These are legit, old-school quality New York style bagels. The bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich and The Sexy are my favorites. The bagels are all awesome and fresh and is just a matter of preference what you choose. Great, prompt service, delicious menu, friendly staff, good prices, what more can you want? This place is seriously the best in AZ! I had the everthing bagel with lox cream cheese and it was fantastic. I have never had a lox spread but it might be better than a regular lox (less of a struggle to eat). The owner was very friendly and seemed to know a lot of the other customers by name which isn't surprising because after one visit you will definitely become a regular! read more

This is the best place in AZ to get an authentic NYC bagel! If you're looking for the bagel lox they know how to do it right. Just like in NYC where they smother it in cream cheese and don't skimp on the lox. You'll enjoy every bite. They run out quickly so you have to show up early to get the bagel you want. I live right down the street and my girls and I often ride our bikes down to the shop on Sunday mornings. The bagels are made fresh everyday, I often would see the windows all fogged with steam as I made my way to work at 5 Am in the winter. The kids love it. I usually get an everything bagel with the veggie cream cheese that they make. I actually have not branched out yet, but I will next time! It is really great when the bagels have just came out hot and you don't even need to toast them. read more

I got an egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel. The bagel was a bit to garlic salty for me but I'm sure most other Americans would love it. the bagel was like a fresh baguette; crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. The simple sandwich was good but I will get a different type of bagel next time. read more

Found on Yelp, easy to get to. Fun friendly atmosphere, great greeting. Lots of choices, fresh bagels. Ordered the lox and cream cheese on garlic bagel. Hubby had scrambled egg, bacon on garlic bagel. Bagels were good size, and they did not skimp on ingredients, including the lox, cream cheese, and capers. Most garlic bagels can't taste the garlic. This was spot on. When in Phoenix this will be our look forward to, must stop place. Very fast service. read more

Six months ago I moved back to Phoenix from living in NYC for a few years, and these bagels bring me back. They are consistently baked perfectly and have that wonderful balance of chew and crisp and air and softness. Only thing I miss is the non-dairy based cream cheese options... Would love it if they offered at least one non-dairy variety. So I usually just buy mine to go and smear at home. read more

Adventures in Bagels. As often as they may be good, they are not good. Inconsistency is not a good thing in business, especially for a restaurant. In any event, I do not believe they are first boiled like a real N.Y. bagel should be. If they are, something else is wrong. At the busiest times they may be out of the most popular styles. Not good when you are anticipating your meal. On one occasion, Owner was out of change and actually told me he would "Catch me Next Time:. Really? If anything, he should have offered to undercharge me by the difference, and not the opposite. Also, if you need a receipt be ready to give out your email address, cause that is the ONLY way to get one. Not even sure this is Legal! Should be given the option of a hard copy at time of service, OR, emailed at your choice. Bagels may be good at times, but, too many other important things are off putting. read more

The bagels are good but they cannot get a breakfast sandwich order right. They have messed my order up 3 times on takeout orders only. I get charged for the extras I want but don't always get them. It's not hard to give a customer what you charge them for. If you get a takeout sandwich, check it before you leave. read more

I stumbled upon this lil gem this morning via my homey Yelp, and once again it steered me right! These bagels are delicious! The perfect consistency, density, chewiness, and they boil em! The way they are supposed to be made... Unlike that chain place out here in the desert :) it's a tiny lil shop in a strip mall and kind of hidden but seek it out and stop in! Great prices and quality food. Breakfast and lunch sandwiches as well as some pastries and fresh made cream cheese in house! Only downfalls would be the size of the place and it was really hot in there. Just get your food to go and the problem is solved :) read more
