We booked about a week out so I was thrilled that they were able to accommodate our party of 7. Upon arrival we were greeted in the cute little lobby, escorted to the lounge area and given our choice of mimosas or regular beverage. We were shown a small room that had a bag, robe and slipper with our names on it for us to change into. Once we were changed we got to sit and enjoy each other's company in a cozy little lounge area until the missuses came to get us two by two. The massage was AMAZING and definitely worth the drive we had to take to get there. When I tell you I had to tell her in the middle of my massage "I don't know what it is your doing, but that feels amazing!" believe me!!!!!!! -- because whew chile!!!! She loosened up my back in a way I had yet to experience. We received 60 minute massages and then headed back into the lounge area to receive our foot soaks while two other people in our party were escorted into the massage rooms. That water, those rocks, and moisturizing oils felt so good y'all. Oh Em Gee! And someone came in and refilled it every time it thought about getting warm. Another thing I really liked was the cute little charcuterie-like board they offered us during the foot soak (oranges, cheese, crackers, chocolate). I wish it had more variety on it, but it was a nice touch to us relaxing. We were there for maybe 2 1/2 hours and it costed $150 pp. I tipped $30 because the massage was so good, so all in all I paid about $180. WELL WORTH THE PRICE!!! I definitely plan to return. May bring my husband or my Mom. Thank you Megan for not only accommodating us, but for the top tier service for both you and your staff. I'll definitely be back.... and plan to tell others about it.

Been to physical therapy several times and I know all the stretches and exercises. I had a massage with Lisa that was just amazing. She has magic hands (and elbows). I've never been the type to do this but it felt good. Not only did it alleviate my physical pain but mostly helped me understand that a great massage can truly help. I finally tried the lash and brow tinting and I am happy to say, and not at all surpised, that my eyes are popping!! I can't use eye make-up because of having Multiple/ Hyper Chemical Sensitivity and have been hesitant to try tinting for that reason. Super glad I finally decided to go for it; it was such an easy process and so relaxing! My eyes and skin did not have any adverse reaction whatsoever. Two weeks later and my lashes and brows still look great! Definitely adding these two services to my regular list! I do have a few things I wish they could improve on: *Having a couple designated parking spots in front for the spa would be nice. I usually have to park super far away and the parking lot gets a little chaotic because of the gym. *I wish they would ask me if I want to rebook before I leave! My group of 3 has tried to set up spa days at Asante multiple times, and it is always very difficult to schedule. Asante just does not have the ability to accommodate groups. The spa manager, Tracy, is rude and unpleasant to deal with on the phone. We kept going to Asante, because the massages and facials were always great. Our last visit was the final straw. We had two derma plane facials and one massage scheduled. Tracy had to call to change the time of our spa services because they had an esthetician leave and had to schedule one facial with a new esthetician. The facial type was NEVER mentioned during this call, only the time change. When we arrived on the day of our spa services, the esthetician was not certified to do a derma plane facial. This was a surprise to us, and when questioned the esthetician brought in Tracy, the spa manager, to help figure it out. Tracy came into the room with a very negative attitude right away. She insisted she did tell us about the facial type changing during the phone call. She was unnecessarily aggressive and rude. She offered no apologies or willingness to figure out the situation; she simply wanted to argue that we were told about the change. A different type of facial was not a huge problem; we were just surprised about the change and had never been informed. The esthetician provided great service and was apologetic over the situation. When we were ready to pay, Tracy was at the desk. She did end up giving the facial free. Again, she was not friendly, or apologetic. Her exact words were "I'm not going to make you pay for a service you didn't want," with the same aggressive tone. Tracy's approach to the situation was just bad overall. Tracy is not someone who should be the face of a high-end spa like Asante. She has really given us a negative impression of Asante.

This place can be a little difficult to find at first, despite both of us living in Folsom we hadn't seen the place before. It is off the street and in the same offices as State Farm where you will see the small Kismet sign in the window. The spa is immediately to the right when walking in and has a cute waiting area. For the girls day they offered us mimosas while we waited. I got my brows waxed by Emma and she listened diligently to what I wanted with my fine brows, she gave me the arch of my brow dreams! She suggested I look into microblading and I asked her many questions that she expertly answered. 5/5 experience from Emma! Now....Lemme tell you about the spray tan baby!! This was an amazing part of my day and even my week because it was so awesome. While I am naturally pretty tan I need that extra glow from time to time! I usually do VersaSpa at Face and Body Emporium but I have never had someone actually spray me. Megan made me feel very comfortable and I asked her about her experience tanning plus size bodies and she assured me she had all the right poses for me. Keeping it real, this is something I always wondered when thinking about going to a person versus doing it myself or in the VersaSpa. I wanted the tan line so I wore cute bottoms for the tan. I asked her to go as dark as we could, I went with the tan that gradually gets darker over time versus the makeup "boost" tan. She also asked if I wanted to do my face which was great as I generally don't like to tan my face, a personal preference through my own spray tan experience. Ladies and gentlemen....this was the best experience I could have and 100% am returning to my new addiction! 5/5 for my new habit... To end this beauty day with a bang I have included my before and after makeup shots. Hazel was very professional and we chatted while she made me over. I asked for drama and she delivered! I have never had such a pretty new look before. Like most women I have the same makeup routine and never thought I could pull off winged liner or big lashes like she gave me but now that she showed me the way I can't go back! I have been trying to recreate the look myself but need to practice more. Luckily Hazel teaches a makeup class where you bring in your makeup and she shows you how to utilize your own products to bring out your best looks. I love the work she did, truly a work of art. She really takes the time to get to know you and your skin, your skin care regimen, and the results you are going for. Since it's been a long time since my last real peel (just facials and enzyme masks with others, home chemical peels) we set up a six month plan for flawless skin by my wedding day. I needed some major work since I lost track of Katherine 3 years ago and my cystic acne, large pores, hyper pigmentation, and scarring (I like to pick) is full force. I still get complemented on my skin even now because when we separated, it looked like a baby's butt (in a good way). To start, we chose needling which includes a machine that pokes you with 36 gauge needles very quickly. To minimize discomfort, lidocaine gel is use and you wait for 40 minutes for it to kick in before the procedure. Not any worse than microdermabrasion except it was pretty uncomfortable around the eyes and a bit of a burning sensation in the areas she worked deeper on (pitted, scarred areas). The idea is that collagen will be formed in its place. I'll do a peel, then microdermabrasion, and needling again, coming once a month. I love not having to worry about cleanliness when Katherine is working on me. Being a nurse, I see the worst case scenario if items are not properly handled. Nobody needs flesh eating bacteria on their face. I never second guess her and love her magic fingers. She isn't pushy about products, but I've found hers to be the best with high quality ingredients that make a huge difference in healing. I can sometimes find them on amazon but with her, you know it isn't a knock off or expired goods, so you get the most bang for your buck. You get what you pay for and I'm happy with people telling me I look a decade younger than I am. It'll come in handy as I age. I plan on supplementing with facial fillers in the future to minimize the jowls that run in my family as you age.

Had a terrible couples massage experience…read more First off, we arrived early, there wasn't a receptionist, and our 90 minute massage started late and finished on time. During the massage a worker came in and interrupted our services to talk to our masseuses, which was very professional. Also during the massage, my masseuse left the room. I added on foot reflexology, and she wore gloves, which was incredibly loud and uncomfortable. I have never had a massage where gloves were worn! I would understand if someone had disgusting feet, but my feet are pedicured and beautifully groomed. Not only was that a very uncomfortable way to end a 90 minute massage, the massage itself was terrible. She used no pressure, felt rushed through, and mostly used her forearm to rub my body. Lastly, the checkout experience was also uncomfortable. She told me the amount to leave for tip!! I will never come back here, and I'm very upset to have wasted money here for a massage that I was truly looking forward to after working 12hr shifts at the hospital.

I'm not sure if that's standard practice, but it did feel a little awkward. After that, she was taken back, followed by my mom for her facial, while the rest of us waited for our massages. Two of us were placed in a couples room, which we didn't mind, but it might be something to mention or confirm with guests ahead of time. The massage itself was okay, though different from what I've experienced before. At one point, the masseuse moved the table while I was on it, and during the session, the other masseuse left the room and left the door open, which made it easy to hear noise from outside. That took away from the relaxation a bit. I also tried cupping for the first time, and that part was actually a highlight--I really enjoyed it. Overall, the services were decent for the price.
