I recently visited The Bears' Den, and honestly... it landed right in the middle for me. I had been here years ago, and walking back in felt like stepping into the exact same place nothing really changed. The theme is still very much intact, though. If you're a hockey fan, especially a Hershey Bears fan, you'll probably love the atmosphere. It's designed to feel like a mini arena banners hanging from the ceiling, jerseys framed on the walls, big screens behind the bar, and an overall sports bar vibe that leans heavily into Hershey hockey history. The space itself isn't huge, but it's a decent size and works well for families or casual groups. There's also a small arcade area, which sounds fun... until you realize it runs on the same card system Hershey uses everywhere. You have to load money onto a card at a machine, and (shocker) you can't get that money back out. It's convenient in theory, but it definitely feels like one of those "your money lives here now" situations. Now, the food. It wasn't bad... but it also wasn't good. Everything sounded great on the menu, but what came out was just... average. We ordered burgers, and they were fine. Not memorable, not exciting just food. The kind you eat and immediately forget about. Pricing was exactly what you'd expect for a Hershey property on the higher side for what you're getting. For four of us, the bill was around $70 before tip (and that's without anything over the top). So here's the bottom line: * Cool theme * Family-friendly * Food worth coming back for Would I go back? Probably not. There are too many better spots nearby where the food actually matches the price and hype.

Went a few times during our visit to Hershey Lodge and we were pleased with both the service and the food. It's definitely bar food so go elsewhere for a fine-dining experience, but you'll be given good food at a fair price in a lively sports atmosphere. We enjoyed our service and the nachos were solid- add chicken or beef for a stand alone meal or share with friends. There were no complaints and we had most of the menu over two visits. Bartender and table service were friendly and thorough. Go with confidence.

Pretty good bar for a hotel. Total sports bar vibe, which I guess makes sense. Now that I think about it, why a hockey bar? Is Hershey part owner? Service was good. The people were friendly and did not cut us off or throw us out. That's was really rad of them, LOL. There was absolutely reason, I would say, so kudos for being cool! The place closed way too early for our needs. We do however like to party a bit when we are all together. We usually want people to just break the rules for us and are heavily persuasive as a group. You would probably be surprised how many times we are successful in being total asshats and getting our way. A bar full of salespeople can be difficult to manage if you are not skilled. In hindsight, they probably were totally ready for us to leave. It's bright inside and there are TV's everywhere. Those TV's make for a chaotic environment with all of the movement, but hey, that's just me and my weird brain problems. The food is mediocre and run of the mill, but absorbs alcohol fairly well. Nothing to write home about, but not bad enough not to write about it here. It does the trick when it's needed, just don't come here sober. That's really all I have to say about that... I betcha I get back here one day. Until then, stay Golden! '26 - 4

Came here after our awards dinner for more drinks. The staff didn't seem excited with our large group. Bar could have been a little cleaner.

The theme is great, love hockey, the food came out fast, in like 10 minutes but my burger was cold and so were the fries , telling me it was not cooked fresh , it was also dry with little to no flavor

Pretty decent steak salad and good sized kids meals! Nachos pretty tasty too 25 min wait on a Saturday eve but expected for a Hershey lodge dinner on Labor Day weekend

Overall, solid experience here! I grabbed dinner here by myself on a Sunday night. Loved the convenience of the location (as I was staying at the Lodge). For my solo dinner I ordered the cranberry chicken salad wrap with fries. It was pretty good. Not groundbreaking by any means, but it was exactly as expected. Service was pretty good. Zero complaints. Menu is your very typical American bar food - burgers, salads, sandwiches, and some pasta dishes. Prices, I feel, are a tad steep for what it is, but consider the location.... Everything's more expensive.

We were famished by the time we got here so I didn't take any pics but I have to say, this was a great late night meal! Kids menu was perfect and the dessert menu was **chefs kiss!** even options for my hubby who is not a chocolate eater (I know, crazy!) Our food came super fast, with some mistakes but the waitstaff was very quick to fix it and everyone working there was super sweet! It's very casual inside so come prepared to be noisy and eat! I'd definitely go back for another meal!

I love how convenient it is to take advantage of a variety of dining options at Hershey Lodge. The Bear's Den is cool casual dining with an array of bar food choices. I had the cheesesteak egg rolls as a starter. They were pretty good. They would have been great if there were diced peppers and onions in them. The fish and chips dish that I had as my main entrée was a pleasing selection as well. I demolished the fries a little to fast to not be a little embarrassed and the fish filet was a sizable and substantial portion albeit a little greasy. I would come back for the opportunity to try more dishes. It was about an hour until close when my friend and I arrived and the server was noticeable put upon but she handled it like a trooper.

The sandwich was stuffed full and even without sides I had plenty of food! The restaurant was pretty quiet but is laid back and you could definitely bring the whole family. Service was a little slow but everyone was very nice. I recommend Primanti Bros if you're looking for a unique filling meal!

Unfortunately, because I was not given the opportunity to do so, I feel I have no alternative but to share our experience. We decided to give Primanti Bros. in Hershey a try for lunch today, but unfortunately, we never even made it to ordering. From the moment we walked in, the young blonde hostess was unwelcoming and incredibly short with us. There was no greeting. She asked if we needed children's menus, and when I said we needed two, her response was simply that she only had one. There was no offer to get another one or even a friendly acknowledgment. We asked to sit outside, and she took us to a table in the direct sun, put the menus down, and walked away without saying anything. We asked if we could sit at another table that was outside but shaded. We were told no because it hadn't been wiped off yet and was dirty. Rather than offering to have it cleaned, she pointed us toward another table and walked away. Throughout the interaction, she was short, rolled her eyes, and made us feel like we were an inconvenience rather than guests. At that point, we decided to leave. What was even more disappointing was what happened when I called immediately afterward. I specifically asked to speak with a manager because I wanted to give management the opportunity to address the situation directly rather than post a negative review. The same hostess apparently answered the phone and refused to put me through to a manager unless I first told her what the call was about. When I said I preferred to discuss the matter directly with the manager, she asked, "Are you the one who just walked out of here that I was trying to seat?" She told me the manager, April, would not be available for at least an hour, but continued to insist that I could not speak with her unless I first explained the situation to the hostess. We are local and had decided to give Primanti Bros. a try, but after this experience, we won't be returning. We ended up going across the street to The Grill instead, which was wonderful. What is most frustrating is that this entire situation could have been handled with a little kindness and basic customer service. And even after the poor experience, I was willing to address it privately and give management an opportunity to respond. Unfortunately, I wasn't given that opportunity. A hostess is often the first impression of a restaurant, and unfortunately, ours was bad enough that we chose to walk out before we ever ordered. I genuinely hope management sees this review and uses it as an opportunity to address how guests are welcomed and how concerns are handled.

We've eaten here a few times before and have always had great meals, so we wanted to bring our friends to experience this hidden gem. I made a 5:00 p.m. reservation, and we arrived right on time. We were seated a few minutes early, which was a nice start to the evening. Our server greeted us promptly with water and then returned to take our drink order. My wife ordered the Dragon Fruit cocktail, I had the Rye Old Fashioned, and our friends enjoyed the Watermelon Refresher and the Black Walnut Old Fashioned. For dinner, our friends ordered the salmon and the burger with fries. My wife and I shared the Green Goddess Salad and the Korean BBQ Short Ribs. When our meals arrived, everything looked absolutely amazing. We all dug in, and every dish lived up to the presentation. Our friends said the salmon was fabulous, and the burger was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The Green Goddess Salad was fresh and delicious, but the star of the evening was definitely the Korean BBQ Short Ribs. They were incredibly tender, packed with flavor, and simply OMG good! Even though we were all full, we couldn't pass up dessert. We shared the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake, and it was the perfect ending to an outstanding meal. From the drinks and food to the friendly service and atmosphere, Hidden Still Spirits continues to impress us. We're glad we brought our friends here, and they were just as impressed as we have been on our previous visits. We'll definitely be back again!
