The texture and flavor reminded me more of an instant or prepared cheesecake-style dessert than the rich, slightly tangy cream-cheese flavor I personally associate with cheesecake. I also couldn't really detect much blackberry flavor or fruit in it. I don't necessarily need blackberry seeds, but I would have enjoyed some blackberry pulp, small pieces, or a stronger real-fruit flavor. There was also a piped topping on the cheesecake that I expected to taste like whipped cream, but to me it tasted more like a prepared frosting. Again, that's simply how it tasted to me and others may absolutely prefer this sweeter, smoother style. My biggest disappointment was really the overall first-time experience.
