Wow! Wow! Wow! I never thought I would be giving a small bagel shop a 5 star review. This place is amazing. My father has been going there for a while and when I came to visit he wanted me to try it. We made the 20 min drive over to the Bagel Maker to pick up a dozen for the next days breakfast. When we got there the place was closed but the man working behind the counter told us to come in. He didn't have any bagels in his display case but told us he had some in the back. My dad had a full punch card for a free dozen but forgot it that day. The man told us to take the bag of bagels free of charge and to not worry about the card. We thanked him and left the store. As we were driving off the man came out with a loaf of rye bread and said he wanted us to have it! This business is run like a small town business should be run and I hope the people of this town will support it! Now to the taste and quality: The next day I had a cinnamon raisin bagel for breakfast. The texture and taste were out of this world. The rye bread we used for sandwiches and brat buns. The bread was better than any loaf of bread at any bakery or grocery store in the Panama City area. We used to drive to the Donut Hole in San Destin for great bread, the donut hole baked goods don't even compare to the Bagel Maker. I really recommend trying their bread. Definitely worth my 5 star rating. read more

We went while visiting my sister, first thing in the morning. There were already people in there to my surprise. The place is tiny. I mean really small. A few window seats if it's not to crowded. There is also seating outside. The girl that helped us (didn't get her name) was super sweet. We placed a pretty big order, she didn't mind or get frustrated with us at all. These bagels are delicious. Almost better than the ones we had in New York to be honest. I had the everything bagel with lox. I added tomato and sprouts to mine with plain cream cheese. It was simply perfect. My husband had the sausage egg and cheese. The bagel again was perfect. Nothing fancy with the eggs and sausage and cheese scrambled in the microwave. He really enjoyed it. We got a dozen and a half mix bagels togo and chive bacon cream cheese, as well as strawberry cream cheese. Everyone loved them. They have fresh squeezed orange juice that was really good. Definitely worth the money. If you like bagels, this is a must go. read more

This is a really wonderful place we had passed by a time or two but only recently stopped at. The staff are wonderful, and the food is delicious. The prices were great as well. They have so many homemade goodies and rotate out some of their treats. We loved the mummy sausages, bagels with spread, and the tuna salad. Wow. Really great tasting stuff they make there. Not that I'm surprised, but they don't have any vegan options here except an unadorned bagel. I tired a garlic bagel, toasted and the top was tasty. I fed the bottom to the birds. It wasn't bad, it just didn't have the flavour throughout. My dad got a bagel with blueberry cream cheese and he loved it. He said the cream cheese wasn't overly sweet like so many fruit flavours are. The shop itself is very small. We took our bagels to go and I'd imagine you'd want to do the same. There is some seating outside which would be nice in mild weather. read more

This place is for grab and go, not dining in. There are 2 tiny tables outside on the sidewalk, and a bar against the front glass window with 3 stools inside. It did smell good, but you can't truly consider this a restaurant as there's nowhere to sit. read more

After living on the beach side of PC for three years, hubby and I finally made it over here for a bagel sandwich. We both had the egg w/bacon, and it was delicious! Got some bagels to go for breakfast tomorrow. Downfall: this place claims they have smoothies. It was literally juice (we watched her make the smoothie) blended with ice. Delicious. I walked in to buy maybe five or six bagels and walked out with a dozen. The guy was just so friendly and the bagels smelled so good!! We sampled cream cheese and bought the jalapeno. My daughter was disappointed there were no cheese bagels but the guy said it was not cheese bagel day. He was so nice and his upbeat personality was really great to see in the early morning!
