You can be a member or if you're not you would need a password to get in which is on their website and it does change every month. They feature live music which was awesome and food and drinks were kinda on the pricy side but worth it for the experience here. Ambiance is amazing super old school. Love that even the barbers in the front blend into the bar look. It's self seating so if they're busy it's def hard to find a spot. Cover charge of $10 for nonmembers, and they have plenty of seating indoor and outdoor and the members only section . I decided to give The Bearded Barber a shot, and I'm so glad I did. Rio matched me with Allie, who is an extremely precise and attentive barber. Low light intimate setting throughout with several different seating options. You can choose between lounge couches. Small table height settings, or a traditional bar arrangement. Above average bourbon and whiskey choices, a great selection of mezcals, and a respectable tequila list. The mixed drink menu was unique and obscure. There were several flavor options. Their mixed drink skills were top notch, but they lacked a real connection or social chemistry with their customer base. The live music was another intimate touch. We did find it hard to communication with the staff over the music during our stay. Reservations are only acceptable in parties of 10-or more. The exits is not easy to find, and most likely will need directions from the staff. read more

Ok so I tried this place for the first time this past weekend and truly enjoyed it. I'm a big history buff and love the Americana 1920s Speakeasy motif. It wasn't just a haircut or a beard trim but a true experience. I highly recommend after getting a trim to check out the speakeasy itself. Had a very nice night at the Bearded Barber! I'm glad that Anthem has this great little spot now since there isn't much night life in this town. It is a speakeasy so you need to go to their website and request the password in order to get in to the bar area, otherwise you're just at a regular barber shop. Overall great ambiance, great food and great drinks. Our waiter was very friendly and the whole staff seemed on task and helpful. There was live jazz guitar while we were there and it was a great environment. I liked the added speakeasy type vibes with the separate exit door, the patio for cigars, and the decor inside. Improvements: Service was quite slow, maybe they're still staffing up since it's new. More knowledge on the menu from the waiter. Specifically on cocktails and whiskey/scotch options. Could bear to be a bit darker in there, past speakeasies I've been to have that dark lighting to give that feel of anonymity. Definitely still worth checking out though! read more

This place has such a cool vibe. The decor is unique and gorgeous. We came in midweek with family from out of town for the final hour of happy hour. I believe there was one other occupied table when we got there and unfortunately we were only able to get one round of drinks served in that hour timeframe. We ordered four appetizers and the sliders. The featured burrata appetizer, which was meh, ending up being twice the cost of the appetizers listed on the menu. Brussels sprouts were awesome. Food service was definitely on the slow side as well. No other happy hour pricing was honored on the bill for food. It just irks me as someone in the hospitality/ restaurant industry when service is lacking and online promoted pricing isn't honored. Wow! This place is both refined and FUN. The decor mimics a well turned out speakeasy from the 1920's, when it was illegal to sell alcohol. It's a 'secret' - there's no sign, just a barbershop front. Go online and get the password/phrase for the Bearded Barber, Anthem. Food - great, except for meatballs, normally my favorite app. Service excellent - hostess, kitchen, bartender all teaming up so our gracious server, Leslie could be proud of her wares. Great concept (Barber/Speakeasy) it's for a hair cut or just drinks. Came here when the place first opened Sept. 2022 and they were still working on a few things. The secret password and unique food options were a few things that stood out. Came back Last Wednesday with friends and had a good time again. Food has changed a bit but was all still great. I do have to say I missed the way you use to go to the Speakeasy by a password to the barber then would push a button to open door now its just a phone on the wall. That felt like you were really sneaking into a bar. One thing that does need improvement is the Drink pours. We had 3 wine drinkers and the pours were only 4-5oz 2 of us had Old Fashions and maybe the glass was a 1/4th full with 2 Ice cubes to boot. These were not Happy Hour drinks and at $13-$17 per drink there should be better pours. I wanted another Old Fashion but had to switch to a domestic beer if I wanted to get what I paid for.
