    Breakfast burrito and home fries
    Rebecca T.

Eat at Rudy's is an old-school, no-frills diner that serves breakfast and lunch. The food is simple, but tasty, as I enjoyed my breakfast burrito and home fries. Service was super nice, too, even when I just went in to pick up my order. Unfortunately, as yummy as the food was, my spouse and mother-in-law got horribly sick from the patty melt and tuna melt. It's a shame that it happened, as we wanted to like the establishment. Sadly, that put us off from coming back.

Tons of specials plus regular menu. Feels like going to an aunty & uncles house for a home cook meal. Super fast service. Delicious green sauce. Homemade. Super super friendly Love Ms Jean!!

Chicken fried steak like grandma used to make

Comfort foods at its finest. Chicken fried steak for the win. Just the way grandma used to make it & seasoned well. Gravy is flavorful & has a great consistency & REAL mashed potatoes & steamed veggies. Happy tummy. Indoor & outdoor seating for breakfast & lunch. Walking distance from American Tire if you're having work done.

Eat at Rudy's is a cute breakfast nook in Old Town Torrance. I'm not sure how busy it gets during the weekends, but I was fortunate enough to try Eat at Rudy's on a weekday. I just had a brunch here and it's one of those hidden gems that makes you remember that the food in SoCal is the best. I got their pancake sandwich (2 hot cakes, 2 sausages and 2 eggs) and my +1 had their international omelette special with hash. For something so simple, it was amazingly delicious! Portions are large and we needed to ask for a togo box. Hospitality is great here too. For our visit, there was one cook at the open kitchen and two very friendly servers at the restaurant. It was only us and 2-3 other group/couples at Rudy's. Food came out quick and hot. Server checked up on us and refilled my coffee whenever I ran low. Eat at Rudy's is on my highly recommend list for Torrance.

We walked to downtown Torrance to shop at the Antique Fair but had to stop at Rudy's for breakfast. After a short wait we were seated and they were very busy. The guy who seated us also fills the drink orders and buses the tables. He was so accommodating and filling everyone's drinks. I ordered the senior special C which is a slice of French toast,an egg and bacon. All for 9.99....what a deal! Hubby had the regular French toast and multiple cups of coffee. This place is a gem. Great diner homemade food with generous portions. Service is great too.

Got the mushroom cheese omelette with bacon. Really good. It comes with a large slab of tasty hash browns. The coffee was hot and a nice medium roast. Service was very friendly. Seating is available inside the restaurant and also there are tables outside along the sidewalk.

My go to spot for breakfast/brunch for their house made Corned Beef Hash. I like it extra well done for some crispy comfort. The slab of goodness was over a 1/2" thick. Very homey vibe. The staff are wonderful.

Tuna Melt Supreme (with a bite)

Forgot my lunch this morning on the kitchen counter, so decided to check out a local Torrance banger. I'm not your typical tuna melt gal but the Eat at Rudy's Tuna Melt Supreme sounded too good to pass up. Tuna salad mixed with bacon, avocado, mayo, pepper, and celery slapped between two lightly buttered and toasted slices of white bread and melted cheese hit the spot. The ambience is super casual, and there's outdoor seating (I got my order to go so strictly observations here). The staff were also very friendly. I like my bread toasted a little more but nonetheless, it was a solid sandwich.

    Rambo Breakfast

My 2nd visit to Eat at Rudy's and again they didn't disappoint. I ordered my food to go like this and last time because I was eating alone. I got the Rambo breakfast under the "hot off the griddle" section of the menu. It's basically a French toast breakfast with eggs and your choice of protein, I got bacon. The food was great, no complaints. The service, even better. The nice lady say who took my order is super kind and sweet, she call you "honey" to death and it's endearing lol For those who have not yet tried Eat at Rudy's I highly recommend.

    "Breakfast Burrito" with Mozzarella Cheese

The service here was spectacular! This restaurant has shaded outdoor seating, perfect for Saturday breakfast with the family. I ordered the breakfast burrito and Wow! The portions are truly generous and even if they weren't the flavor is incredibly yummy! I ordered a chocolate milk as well and the mixture was delectable. This is a Wayne Classic! Would come again - Wayne W.

We all really enjoyed our meal, we're excited to come back soon and try more dishes. The laid back neighborhood atmosphere was very comfortable. The customer service was great, everyone was friendly and checking if we needed anything. This will be a regular spot for us, so many delicious looking dishes to try. The street parking is good and a back lot parking.

The restaurant is beautiful, elegant and intimate without feeling overly fancy. But the FOOD! Absolutely delicious. Everything we had was so good. And another pleasant surprise was the price.
