I called Ryan and he not only saved me money on the brake and coolant fluids, he saved me a bundle on ridding my engine of rats. Called in to get an alignment on my car. Ryan said they don't work on cars that are modified or lowered. I decided to look for a second opinion and found Grand Auto Works. After speaking with Ryan, he gave me a fair quote of $950 for the necessary work. I dropped off my car during lunch, and Ryan actually advised me that my throttle body and fuel injection cleaning weren't needed since my car only has 67k miles. It was frustrating that the dealership pushed unnecessary services without giving me options--definitely left a bad impression. My initial appointment was just to have the serpentine belt replaced on my Mazda CX5. Ryan advised me that there is also a second belt that runs the water pump, which I didn't know about. He then explained that if I wanted to replace it at a separate visit it would cost more than having both replaced at same time. Went in today for brake pads. Before I gave my keys, I also inquired about my AC that hasn't blown cold air since I bought it. Considering how hot it has been lately I was in great need for functioning air conditioning. The service advisor said I can get an AC recharge which could be done at the same time as the brake service!
