I ordered a bacon, egg, avocado, and hot sauce on a plain bagel, which is my usual order at bagel stores except this one was the best one yet. To start, normally bagel stores just put a fried egg on your sandwich but no, bagel tree exceeds expectations and gives you a nice big fluffy scrambled egg! Additionally, the bagel was super soft and really good consistency. I also loved that they put the avacado on the bottom instead of the top this way the egg and bacon doesnt just slide all out of the bagel! read more

They make some pretty decent bagels here. I'm really impressed with their selections. You have to try their French toast and bialy bagels. The insides are pretty soft, gooey and made to perfection. Three stars for the bagels. They're solid, but too big--to full of air. The smaller, more dense bagels are my preference, but in general you're seeing less of that on the East Coast. I guess this way places can charge more, and people feel like they're getting more. But an extra star for the coffee and service. They have the best bagels in Sussex County. But that comes with a price. I mean, you have to wait for your order to be taken and then have to wait awhile to have your order made. Then when you get your order, they don't know what you ordered and then you open the bag and it's the wrong order. I constantly had that problem. So I don't go here anymore. I would rather go to Hamburg Bagels, with no line or small line, they get the order right and the people know you by name. As for the price of the merchandise, it is a bit more expensive than other bagel places, probably because they have to hire some much staff. Wait, isn't that contradictary to waiting, YES. That why it's so enigmatic. So many people to wait on you but you wait for your order. Obviously, the system they have in place is flawed. Need better processes. Used to be good. Went in this morning for a pork roll and egg on toasted rye bread with salt and pepper to go. Paid and left. First, the good news. The sandwich was hot. Now the bad. When the economy turns bad a business is supposed to step up the quality to keep the customers. Instead, cutting quality means losing clients. We see it here in NJ every day. Pizza shops closing. Delis closing. The low price may be attractive to a few, but higher quality keeps the following. Seriously, a 3 Lb Taylor Pork Roll (the best there is) would yield about 60 slices. 4 to a sandwich is 15 sandwiches. The three pounds in ShopRite is 19.99 or about 1.33 per sandwich. Add the egg and cheese and you are up to about 2.00. It is selling for about 5.00. Yes, I know there is overhead. But now you make NOTHING because I am not returning. read more

Love this place ! Every weekend me and my family go and get bagels and sandwiches . It's a ritual now . Bagels are fresh and taste great . They have amazing croissant sandwiches too . It does get busy and at times have to wait some for your order but never for to long . You can sit down and eat also . The rolls are always cold, bacon is cold and just grabbed from the stack of cold bacon cooked prior, and then they put a cold slice of bacon on the roll. This time they didn't even put the egg on it! Listen, If you go to their store on a weekend morning you're going to be in line for a while. You know why that is? It's because this is the best place to get food for miles. Not just bagels either(Which superbly triumph over all others in the area) but their actual food is class act in all fields. This is my go-to breakfast place. The prices are great for what you get. The staff move quick and are friendly even when the place is bumpin. I really can't say enough good things about this place.
