We were recommended this bar and restaurant by a delightful server at Maryhill Winery. For full context- this is a bar- but has excellent ambiance, service, and food. This operated more like a restaurant. All the staff were very personable and friendly. They provided great recommendations on food and drinks and were very accommodating. We ordered the nachos with added chicken and they were hearty and delicious. The pretzel with cheese did not disappoint. The huckleberry French was was both effective and delicious. Unpredictable. I know it is a bar, so it is not supposed to be about the food. However, when one is there at lunchtime on a weekday, it seems like food should get more attention. I had my first salad there last week. It was delicious! Best food I've had there. That would have been a great meal... Except I asked for something extra. I asked the waitress for a piece of garlic toast or a roll to go with the salad. She returned from the kitchen and happily put down a saucer with an untoasted, unbuttered piece of white bread. We could hardly believe it. The sweet potato fries are about the best I've had. But I've had regular fries that were definitely undercooked. I found the Mac and cheese to be too rich. The sauce completely overwhelmed the pasta. I was excited to try their poutine , but it was much too salty for my taste. I wish them well and hope the food quality will stabilize over time. read more

I went for a drink tonight on the way home - very low key comfortable feel. I sat at the bar, had a couple drinks, read the Inlander and had a wonderful conversation with a couple sitting next to me. I wasn't really hungry, but they raved about the curry soup so I had some and it was spectacular (not spicy fyi). Everything is homemade, and they have a fresh sheet and rotating soups, etc. The staff was super friendly and very, very attentive. It was a Friday at 5 ish and the place was lively and friendly feeling. Reasonably priced. Will definitely return. Best food in town. I crave the pretzels and bahn mi on a daily basis. If you're trying to impress people from out of town, this is the place to go. Literally the only downside to this place is that it is all a bar and doesn't have a separate restaurant section... because I wish I could take my daughter here! Pros: The BLT I ordered was delicious, the appetizers were great, the bar welcomed our large group, and the music was great. Everyone was able to socialize and have a fun time. Cons: Two people ordered the mac and cheese which both came with hairs in them. Luckily, the server apologized, the food was taken back, and their meals were on the house. A couple employees were drunk. One at the bar seemed off balance and did not know what we meant when we needed one set of silverware. While I was using the restroom, an employee and a barefoot woman were in the bathroom. They left and brought back toilet paper which I was grateful for, but the stumbling, incoherent (she was trying to talk, but seemed too intoxicated to do so), barefoot woman was the one with the keys to the toilet paper holders and changing the toilet paper. I am giving three stars and taking time to review because other patrons should know what to expect and gauge if this is a good place for them. They have really good food and have a great facility to work with, but the service did not reach par. I will not be back, but maybe another night, with different staff, someone will stop in and have a wonderful experience. read more

Been here numerous times and never a bad experience. Not too hipsterish and pretty decent food. It's a good place to hang, meet up with friends, etc + they have TVs. One time we ended up there on a bingo night, which we weren't expecting but it was really fun. It was busy that night but we never usually have problems getting a table. Wow, where to start! First, let me preface by saying that we ordered from Uber Eats. Dinner for four: Fish tacos are pre-frozen, re-heated triangles. Avocado Gouda burger had fake cheese, NO avocado, and - you guessed it - a round, pre-frozen, re-heated patty. Street tacos with carnitas were bland and lacking condiments, with just ok, pretty dry meat. Same for Street tacos with steak, except dry, chewy, tough meat. We ordered the same side on all four meals - didn't receive a single side. Also, especially without sides, the portions were tiny. A very disappointing $60 meal. I could sit in the back of a Cisco truck with a microwave and come up with a more satisfying meal. read more

My husband and I are always looking for great new places to eat when we are on vacation, and we came across this place on yelp. After checking out the menu and the reviews we decided to have lunch here. And boy are we glad we did. It was incredible! The poutine was a fantastic appetizer, and then my husband had the Cuban with fries and I had the TAB wrap with Mac salad. Holy cow every single thing on our plates was to die for. We stuffed ourselves as full as we could because we just couldn't stop eating. Haha. The Mac salad may be on par with some of the best I've ever had. Our waitress was so great! According to our ticket her name was Kelly Ninja Turtle, lol. She was the only one up front doing all of the cashiering, waitressing, bussing, and bartending, and she never missed a beat. The service she gave us was top notch. Sadly we leave tomorrow but we will most definitely be back next time we're in Spokane! read more

Holy Moses this place is fantastic! I went searching for a new lunch spot, and I think I found it. The inside had a chill feel, was nicely decorated, bar was fully stocked, food ROCKED, and I was met with amazing service. Seriously?! Seriously. I tested the pretzel sticks; BOMB! Warm, pretzely, salted perfectly, amazing cheese dip. Can't go wrong with these. Followed by the Caesar wrap, AWESOME! Smoky chicken, lovely (what I would guess is housemade) dressing, crisp greens and a fresh wrap. Accompanied by one of the BEST soups ever -- sweet chili chicken. DAMN, can I get some mo' of that?! Seriously, that bit of heaven in a cup went too fast! Top that off with a well made drink... I will definitely be back! Prices were what I expected, and are well worth the quality. This place is 21+ folks so obviously not a place for the family crowd, but totally the spot to take your hunny on date night. Keep it up, guys! This place is a gem. read more

My wife and I stopped in after an evening of shopping. We ordered a turkey wrap and a Bahn Mi. They were pricey, but we were looking forward to a nice meal. The service and beer were good, but the sandwiches were appallingly BAD! There could not have been 1/2 ounce of meat in either sandwich. A pile of lettuce, a few cucumber chips, and a small hint of meat. We left a tip, for the waitress, but the food was a joke. It gets worse; we tried to pay with a $75 gift certificate but they would not accept it. They said I needed to get an "app", sign in, and get some kind of card. My bar-coded certificate clearly says that "this voucher is your gift certificate". The certificate says nothing about needing to sign-in with an app. They said that they could not trust a customer with a voucher like this one, implying that I was a possible thief, and would not accept it. We had to pay with a card. Apparently, my $75 gift certificate (birthday present) is worthless. read more

Nice pub in a not so nice area. Service was good as was food. We sat outside, traffic noise moderate. Their pretzels with cheese sauce and mustard was good. We spent the evening playing trivia here on Tuesday. It was a fun venue. The trivia was crowded but we managed to find a table for 7 about 40 min before trivia started. They have great food. The avocado burger is one of the best in town. The service was a bit slow but this was probably related to how busy the place was. I would definitely recommend. read more
