Frescafe in Framingham has been one of our favorite breakfast spots for years, and it's been amazing to watch how much they've grown while continuing to deliver such a great experience. Even though the restaurant was busy, our wait was very short, and the staff did a great job accommodating us as quickly as possible. The service and attention to detail were outstanding from start to finish. The food was excellent. The grilled cheese with ham and tomato was absolutely delicious, the Eggs Benedict were perfectly prepared, and the fresh coffee and cortado were the perfect way to start the morning. If you're coming with family, the French toast and pancakes are huge and definitely big enough to share. One thing we really appreciate is the atmosphere. Even with a full dining room, it's comfortable enough to have a conversation without having to yell across the table. Great food, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere keep us coming back year after year. Found this place while in the area for a soccer tournament. We wanted good coffee and breakfast in a space with decent ambience. This place checked all the boxes. Cute interior, great service, good coffee (and lattes - had the iced vanilla one which was a nice treat), and delicious breakfast. We had beautiful omelettes. Ambiance (5/5): The inside is quaint with a few tables along both sides of the divide. The left side is where the counter queue for ordering lines up. The line went by quickly on a busy weekend hour. There's a bathroom located in the back. Service (5/5): I asked for a special order request and the staff checked if it was possible and it was! She had to run to the back to let the kitchen know of the special request and I super appreciated it! She was polite and friendly. The best espresso coffee in Framingham! Really friendly staff here, they remember all of their customers. You can order in English, Spanish or Portuguese. There's table service on the right, or walk up to the counter for service to go. It's a really nice place to enjoy a meal with friends if you can make the time. This is not a typical pastries and cookies cafe, so they don't have snacks ready to go (get those at the bakery across the street!). They do have an extensive menu of breakfast and lunch that they make to order. In addition to coffee, they have tea, juices, smoothies... Restroom in the back. I have been going to Frescafe for years both by myself and with my husband and it has always been a positive experience. The servers are extremely nice and go out of their way to make sure everything is just right. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced. Infact I go there so often that the waitresses remember who I am! I remember their faces but unfortunately do not remember their names but they are wonderful. Breakfast is one of my fave meals. I love me a good egg dish or pancakes especially shared with my family. We decided to try Frescafe one weekday morning that we were off from work. The food is okay. We got an omelette and a benny. I always say that food is always better when someone else makes it for you but I want to say this tastes just like when I make food. And unfortunately, I'm not that great of a cook so while it was fine, I didn't feel like it was worth a meal eaten out. The service is friendly and nice even though there only being one server for the whole place at the time. I visited Frescafe on a Tuesday, late morning and it was pretty empty. The waitress (Sue)warmly greeted me. There were two other tables with patrons eating. I ordered a black coffee ($2.59) and I was surprised that it tasted weak and watery. However, I ordered their special Eggs Benedict, with traditional English muffin, eggs and Hollandaise sauce. What made it special was the avocado and bacon with a little cup of salsa. I seriously can't remember the name because it's listed on a different menu. It came with yummy home fries. I loved this dish (with the exception of the egg whites not being totally cooked). See pic. I won't much complain about the price because this was a special 'girl solo' breakfast and I loved the Benny. However, when I pay 14.00 plus tip for my breakfast, I expect the coffee to be great and the main dish to be stellar. Overall, next time I'm in the Natick area, I might visit again just to give that Eggs Benedict another try. This has been one of my favorite places for brunch in Natick/Framingham area, and I have frequented this place several times. However, the quality of the food and service have been deteriorating over the past few years. We visited on a Sunday and was able to get a seat immediately (the place was not terribly busy). However, we waited over 15 mins to put our order in, and over half and hour to get our food (45 mins of hunger). Once we got our food, the eggs Benedict was overcooked. We told the waiter that, and got a sheepish smile with no offer to compensate or switch our dishes. We decided not to pursue it since we were hungry and didn't want to wait another 30 mins for food. I still love this place and I hope they do better in the future because I really want to come back and get a good experience. I hope the owners see this review and improve on it. read more

Breakfast is breakfast. Everybody does pretty much the same thing. Downers are noise, crowding, lack of cleanliness. Positives are a clean serve, hot tasty food and the server. Frescafe is a real positive. If you walk fast on Framingham's Concord Street, you'll pass it by. It's a hole in the wall hiding all the positives I like in a breakfast restaurant. I go every Saturday with one or both grand nieces whose goofiness brightens my day. They are a Joy. We started iyf with hot chocolate for them, pulled high with whipped cream. In went their noses. Both had Belgian waffles with warmed syrup and apple pieces. They left nothing. I had the standard eggs, bacon, home fries and English muffins. Perfect. This is a shout out to Dyanna, our server. This place knows how to do brunch. It's located in downtown Framingham, right by the train station. There's loads of free parking in the area so there's no headache! The restaurant is adorable. It's like a little diner that has every kind of breakfast food you can think of. And an added HUGE plus, you get a great bargain for your food! I started off with a coffee that comes with additional refills. And my group ordered 4 different things off the menu (there were 4 of us). - Nutella and berries French toast: NUTELLA. This dish is pretty heavy, don't think I could have finished it on its own. - Tomato and Lox eggs Benedict: Eggs Benny for $10? DAMN that's a deal!! And it was loaded with hollandaise and the home fries were bomb. - Apple and cinnamon waffles: not too sweet and a perfect fall treat. Get the whipped cream on the side - omelet (I'm forgetting what the name was, but it had goat cheese): HUGE. This omelet was massive, comes with home fries and toast. We split the bill and it came to about $12 each including tax and tip. WHAAAT. And the staff were crazy nice. We were having a girls lunch to catch up and we stayed for maybe around 3 hours... But they didn't rush us and we're nice to us, even continued asking if we wanted more coffee after we settled out check. My husband, our 2 kids and I walked in and got a table and coffee immediately. However, I wasn't given cream and sugar until I asked for it at least 10 minutes later. During that time we were completely ignored by the staff and they continued to ignore us and several other tables after I was given cream and sugar. All the tables in the restaurant were full, but it seemed almost no one had ordered any food. After sitting there for at least 10 minutes my husband set a timer and after another 15 minutes of being ignored we finally decided we couldn't wait anymore. My family and I are always looking for a good Sunday brunch spot. This weekend we were close to downtown Framingham and decided to see what was around. We came across Frescafe in yelp and decided to give it a try. Excellent choice!! We were immediately greeted and seated and I have a nice hot cup of coffee within mins. My husband and I had omelettes that were perfect! Just the right amount of egg to toppings that we like. My son had waffles and sausage and my daughter had pancakes the size of her head. We all really enjoyed our meal and it didn't take long to come out. The atmosphere was very familiar...the owner was personable and we instantly felt like regulars. I also liked how they cater to my son's food allergies. This will be on our Sunday brunch list for many weekends to come. read more

The food is what granted this place three stars. Their home fries are not crispy enough and very unseasoned. It's almost like they just reheat them to order. My boyfriend and friends came here recently for a double date, and we found it very charming. We were very skeptical at first because we're not from Framingham, and found the area a little sketchy. The waitstaff was nice, and the owner even came up to talk to us. She was such a sweetie. During our visit, I got the Host Spectacular and literally devoured my meal. The sausage were just how I liked them, and my bacon was a perfect crisp. I even ate my pancakes, and I don't even really like pancakes. My boyfriend got the steak bomb omelet and it looked and tasted great. My friends and boyfriend even caught the owner cutting up a elderly woman's food for her, and sitting down to talk to her.
