I came in for the guava and cheese pastelitos and Nutella churros, but sadly they were out of both. I chose the pumpkin coffee first my drink and it was DELICIOUS. It gives Starbucks a run for its money. It was so good and so perfect. And you can get it year round! I just wish they had my snacks. I guess I'll be coming back again to, hopefully, try them.

I was having the late night munchies, opened up my fridge and totally forgot I had bought some pastries at The Bake Factory. The Bake Factory is a little bakery shop that not only serves pastries but also breakfast and coffee. I bought four macaroons and a tres leche. The macaroons and tres leche did not disappoint. I am a big tres leche fan, for me it had the perfect ratio of milk, cake and whipped cream. It wasn't too sweet or milky. You will definitely see me back!

I loved this new Colombian themed bakery. I decided to go a week ago and I ordered the coffee, tres leches, beef empanadas and the Colombian breakfast which was all good. Almost forgot the cheesecake. My favorite things were the breakfast if I'm being honest and their hospitality. Very sweet people for sure. I recommend and look forward to coming back and trying more.

Finally the perfect compliment to the King Fu Tea next to it! Lovely bakery with THE BEST Tres Leches cake I've had. Friendly and fast service, and great place to stop by with friends for a light lunch, snack or dessert. The ambiance is casual, order at the counter and sit down. Definitely recommend if you're in the area!

What a sweet place! I'm here in VA Beach on business & like to eat at local spots when I travel. I had a fabulous Latin food breakfast in a warm & quiet atmosphere. The service was great too. Glad I found it!

Just had breakfast at The Bake Factory. First impression, it was nicely decorated and I liked the relaxing jazz music that was playing. The lady that greeted us explained that they had new menu items that weren't on the large menu yet. She showed us pictures and explained what each dish was. I ended up ordering a coconut coffee and an arepa with egg and cheese. My husband got one of the new breakfast options (scrambled egg, rice and beans, an arepa with cheese and plantains) and a caramel latte. I regret not getting a picture of the food. It was prepared so beautifully and was equally delicious! The arepa was crispy but soft. Eggs were cooked just right. I really enjoyed my coconut coffee. It had just a hint of coconut which was nice. Too much can end up tasting like suntan lotion. Overall I give this place two thumbs up. I can't wait to come back and try some of the pastries.

Visited this place for an afternoon coffee and it was really good. The ambience is very relaxing and welcoming. I am excited to have such a wonderful family own Latin American restaurant so close home.

This is a Choripan, it has sausage, and Pico de gallo.

The service here was amazing and outstanding. They were very kind. It was also very clean, and I liked the fact that there is Kung Fu Tea connected to it. I loved the food, and I will definitely be coming back to try more food here.

They apologized. We were waiting to receive a steak knife to cut our fried chicken they forgot to bring that. Our server was very informative when asked about the restaurant concept and menu. She and the person she was training were very friendly. Food: we applaud the concept and the risk to infuse various cultures into the menu. Portion size for a $5 side of home fries was disappointing we are thinking it was maybe a half of a potato. The menu is diverse and the price point isn't bad. Ambiance: ok, we sat outside. We liked the diversity of customers coming in. Unfortunately this is a one and done for us and not because we are visiting just because we are food critics and know what we like.

I have had a few visits here now, and the most recent visit was on January 12, 2026. At the beginning of each new year, I like to try a place that I have never been to before, so January 1, 2026, was the first time I had come here. My mom was with me. Depending on when you come in general, parking can be limited at times with all the other businesses in this shopping center. Upon first look at the place from the outside, you can see the name and logo pretty easily. It looks similar to other places that happen to be in this same shopping center. We got here around 8 am on that first visit. When we came inside, it wasn't too busy yet, likely due to others probably still sleeping after being up past midnight for the new year. The inside of the place has a modern diner type of vibe, which fits the restaurant well. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server Brooke came over pretty quickly and asked us what we would like to drink. I just do my usual of water with lemon, and my mom had gotten coffee. It would take us a little while to choose since there lots of good items to choose from. When she came back to check again, we were ready this time. I figured I'd get something I don't normally do, so I went for the French Toast Combo with scrambled eggs, bacon, and baked apples. My mom decided to go with the Ultimate Skillet with rye toast. The food would come out pretty quick. It was around ten minutes or so. Both breakfast entrees looked really good and they were hot. It felt like an indulgence when I started on the French toast since it has been a long time since having it. The baked apples were great too, and something else I don't normally have. I will note that I didn't get a blood sugar spike after this meal either that day. My mom enjoyed the Ultimate Skillet as much as I did with the French Toast Combo. After the experience from that first visit, we came back to try the lunch/dinner menu options for dinner that day. This visit was on January 12, 2026. After being seated initially, we moved over to a table since the booths were a bit tight. Kellie was our server on this visit. She asked us what we wanted to have to drink, and I went with water with lemon and my mom went with a coke. After taking some time to look over the menu, we were ready to order. My mom decided not to have too much, so she just went with the Loaded Baked Potato side item. I decided to try the Chipotle Chicken Ciabatta Sandwich with the homemade chips as the side. Just like the last time, it took about ten minutes or so for the food to come out. The sandwich I had was really good, and so were the homemade chips. This time, this meal did spike my blood sugar levels, but it was so good. My mom told me afterwards that the loaded baked potato she had come out cold. It was then that we let the server know, and she asked if she wanted to get it redone. She said no but wanted to take it home instead. The server did take off the cost of that item. It was likely due to it sitting before my sandwich was ready to bring them out together. Mom did get a box to bring it home and had it later that evening, and she said it was good when it was heated up at home too. Overall, we have had a few very good experiences here. The food and service were good, and the issue for my mom was handled well too. That shows they truly care about the experience of the visitors here. Both menus may be just two sides, but there is quite a bit to choose from. I think anyone would find something they would like here. There is one thing I want to note when it comes to paying. There is a 3% surcharge added to the total including taxes if you use a credit card instead of cash. In the end, if you are looking for a diner type of place, this one is worth checking out.

The both of us, well three of us if you count the dog, enjoyed our meals. I went with the doggy-style version of the Chicken n Waffles. This take on the classic dish included: a bacon-infused waffle, fried chicken thigh, sausage gravy, candied bacon, and bourbon maple syrup. Overall, I enjoyed the dish with the small exceptions that the batter made the waffle really heavy for my personal tastes. I'm more of a fan of light, fluffy waffles. Unfortunately, I did not know this at the time, but the kitchen puts the syrup on the waffle for you. Personally, I like to add my own syrup because I do not like too much syrup on my waffles (and pancakes). However, those two minor issues did not take away from the dish. Also, the other aspects of the dish made up for those minor inconveniences. My partner ordered the Pongo, which was served with a fried chicken thigh, cheddar biscuit, scrambled egg, sausage gravy, house potatoes. If you are a fan of Bloody Marys, the restaurant has a selection of 4 or 5 interesting Bloody Marys. I went with the Porky's Revenge, which had bacon-infused vodka, Zing Zang Bloody Mary mix and a bacon-dusted rim. Both of us were quite pleased with our selections. Also, come here hungry because the serving sizes are quite large. Because of the large serving sizes, I thought the prices were relatively fair compared to other places the area. Actually, I would change "fair" to "generous". Both of our dishes were about 17 bucks with the 4ish dollar 'doggy style' add on. Generally speaking, our waitress was really on the ball. Although we were sitting outside, she frequently checked in us and was very professional while being funny. Hopefully, we can make another stop here during our next Va. Beach vacation adventure.
