Food and atmosphere is fantastic, very family friendly and a great bourbon selection to enjoy a cigar!

The menu has shrunk, the prices have gone up, the quality of the food has gone down. This used to be one of our favorite places, not anymore.

An old bank turned into a restaurant/bar... one of the coolest concepts I've seen! This used to be an old bank, and they turned it into a very hip and modern restaurant bar. Right when you walk in, you can see all of the old safety deposit boxes along the wall, and it actually feels like you are in a bank! There are picnic like tables all over, and two bar tops: one for food and one for drinks. The decor in here is also pretty cool with TVs everywhere and some artwork on the walls. And the menu even names the drinks and food after 'bank like' things. Very consistent with the theme, and I loved it. To eat, you order at the counter, and then pick up when you get a text. I got the gluten free casa Blanca pizza, mozzarella sticks, and the pen of thieves burger. I thought service was pretty quick and the food was delicious. Good size for bar food. To drink, you do the same thing. Order at the counter but because we got beer, we waited just a second. We tried two light beers, and they both were really good. There is also a huge outside area where they have live music and a food truck. It was pouring when we went, so we didn't go outside, but there were covered parts of you wanted too. This was so cool!

What a cute brewery/restaurant! Inside an old bank where the vault has the cold beer to go! It's just cool to check out it inside and they had lots of seating options. A fun place to grab a drink and/or beer and some food. Great for this tourist and her family who were visiting from out of town. I had a seltzer and a canned rose myself. Both were good. We also ordered chips and salsa for the table. Steven was awesome behind the bar and making drinks and friendly conversation with my very social father in law. I think my only comment is that we went on a weekday afternoon and I wish they had some outdoor games for the kiddos. They were tucked away and out of reach at least one game was so we just walked around outside to get some air.

Amazing venue, amazing beer, and great food as well. Massive beer garden. Huge lawn space covered in tables and Adirondack chairs. Tons of covered patio space as well in case it's raining, you can easily still be outdoors. Would come back for the venue alone! Started with the lemon tea seltzer which was a really weird flavor and aftertaste that made us a bit nervous. Fortunately, as bad as it was, everything else was good. Amazing set of awesome summery beers and a great variety of beers too. Oatally chipped was delicious and a good but only had a small cup or two given it was a stout on a warm day. Conversely, I could've had that blue raspberry seltzer all day long, delicious and light and not overly sweet. Every beer was great. The food was great too - the pizzas are delicious and thin. The buffalo chicken ranch was our favorite. Like i said, thin crust, could eat a whole pizza by yourself so easily, basically tavern style but with some creative toppings. Would totally get it again. Can't wait to return.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The outdoor space alone was a wow, with tons of scenic nooks, table areas, games, and even a cigar & whiskey bar that added a unique vibe. Inside, the experience stayed impressive. The food line moved quickly (which we appreciated), and everything we ordered was outstanding. The guac burger was juicy and piled high with flavor, paired with addictively crunchy kettle chips. My husband's tots were crisp perfection. I had the gluten-free buffalo chicken pizza (no ranch) on a Cali crust, and honestly, it might have been the best GF pizza I've ever had. The sauce-to-crust ratio was spot on. As for the beer, we were overwhelmed (in a good way) with all the great-sounding options. We tried two IPAs on tap and grabbed more to go. The bartenders had a no-nonsense vibe, which came off a bit intense when I asked to sample between two options. They said, "two only then I charge you," which felt a little harsh. But hey, the beer was excellent, and I'd wait in line again for it. We lucked out and arrived on music bingo night (free to play). It was a blast, even though we didn't win. definitely added to the evening's fun energy. Before heading out, we wandered through the outdoor space again. If we lived nearby, this would be our go-to spot. There's just so much to enjoy here. Food, drinks, & incredible atmosphere. Absolutely worth the visit.

A bank-turned-upscale food court - the food here is pretty good. The beers from Side Hustle, however, are FANTASTIC! I sampled several, and they were all A+ brews.

This is an adorably-themed fun brewery right in the heart of HHI! Every area is themed after some component of banking - the bar is the "teller window", the bathrooms are "deposits" and the on-tap brews are "fixed/variable assets". The food is all done through QR Code mobile order which isn't ideal but was done well enough. Paper menus are dying and it's such a shame. The outdoor area itself was adorable, with fire pits, corn hole, live music, and more. Inside you feel like you're in a high-end bank. The cocktail menu is VERY limited but nice. I was told I couldn't substitute fruit flavors in my margarita (even though they had both fruits available) because it "wasn't how it was the menu". So it's technically not an open bar but still very nice.

Hot chic pizza with extra onion and jalapeños and the cross island lager. Both on happy hour special! $10 pizza and $3.50 beer.

What an awesome spot to stop for a cold drink and a bite to eat. Tons of indoor and outdoor seating and a menu that offers something for everyone. The happy hour specials are with $3.50 select drafts and $10 specialty pizzas! Very much enjoyed my experience and hope to return.

This spot was awesome! Great place for a rainy day in Hilton Head. The design is so well thought out and the theming of the bank vault is really cool. Every detail and design was awesome. The staff were super friendly and the food and beer were yummy. Can't wait to visit again!

This brewery was converted from a former bank. A good selection of beers and food available. They have indoor and a great outdoor area to hang out in. Parking on site. Large outdoor screen to watch a game on. Service was quick. Food trucks too...Fun place to hang out on the evening and the kids can run around.

The bank is an old bank turned into a multipurpose space. There's a brewery inside with a bar that serves beers & cocktails. The bar is bank themed with cute signs that say things like "liquid assets" & other bank terminology. There's also a kitchen serving things that are easily reheated such as pizza, hotdogs & pretzels. Outside there's green space for kids to play, a stage, lots of tvs and food trucks. Bathrooms inside. A great place for families to let the kids blow off some steam while the adults enjoy a drink.

We came here for the food and atmosphere. When we visited last year I remember the burger was good but we decided to try something else. The atmosphere was great and we enjoyed the outdoor seating. But the food was sub par. The fish in the fish basket was not good but the fries were great. The pizzas were not great either and I love a thin crust. I put two sauces, red and pesto and they didn't give me any pesto. A wide variety of food you can chose from but I can't say I recommend it. The food did come out fast but the water is self serve and the water cups are tiny so you have to do multiple trips.

The Plantation Golf Club is a superb public golf facility. I absolutely love it…read more The club is located within The Sea Pines Resort on Hilton Head Island. If you aren't a Sea Pines property owner or have a guest pass, it costs $5 for an all-day pass into the resort. The Plantation Golf Club is home to two of Sea Pines' three golf courses: Heron Point by Pete Dye and Atlantic Dunes by Davis Love III. The club is also affiliated with Sea Pines' most famous course, Harbour Town Golf Links. You can book tee times for all three courses at Plantation Golf Club. In the end, everything is a part of Sea Pines. The brand new clubhouse was unveiled in March 2014. Along with a completely new clubhouse, both Heron Point and Atlantic Dunes were redesigned and renovated. These courses were formerly known as the Sea Marsh and Ocean Courses, respectively, but have since been renamed. It's part of a comprehensive overhaul, which has happened over the last several years, to all of Sea Pines' golf properties. Harbour Town's new clubhouse opened one year after Plantation's, in April 2015, and Atlantic Dunes opened in October 2016. All the courses, clubhouses, and facilities are first class. I have or will review the three golf courses separately. This review is more of a brief overview of Heron Point and Atlantic Dunes, the practice range, and the Plantation Golf Club clubhouse and amenities. Heron Point measures 7,035 yards from the tips with a rating/slope of 74.0/140. Atlantic Dunes measures 7,010 yards from the tips with a rating/slope of 74.3/143. Both are fine courses and you can't go wrong with either one. If I had to pick one, I'd go with Atlantic Dunes. Not only is it newer, but it's more scenic and fun to play. If you play Heron Point, bring bug spray. During our recent visit, public rates for Heron Point were $175 per golfer before 12pm and $160 for most tee times after 12pm. For Atlantic Dunes, the rates were $190 per golfer before 12pm and $170 for most tee times after 12pm. Sea Pines property owner rates for both courses were $90 per golfer before 11am and $75 after 11am. Of course, rates can vary depending on a variety of factors like day of the week, time, and season, so check online or call the clubhouse for the latest rates. For example, I saw an $80 tee time for Heron Point on a Sunday after 4pm. In the summertime, finishing 18 holes with a 4pm start is very doable. I think the courses are worth it. They have always been in outstanding shape the times I've played them. When it comes to public course conditioning, this is about as good as it gets. Admittedly, the conditions at Harbour Town are even better, but for most amateur golfers, you're splitting hairs making that comparison. I would venture to guess both Heron Point and Atlantic Dunes are in better shape than a lot, perhaps most, private courses as well. This is the perfect place to introduce new players to the game of golf. Both Heron Point and Atlantic Dunes have six sets of tees. The sixth set of tees, the orange tees, are designed for beginners and kids. From the orange tees, Heron Point measures only 3,677 yards, with no hole longer than 300 yards, and Atlantic Dunes measures 3,924 yards, with only two holes over 300 yards. The practice areas are phenomenal. The club has everything you need to work on your game and everything is in excellent condition, from the huge grass driving range to the multiple short game areas and practice putting greens. Bags of Titleist NXT Tour S range balls are included with every round. There are various golf clinics you can sign up for and you can get personal instruction with a PGA professional as well. They have special facilities, technology, and equipment for instructional use. How sweet would it be to live, and not just vacation, in Sea Pines? I'd be here everyday. The clubhouse is beautiful. You don't see a lot of recently constructed, modern, and elegant clubhouses like this one these days because they simply don't exist. The clubhouse is grand and majestic, but, like Harbour Town's new clubhouse, it's not gaudy nor overdone. The stately and sophisticated architecture and design of the building perfectly complements Sea Pines and surrounding Hilton Head Island. The clubhouse is home to Live Oak, a contemporary Lowcountry-inspired New American restaurant. I think it's one of the best restaurants on the island and I've reviewed it separately. The pro shop is big and filled with all sorts of wonderful merchandise including great gift ideas, golf apparel in the latest styles and trends, and Sea Pines logoed accessories. Complimentary day lockers and showers are available. The spotless men's locker room has an attendant, free snacks, and all the toiletries you could ask for. Customer service is terrific. The staff is great. Note: Along with discounted tee times, Sea Pines property owners also get 10% off all merchandise in the pro shop and food and drink at the restaurant.

A nice gesture would be to wave the entry fee if you are paying the exorbitant green fee. Only saw cart lady once and the rangers were no help. Do yourself a favor. They booked a resort pass at Beach House Hilton Head Island, and it did not disappoint. From the moment we pulled into the parking lot, they knew they had made the right choice. We were greeted by an amazing team of valet attendants who unloaded the car, pulled our wagon all the way to our cabana, and even returned our keys before the end of their shift. That level of service set the tone for the entire day. Once inside, we were welcomed by a friendly, energetic staff of young adults who were eager to help and genuinely wanted to make sure our visit was exceptional. One of the best things about the resort was how close everything was. We loved being able to walk a few steps from our cabana to the beach, then easily head back to the resort whenever we wanted to cool off or grab something to eat. Renting the cabana was absolutely worth it. It gave us the perfect place to relax, enjoy our food, escape the sun for a while, and recharge before heading back out. From walking across the hot sand to dipping in the pool and ending the evening by the water, it was the perfect beach day. And for someone like me, who usually isn't a big fan of spending long periods outdoors, I have to admit this experience completely changed my perspective. Between the beautiful beach, the comfortable cabana, and the outstanding hospitality, I found myself enjoying every minute. I'm already looking forward to going back.

This hotel was certainly not a good example of the Hilton product!! We were originally scheduled to check out on June 11, but we made the decision to leave early due to the horrible condition of the room we were given. Check in was smooth and staff was friendly and welcoming, and the bracelet door key gadget was unique and actually, quite nice. No need to fumble for a key card when entering your room; it was right on your wrist. That is where the good ended. We were told there was only minimal room service - towels to be exchanged, trash emptied and coffee products replaced, etc, but no cleaning. We were okay with that since it was a short stay, at best. As for products in the room, they were decent quality, however, no shower cap was provided, as in done in most hotels. I call the front desk to inquire and the poor young man I spoke to seemed to have no clue whether one was available or not; in fact, I'm not sure he even had a clue what a shower cap was. We opened the door to our room to a terrible musty odor. I am a Floridian and have lived on the beach off and on for over 70 years; I recognize dampness is unavoidable, but this odor was face slamming bad! I lowered the thermostat and the air conditioner finally pulled most of that out. Or we grew accustomed to it! After getting our belongings stashed, I removed my shoes to rest before going to dinner. To my absolute horror, when I stepped on the carpet, it felt damp and gross. It was just awful. We went to dinner, returned and went to bed. Early the next morning, I prepared a cup of coffee with sweetener that was so damp it came out of the packet in clumps rather than a powder. Oh, the shower did have good water pressure and the bathroom was reasonably clean, other than the ton of rust on the door hinges. We enjoyed our time at the Tiki Hut, but the band did more tuning up that playing music. Upon our return to our room, I pulled back the curtain and discovered a huge place of black mold next to the air conditioning unit. It was so bad and had been there so long it had eroded the concrete on the wall next to it. Knowing how bad mold is for your health at any age, especially ours, we made the decision to check out as soon as possible the next day. Disappointed? Yes! Disgusted? You bet! Hilton is a big name in hospitality and I would certainly expect more from their brand than this disgusting place. I wouldn't let my dogs stay here. Sadly, my husband had to make a doctor's appointment today due to a severe cough he has developed since staying in the moldy environment of the Hilton Beach House.

The outdoor component includes several boardwalks, sculptures, a butterfly enclosure, and gardens. It's meant to introduce you to the coastal ecosystem and marsh life, which makes it quite unique. Admission is complimentary and there's a decent amount of parking. The main house and museum (the Discovery House) I would rate a 3.5 out of 5 stars. The volunteers on hand do a good job in welcoming guests and introducing the site so that guests aren't just left to wander on their own. While the permanent exhibits explaining the local area, ecosystem, and history were decent, I felt the more modern artwork was quite underwhelming, with many of the works on display having price tags (leads me to believe it was amateur artwork for sale). It left me wishing the weather was nice so I could explore the grounds, but that wasn't meant to be as there was a downpour of rain outside. If you have free time in Hilton Head, I'd recommend a visit to the Coastal Discovery Museum, but probably moreso when the weather is nice so you can explore the grounds.
