Happened to come in here twice in two days, and I'm impressed with their service and their food. Lots of people come in here with friends because it is extremely comfortable, from the tables and chairs, to the bathrooms, and especially the beautiful decoration. completely disappointed would be an understatement. from the moment we walked in around 11 on a Saturday, looking at the menu with not a soul waiting to order, we had the cashier tapping his pen constantly on the counter for over a minute - waiting / encouraging us to order NOW. we ordered. my iced coffee was fine, her cappucino tasted like they took the burned remnants of the morning cooking, soaked in hot water, strained it into a cup and topped it with some foam. It hands down was the worst tasting cup of coffee I've ever tasted and we threw it out. the bagels took about 15-20 minutes - literally that long to arrive. mine again wax ok, hers was very light on the cream cheese and chive. never ever again. read more

The Go-To Bagel Spot in Wayland! This is hands down the best bagel shop in and around Wayland. The food is consistently delicious, and I've never had to wait more than a couple of minutes to get my order. The staff is always friendly, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality. Despite being a popular spot, there's always plenty of seating inside, and they're never out of bagels, no matter when I stop by. First and last time I'll come here. I had really high hopes, because the place is super cute and very clean and aesthetically pleasing. But the staff was rude to everyone. When I asked if the egg and cheese sandwich was fried or scrambled, and he told me they're pre made. I hesitated but got it, and the egg is barely existent and not fresh- it's like a thin microwaved egg pattie. Maybe the bagels with cream cheese are good, but I won't be coming back to find out. read more

I ordered a Jalapeño and Cheddar bagel toasted w/Peanut Butter. I received a Bagel with No Peanut Butter. After the gentlemen who made it calls out when he was finished making it "Jalapeño and Cheddar Bagel with Peanut Butter!" You just got finished making it, wouldn't you realize you didn't put Peanut Butter on it. If I felt like driving back I would've went back to fix the mistake. Can't say i'll be back... My wife and I ordered turkey sandwiches. Typically when you order a sandwich it comes with lettuce, tomato, Mayo/mustard. This came with two slices of bread and turkey. That's it. Luckily I took it to go so I can add my own fixings. Don't waste your money on this sandwich. read more

It was lunch time, and I wanted another place known for their big sandwiches. But that market was takeout only, so we went to The Bagel Table instead. Food: excellent......: I had a sandwich of pastrami and cheese, with mustard and lots of pickles, on toasted multigrain bread. It was excellent. You order at a counter, and they bring it to you. The seating is very roomy. I'm not sure if it started as a bookstore- they display best sellers, and fiction and non fiction books. Spotless inside. My beautiful partner, she had a tuna on a bagel of her choosing with onions tomatoes and pickles. She was happy! I ate much of hers....., and the next day. It's excellent! read more

We waited in line for an eternity as we watched this young lady in sunglasses take FOREVER to take down everyone's order. Others who had already ordered were waiting, and waiting, and waiting. The kitchen which is visible from the ordering line had ZERO sense of urgency and all this while and older lady just stood at the registers doing seemingly nothing. We called an audible at the last minute and left. If perhaps there's some medical condition which requires sunglasses, I apologize. But I must say when you're rotting in line (and hungry) watching Jacqueline Kennedy trying to take orders it realllllly rubs you the wrong way. read more

While this isn't an old fashioned NYC H&H Bagel, it's an excellent addition to Metrowest. They have a good selection of bagels with crispy edges and good flavors. Much better than Bruegers, Finagle (yuck) or NY Water bagel (such a filthy place). Einstein continues to deliver, but their bagels have gotten smaller over time. The schmears are solid, the egg sandwiches are winners and their cookies (black and white) and cupcakes are unexpectedly and delightfully delicious!! While the service here can be a bit slow, they always friendly and focused on getting it right. read more

The food is good. I love going in here for coffee, bagels, sandwiches and their cookies and cakes are good too. The only downside is that they're only open 7-2. There's customers on route 20 that are probably going to Dunkin because Bagel table isn't open early enough. Unfortunately this place only has one chance, Restaurant Impossible! As a local resident I gave it 3 chances to support this long awaited business, but no bueno each time. The bagels aren't made fresh, in fact I think they're from the Stop & Shop in the town center. Since they aren't made fresh they run out quickly, example was this Sunday when they ran out of plain bagels by 10:30. What? More frustrating is the lack of interest by the employees like others mentioned. I haven't seen disinterest like this since my last trip to Walmart. The online menu said salads were available. They were not. I am gluten-intolerant and asked what options they had. They had only a protein bar. When I asked why not have a gluten-free option they said cross-contamination would be a problem. Arrived 730AM, 2 people working - very very very slowly. Now picture a small line forming. They did not honor the sign for the express lane for "bagels only" and I watched a few people leave. It was 7 minutes for one woman to make one (1) iced coffee to go. Then it was 8 minutes for another woman to capture the order for two (2) bagel sandwiches. In fact, after woman #2 took the order, she then started talking about what the father & son were doing for the day, and I heard all about the baseball game. I think there is a time and a place, and that was not the time to have a MULTIPLE MINUTE conversation about baseball with a line forming & customers leaving. That is my opinion WORD TO MANAGEMENT I actually think a local store manager can solve and improve a lot of this. 1 - COACH THE TEAM. The great news is you have AWESOME people!! Coach your team to treat the morning rush a little differently, maybe bring a little speed to how they interact. After they take an order, move to the next customer. 2 - HONOR the BAGEL EXPRESS LINE. The bagels are like Wonder Bread in the round. Mealy white bread. "Bagels" (in heavy quotes) are not boiled, and barely baked. I have been eating bagels for decades. These are the worst. The coffee was not bad. But even Dunkin Donuts' bagels are better. Please, if you like Wonder Bread, go get it. If you like bagels, go elsewhere. Too bad the Brugerers in Weston closed down. Sadly, my opinion is that the bagels are, at best, mediocre. Whole Foods has better bagels and they aren't very good either. The service is very slow for simple orders. Bagels are fine, not to die for. Menu is focused on pastries and such. People are friendly, but it takes a while. I think they get backed up, particularly on weekends. As for the rest of the sandwich options, there really isn't all that many. The menu is scarce and needs to be revamped. I dropped in and ordered a breakfast sandwich and 6 bagels in a bag to go. The staff was very nice and helpful. The restaurant was clean. However, at 11 am, the bagels were cold, hard and stale. I consider myself something of a bagel snob, and when I heard about this place opening, I decided to drive the 25 minutes from my house to give them a try. I was probably too optimistic because I ordered a dozen bagels for the family. Big mistake. The bagels were completely dry and had no taste. They really were like store bought bagels. Visited this cafe recently for the first time on a Sunday morning for breakfast . For my wife and I we decided to give it a try because we could ride our bikes on the nearby rail trail. The cafe itself was very clean and comfortable with a lovely shaded outside seating area . We ordered the egg & cheese on a bagel. While the bagels were large and tasty the actual preparation was disappointing. There was a single microwaved egg that I would expect from a fast food place but was expecting something better at.a Local cafe. The cheese was virtually non existent after it melted in the microwave. The staff were patient and efficient although I wish they could have been somewhat friendlier. Don't get me wrong they were not unfriendly but just neutral. Nothing wrong here. I just appreciate it more when staff are more openly friendly. Hoping owners see this and can make some improvements to the food preparation and execution. There seems to be lots of potential here if they can make some modest improvements to the food itself. read more

Very kind and attentive employees. Service has improved dramatically since their first few weeks open. Have a great selection of bagels, muffins, and sweets. A variety of lunch sandwich options And soup. Hot & iced coffee with almond & oatmilk add ins. Seems a little over priced for some sandwiches but lunches come with potato salad & a pickle. Happy to have them in town. read more
