I ordered online for a 615 pickup. I arrived at the store at 618. There was one person waiting in front of me. About 10 minutes go by, 5 more people come in. Someone finally comes up front. He gave his name, and I gave mine. She says give me a few minutes, takes the 4 people to a table then goes to check her other tables. Finally she brought two bags up. Handed one to the other guy and one to me. He said he was missing two sandwiches. I checked mine and neither burger was correct. I took it back in, it's now almost 7pm and I still don't have my food. This place is beyond ridiculous. Finally received the correct food. The burgers were burnt, not made the way they were all-ordered and the fries were cold. Overall a huge disappointment. read more

Convenient location to have a Ruby Tuesday's as it's right off the main road in between your trip to West Virginia and Maryland (whichever direction you're headed). I'm reading some of the reviews and I'm a bit conflicted as I had a pretty decent experience considering this is a chain restaurant. Hand sanitizer was available upon entry, everyone in the restaurant were wearing masks and socially distanced. I do have to agree with one of their reviewers that their salad bar really shouldn't be opened to the public as that may be a health hazard considering the times. Their bathrooms could use a bit more sprucing up in terms of cleanliness and lighting but other than that it was a pretty solid experience. Food was delicious and fairly priced. read more

Our party of three stopped in while traveling through the area. I had the grilled salmon, rice pilaf and zucchini. My hubby had the rack of ribs with onion rings. My son wanted to have the Philly cheese steak but they were out. So he got the smokehouse burger. Our waitress Stephanie was great. So was our food. I would have gone to the salad bar except for dental work that required soft food. But I could see (and smell) that the salad bar was fresh. Husband and I went in this evening for dinner with our kids. My husband and I ordered the 2/$25 steak dinner medium well. Our steak was sent back three different times due to being under cooked to our liking. The last time it came out was a bit better, but still not how we had ordered. They also cooked us both an additional steak to take home. The shift lead was in the kitchen assisting and even stated that she "checked the steak her self" which I decided to check before leaving, it was still full of blood. I sent it back for the garbage. Our waitress, Nicole B was PHENOMENAL and deserves every bit of praise because she stayed on her toes assisting us, and others as they came in. So it is the case that stopping here on 7 MAR 2020 finally solved the riddle...Does the name Ruby Tuesday have anything to do with the Rolling Stones song. My wife and I have discovered, via the Internets...indeed it is. The name was suggested to the original founders and they went for it. Ruby Tuesday's is the best place to pay $10 for a salad bar. It is actually quite brilliant. Lay out some stuff in a nice mirrored display and we will come. It is not my favorite place but the salad bar is a known, a consistent resource. Good spot but surprised that they have their salad bar opened as it's the first buffet type thing I've seen open anywhere!! Didn't opt to chance the salad bar. The restaurant wasn't crowded, though it was early in the evening. We were spaced out at various tables throughout the restaurant. We ordered drinks and they came very quickly, and then placed our order. I got the 12 oz Ribeye cooked medium with steamed broccoli and tater tots! Dinner arrived very quickly and all of the food was hot and prepared to order. The steak was juicy, done to the correct temperature, and flavorful. The broccoli was good, but a much smaller portion than the tater tots, and I would have preferred more broccoli than tater tots, but it is okay. Was too full for dessert and tempted to take a slice of the deliciously-sounding chocolate cake for dessert, but will just come back another time. I keep going back and regretting it each time. FOOD: The main issue I have had with the food is the portion size. Don't get me wrong I know that it's not a place you go to load up at but when someone orders grilled zucchini.. and gets 4 of them? HOW OFFENSIVE TO A CUSTOMER. This is an excellent restaurant. The Garden Bar is second to none, filled with fresh, tasty fruits and vegetables. The selection is huge. My steak was cooked perfectly and the onion rings delicious. Lunch here was just okay. To be honest, it's one of the only games in town so there aren't many options. And we were a large party, so it was good to make a reservation for our group and not have to worry about waiting during the Sunday post-church rush. I had the ribs and chicken tenders combo ($17). The half-rack of ribs was okay, not amazing, but the chicken tenders were clearly over-fried to the point of being dark (burned) and were way too hard. I was surprised that they'd serve these -- surely someone in the kitchen doing QC noticed this, but then again my dining companion had a complete plate of burned chicken fingers, so maybe that's just the way the serve them. Not great. Kid's meals are mostly around $5 and do not include drink. Salad bar was pretty good, and the pre-meal mini biscuits were delicious. The salad bar at this place gave me food poisoning. I should have known when I saw someone dumping a new container of cottage cheese on top of the old cottage cheese and stirring it in. Everyone else in my group got sandwiches and didn't get sick, fortunately. Warning! The staff seem to be completely unfamiliar with vegetarianism-- we overheard some Indian customers asking if there were any vegetarian items on the menu and the hostess actually thought they were saying their last name was "Vegetarian." This is a place I want to give a better rating to, but just can't. The food is typically good, but the service tends to always be bad. They do have a salad bar which is always good. If they could get better service and make the food more consistent this could of be a good place to eat. It's rarely consistent- we go here very sporadicly and I know why. The place was built around a burger and the three times I've tried to get a decent one it's either a burnt puck or raw. Given the choices I'll take the burnt puck I had tonight. It was the safer bet. I really don't recommend this facility, but if you find it necessary the new updated salad bar was much better these days. We also enjoyed the fries that came with the burnt mini. My wife did not eat her hockey pucks. I told the waitress and I watched her tell the manager. I told her I just think they need to monitor, train repeat, no big deal etc.. In his usual avoidant "I'm just here to watch the salad bar fashion " said manager did not speak to us. I thought an apology would have been in order, but the time I got a raw burger he never even said a word as he took it away to return a crusted piece of carbon. It was the same manager- Waitress was very pleasant and did offer an apology and went right to the manager, but there he sat- I guess he was glad he didn't have to eat it. We are here with a gift card. I honestly wish my mother in law would stop sending gift cards for a place that can't cook a burger. I'll bet at 6pm my burger was very good, but I got there at 8pm. :( Place was clean, waitress did her job. Somebody needs to monitor the kitchen- I seriously doubt it's a chef. "Great Simple American Food". Hmm... interesting tagline. Let's deconstruct this: 1) Great--does this refer to size, quality, or service? Well, this one got a negative trifecta on that. Lousy portions, mostly poor quality, and typical bored teenaged service (which only happened after they got done chatting with their colleagues about the upcoming plans to hang out at Burger King) 2) Simple--Possibly a description of the mental acuity of the cook who created most of these dishes. The steak was putridly overseasoned with god knows what spices, and medium-well seems to mean "dump in fryolater". The consistency was cardboard that's been rendered even more inedible. The mashed potatoes were flavored with some type of fake butter, and a LOT of it. I felt like a tester in some fledgling company's food kitchen. "No, let's try one without so much suck in the taste!" 3) American--what section? Louisiana? Is it attempting to recreate food during or just after Katrina? 4) Food--well, I guess it does qualify as food. I saw several sparrows picking at crumbs in the parking lot, and they happily flew away. As for the salad bar, it was laid out okay, and I didn't get sick. So that's a notch in their favor. And I have to admit, I very much enjoyed the crab cake. It was lumps of crab arranged in a circle to simulate a cake, which is not how I'm used to seeing it, but maybe that's an idiosyncracy of this particular region of Maryland. The sauce they supplied with it was very tasty, and that I would give a "fully satisfied" rating to. Follow the sparrows. Fly away to some other spot. Ok Guys...This is a chain. You aren't going to have the great all awesome meal that you've ever had. Set your expectations right here and you'll have a decent enough meal. The service was a little iffy when we went, frankly, but I think we just got lost in the mix. Once we had someone assigned the service was decent enough. We shared a rib plate, and you know what? It was actually pretty darn good. The meat fell off the bone (which you don't get at some BBQ places even) and the sauce/rub wasn't bad at all. The drinks are VERY weak, but hey...for 5 bucks for any mixed drink...you aren't going to get something amazingly potent. So, if you feel like a drink get one...they're cheap, so you'll get cheap...but my Margarita was tasty...I don't know if it had any liquor in it...but it was tasty regardless =) Because of the issue with service they gave us a free appetizer. We do not visit here often as it is overpriced and a bit overrated. The place was not busy so we got right into a seat. But then things came to slow down. Ordered drinks and an appetizer after waiting for 10 minutes the drinks finally came in about 15 minutes later from that the appetizer came as well. Our food arrived about 20 minutes later to which I ordered more drinks my meal was almost complete before I got my next refill. I do not think you will find the meal that you must have or they are known for though. Servers are nice and never had a bad experience. I frequent the place probably once every two weeks or so. If you are choosing between Applebee's(similar menu) and here...hands down Ruby Tuesday's is the winner. We have eaten at Ruby Tuesday's many, many times and plan on going February 7 to celebrate my birthday. We have had the ribs (best I've had), the chicken, chicken pot pie (no longer available), broccoli (best my daughter has had), steak, salad bar (yummy) and the cheesy garlic rolls. There is always a coupon (bogo 50%), which helps with the costs. The wait staff has always been friendly and attentive. The wait time for the food is minimal. We usually get it before we are done our salads. Quit with the bad reviews. read more

My family and I just left this establishment. The food was very good but the service was well below standard. Being a server myself with 20 plus years under my belt, the customer comes first... Requested biscuits--- never got them!!! Requested a refill on coffee---- never got it!! With meals averaging $20.00 plus each, our bill came to a little over $85.00. I would normally tip 15-20% but due to the servers neglect, I only tipped about 5%. It's a shame because the food was very good but the dining experience wasn't up to standards. read more

The Salad Bar was the only option for vegan diets - the black beans were very good and the mushrooms were very good, but many of the other items had been allowed to have other non-vegan items mixed with them (i.e., customers using spoons for non-vegan dishes and using the same spoons for vegan dishes) - hence, pieces of dairy products in the vegetables; the staff was not attentive to the condition of the salad bar and the salad bar was in this condition for the entire hour we were in the restaurant. The staff was friendly, albeit distracted and non-attentive. The drinks were short-pours and inconsistent in flavour. The table was sticky and the floor needed to be cleaned. This was my second visit; I was trying to give the place another chance. It was a little faster on the service, but the pretzel burgers we ordered were not made correctly. I ordered the portabella mushroom, crispy onion hamburger. The burger had button mushrooms and no crispy onions. I had previously had this burger at another Ruby Tuesday and it was awesome. The employees hanging around were unprofessional. We walked in the place to find one employee laying on the benches on his phone. He did not even bother to get up when we walked in.
