    Sausage Breakfast Burrito

My hubby loved the burrito! The hash browns had a nice crisp & he loved the salsa. (For someone who only likes homemade salsa) I had the Hawaiian French toast combo I thought it was a good sweet and nice texture. The server we had was great, very attentive. The inside was nice. Had a chill host at the front (shown in picture) 10/10 would be back again.

First of all, the service and the staff here are just wonderful. They are very friendly and good at checking on customers. The space is really inviting and has a local feel to it. Lots of tables and seatings, also has outdoor seatings too. Plenty of parking and easy to get in and out of the area. For the food, I really enjoy the options available and its competitive pricing. I do have to say that their food is slightly on the sweeter side for me. We got the grinders bowl and the sauce was a bit too sweet for my taste. The macaroni salad was excellent and rice was so fluffy and soft. The salad is just ok but it's a good start. Portion was large but not as big compared to other Hawaiian places. I'm surprised they don't have chicken or pork katsu on the menu. The sweet bread toast was also delicious.

Solid comfort food tucked away in south Torrance. Service is prompt and friendly. Coffee is good, not watered down like many places. Ambiance is beachy/chill. Located in the same shopping center as Sprouts and H-Mart off PCH & Anza.

Let me premise my review with saying that had I received my correct order, I think it would've been a five star. I ordered the sausage burrito and was given a bacon one. While seemingly not a big deal, it was a bummer to pay for and eat a meal I hadn't ordered, and by the time the waitress came out to check on our food it didn't seem worth saying anything. However, I do think the food here is quality. It seems they have a lot of authentic Hawaiian food, and the prices are pretty normal. I really enjoyed their salsa which seemed to be really fresh and authentic. The servers were nice and the food was good. I'd really like to come back and try something I'd prefer over the bacon burrito!

after always admiring the Facebook posts, i decided to finally review! We have eaten here since they were at the previous location and eat here every time we come back down to visit. on our way home from our last disneyland trip we stopped for breakfast, which is our usual for on the way home. Unfortunately i don't even renew that breakfast or even taking the attached picture. Sometime during the trip i had contracted meningitis and wound up in a coma and on a vent. I'm not saying this as a poor me, but as a thank you for good memories of all of those going home bread stops and more to come in the future! i was hoping to be well enough to return this year, but am not quite ready yet. so if menengitis can't keep me from the teriyaki sauce, it must be good! PS love the employees, atmosphere, and everything about them

I suppose I should have read the reviews more. Or paid attention to the fact that breakfast items loom large on the menu. This is mainly a breakfast place. I ordered a Teri plate lunch ... the most basic of the building blocks for any Hawaiian restaurant. The side salad, while a nice idea, was so sad. Iceberg lettuce, sort of chopped, and about half a tomato swimming in a sea of sauce. The chicken was small chunks of tasteless cubes with a side of teriyaki sauce. The noodles were fascinating, never had that style served this way The restaurant was also cash only. Fortunately, I'm a boomer and carry cash.... My grown kids, however, aren't sure what paper money is. There are sooo many good Hawaiian restaurants in the South Bay. I can really recommend this one.

Great staff! My friend and I stopped into this great shop in Lomita and had a fabulous meal. I love the way they do their poke - you get to pick TWO flavors of meat! How fun! It was all fresh, good selection of ingredients and the taste in the Crunchy Tuna Garlic was superb! We also loved the Spicy Salmon Mayo. I'm a huge tocino fan so when I saw it on their menu I had to get it! I was surprised it came with two fried eggs and was a nice, big portion. We also had to try their Crispy Masubi and this was fantastic. I've had many deep fried masubi versions and this was much nicer than those. This was the best breaded type of masubi I've had. Absolutely loved it and would get it again in a second. Overall, fabulous meal at Poke & More that I would go back for.

I don't trust places that have large menus because it screams "jack-of-all trades, master of none." How do you serve fresh poke while being ready to fire up a Hawaiian bbq mix plate? Parking can be challenging depending on when you go as they share a plaza. I sort of stopped going here a few months ago after they discontinued their Saturday special of buy one pound of poke, get one pound free. That deal definitely made it more worthwhile. Without that promo, the other local poke places outshine this place.

Torrance Food Crawl #442…read more Ali'i Hawaiian Grill offers a minimalist approach with a simple menu that has a limited selection. For the Poke bowls, select your bowl size, pick two from the four or so fish choices, a base (rice or salad), and for most bowls a side or two. After several visits, my experience has been fine each time. Good quality fish and fresh sides. There are also some plate options where you can select Huli Chicken or Kalua Pork. I've tried both the chicken and pork (though not on the plate option), and both were excellent. This location used to be strictly take-out, but now there are two tables inside if you'd like to sit inside. I feel compelled to mention that when I recently visited this location, they had a health grade of B from LA County displayed in the window. Yelp shows that they had 14 health code violations on September 18. Usually, I don't show too much concern for these health scores, but when a restaurant's primary product is raw fish, a lower score gets my attention.

I was a fan of their El Segundo location but I believe it is gone. This place had about 5 or 6 different fresh poke styles available during our visit. We tried the Hawaiian, the Creamy Garlic Crunch, and the Sweet and Spicy. We also ordered the Chips and Smoked Ahi Dip, and the Huli Chicken Bowl. I think I loved everything. The Creamy Garlic Crunch poke was especially amazing. It had a slight spicy kick to it and it was rich and delicious. The chips that came with the dip were obviously freshly-made wontons and I could have eaten a hundred of them. The dip was good but not as flavorful as I had hoped or had in the past. For the chicken bowl, the rice and cucumbers that came with the chicken were excellent. You get a ton of mac salad and it is excellent. The chicken was solid, too. Unless they are hiding in plain sight, the places that just sell fresh poke, without the bowl, are few and far between in Southern California. I love poke bowls, too, but sometimes the poke by itself (with the different sauces and seasoning) is just incredible. This spot serves delicious fresh poke and I will always be a fan.
