- A bagel sandwich for lunch? - Yup. It might sound strange to some folks but add their awesome Broccoli Salad as a side and I predict you will have dreams about it and be back for more. Arriving- It's almost within sight of US route 27 South. Parking is the elephant in the room but stick with it as it's worth it! Ambience- There is a little bit of seating, but this is primarily a take-out place. The bagels are imported from NY, so the NY vibe is darn cute and appropriate. Others have posted plenty of pics. Customer Service- This is a family-operated place and there is a 90% chance you will be dealing with the husband & wife owners. They're awesome and I've never had a problem. Lunch Menu- There is plenty of breakfast food, but this review focuses on their lunch bagel sandwiches, so there are about a dozen sandwiches available and they average about $7.50. I chose the Brooklyn @ $7.50. It's a pumpernickel bagel with pastrami, Swiss cheese, dill pickles and mustard. My side was the Broccoli Salad, 8oz. $3. It's chopped broccoli, crumbled bacon, red onion, and shredded cheese, in a slightly sweet dressing. I brought my lunch home, and you can see my pictures. Taste- Chewy bagel, tons of meat & cheese, snappy pickle, and savory mustard. What's not to like. A seriously scrumptious sandwich. The Broccoli Salad is my new obsession. It's homemade and I could take a bath in it. The flavors just explode in my mouth! It's the perfect side dish! Conclusion- They've been open about a year now and have built a solid reputation with an average of about 4.5 stars on the 2 big review sites. I would agree! You know who the other one is! Straight to the point: Business location: Hidden owners have made it stand out with good paint and some outside vegetation. First impression walking in: Bam! Somehow we have entered a New York dinner/shop almost like a business located next to a subway inside of one of those old block buildings. Small but clean. Made to order, wait a bit for food then be on your way. Management: seems family owned but work well together. Friendly and accurate. Food: French toast bagel with Cinnamon butter was exceptional and simple. Everything bagel with just plain cream cheese tasted different (in a good way) as of the bread was made well. If you are a local, this can easily become the quick stop before starting the day. Only 1 draw back, coffee is the counter top, make-it-yourself. For me, not really an issue but for most perhaps the only thing holding this place back. read more

Was working in Avon Park and was craving bagels. I looked it up and found this location. Went in and enjoyed my bagel. I just got a plain bagel extra toasted with extra cream cheese and man did it hit the spot. It's small in the inside but the theme is very cute. The last at the counter was super cool. One of my bffs is opening a bagel shop in Avon Park! She's not open officially until mid November, but I stopped for her soft opening and loved it! My bagel sandwich was awesome. Took several bagels home too. It's a small place that is decorated so cute, complete with a fake fuzzy rat on a shelf. Your best bet is to probably order ahead! There's an adorable patio outside to enjoy your food too. My girl will always serve you with a smile too. Her bathroom is even adorable. You must go!! read more

The bagels were so yummy! My husband had the Union City, basically a Cuban sandwich! I had the Time Square Toast, like a BLT. We both switched our bagels to be everything bagels, and I added sausage to my Time Square Toast. They gave us free Almond Joy Cinnamon Rolls, and my husband said it's one of the pastries he's ever eaten. Well definitely come back! read more

NY Bagels are hard to find in this county but this new place is amazing. They are popular enough now that they run out if you don't get there early enough. The entire tiny place is adorable with parking and tables in the back. Hope they open another one in Sebring or Lake Placid. read more

This place has a good variety of bagels and cream cheese spreads. My favorite are the lunch combinations just add an egg and it makes a nice sandwich! I got the Brookyln which was a pumpernickel bagel with pastrami, Swiss, and mayo. I subbed out the mayo for cream cheese and added an egg! Delish! Service was great! The decor was very New York! Had my first bagel on Friday, got the Asiago cheese bagel, toasted with scallion and bacon cream cheese. The service was quick, and made with care. I've never been to New York, but in my life I've had good bagels and bad bagels and this bagel was delicious. Monitor in the building stated they aren't made with preservatives which I love. Fresh and very good. Reasonably priced, building was cute and clean. Definitely will be back! read more

The customer service is great, but just inspect your cream cheese when you get it. This is the 2nd time this has happened so I am posting a review. I ordered 2 -8 ounce containers of cream cheese and I got maybe 60% of each container and there's food particles of various bagel material in the cream cheese as well. definitely not the best quality control, but the bagels are excellent. read more

Went today because I've heard a lot about this bagel place and I had to check it out. We got there and it was a little to late for breakfast. We didn't want lunch so we took home 2 everything's. The owner told me how great they were and right from New York and he was right. I haven't enjoyed a bagel like that in years. Amazing! I will be back for more and can't wait to have them for Christmas. My only complaint is that the Parking is a bit strange. read more
