howling sound coming from the car that had never been there before. Concerned, I returned to the shop. When I spoke with Bryan (the mechanic and husband), he admitted that when removing the exhaust to access the differential, he couldn't get the exhaust pipe to fit back properly. He said he left it loose because he was worried tightening the clamps might break them. I asked why I wasn't told about this before driving away, and he said he didn't think it was a big deal. From a customer's perspective, honesty and transparency are essential. If something goes wrong during a repair, the shop should inform the customer immediately instead of letting them drive off with a problem. The situation became even worse when I spoke with Marisol. She was extremely rude, defensive, and raised her voice at me simply because I asked them to fix the noise that appeared after their work. She refused to take responsibility and claimed they are not responsible for issues on modified cars. This made no sense to me -- if you don't work on modified cars, why accept the job in the first place? I ended up taking my car to the BMW dealership, and their mechanic told me that whoever attempted the previous repair made the situation worse. What should have been a $450 pinion seal repair turned into a $3,000 bill because the differential gear is now damaged and now needs replacement. Lesson learned: do not take your car to an auto shop that has only been open for about a year just to try to save some money. Sometimes it's better to spend more at an experienced shop and have peace of mind with the service and professionalism. In my case, I was influenced by the photos they posted of many luxury cars like BMWs and Porsches, which made the shop look trustworthy. Don't let that convince you the same way it convinced me. I paid $450 for a repair that ultimately caused much more damage to my vehicle. To future customers: please be cautious.
