My wife and I both had appts near the wawa on union hill rd. I finished first and my wife needed another 1/2 hour, so I decided to check out the new bagel store in the shopping center. I ordered an everything bagel with butter. The bagel was just mediocre. Overdone - even though I asked for lightly baked with an unusual bread like (vs bagel-like) center. The worst is that they used margarine instead of actual butter. That is disgusting. I ate 1/4 of the bagel, I saved the rest for my wife, she took a bite and gave it back - rest went into the garbage. There are so many bagel stores in the area - many of which are FAR better. Went home to visit family for the weekend & every single person in my family got a hobo & thought it was amazing!! I was so happy they even had gluten free bagels (plain & everything). Usually a gf bagel is much smaller but when I took them out of the bag, I couldn't tell the difference! Was super delicious & really enjoyed the cinnamon toast latte as well, would go back! They did not have an outdoor setting, that would have been nice for a summer day. read more

Staff is nice and it's pretty clean inside. Design is minimalist. They load up the spread sandwiches for a decent price. Very small table area so expect to take out. read more

I try to patronize The Bagel Bar a couple of times a week, although I am not local and there are plenty of bagel places where I live. That should tell you something. The Bagel Bar has a wide variety of bagels, which are excellent. Nice size with a crunch on the outside and softness inside, as a classic bagel should be. As an added bonus, The Bagel Bar also carries bialys, which are quite good. Many bagels shops no longer carry bialys. In fact, i placed an order at a local bagel place where I live and the person answering the phone asked what a bialys was. You will not encounter that at The Bagel Bar. The spreads are extremely fresh and delicious they definitely do not skimp when you order any of their spreads. Staff working behind the counter are welcoming, friendly and hardworking. The Bagel Bar also has a generous Rewards Program I highly recommend this establishment if you are looking for great bagels. 5 star establishment. read more

I came with my family for a quick and light breakfast on my way to work. Even though it was a Sunday at 8:30am, they were still pretty busy. We got a large coffee, a latte with oat milk, an egg on cheese on a bagel and lox bagel for a little less than $30. Which I thought was pretty reasonable. Bagels are super soft, which I know is a good thing, and I enjoyed, even though I like my bagels a little chewier/toastier. Everyone was super pleasant and friendly. I understand places get busy but that's part of the business. Just absolutely poorly ran and the workers need to work on their attitude and the way they deal with customers. This place is really terrible. I came here today and it was really busy so I knew it would be a bit of a wait but I was waiting for 40 minutes for 2 bagels. Finally I decided to ask someone to check on my order and he completely ignored me and went to bring other people their orders , I asked someone else and she was also no help. Someone else was also asking the same worker to check on his order and the worker said he can't do anything and just had nothing to say. So why are you working here then? Then he tells me that there's no order for me!! So I have been standing here for 40 minutes for absolutely no reason. I went up to the girl who rung me up and I told her and she was just looking at me clueless and then asks me if there's a different bagel I want instead of the poppy I ordered, So they never even made my order in the first place. I got absolutely no apology , they just made my order and handed it to me. The bagels were a mess and weren't even toasted. I usually never write reviews but this was just awful and I won't be coming back. Service is terrible and bagels were not even good. read more

I've edited my review because I know as a new business owner that these things can hurt. I was just so annoyed this morning. Maybe you can try the person who takes your order, especially if it's for either carryout bagels or bagels with butter or cream cheese they could accomplish that task on their own instead of handing it off. I understand if you're having an egg sandwich or something that has to be cooked or a cold cut sandwich that way it might be different.. just an idea. I hope you improve.
