So I ordered 2 colors of your lip gloss only to be told that I would only be receiving one color that I chose and one color that you were choosing for me. When I asked if I could exchange the color that you chose if it was not to my liking (if it had been, I would have picked the color) you informed me that I could do nothing but be happy with what you sent me. So all in all, I guess that from your perspective, I should be happy? What I am happy about is that I will not be using your services and I pray that others will read my reviews and do the same. I guess I should thank you for the lip gloss, at least the one color that I chose. A refund would have been ideal but being that it is not your policy then what more can I do? Actually, the most simple way that this entire fiasco could have been avoided would have been if you stood behind your customer service and offered a retrial without me flying to Florida from Phoenix and did the retrial without recharging me. As for being in a hurry....your staff arrived at my hotel about 15 minutes earlier than the scheduled time of 6 am and I did have an appt with the floral person at Disney scheduled for 930am. I was told to allow 2 hours for the appt with your company so after 3.5 hours I would not describe my need to attend my 930am appt with my florist as rushing anyone. I had confirmed with your company prior to scheduling the 930 am appt with the florist whether I would be able to attend the 930 am appt and was told yes, that is the only reason that I scheduled the appt when I did. So, continue to blame me as a paying customer for the failure and shortcomings of your establishment. At least you have documented here in yelp how ridiculous your company is and how quick you are to deny acceptance that your company did a terrible job and want to blame me, the bride and paying client. Shame on you Beaute Speciale...at least now other brides can read how poorly you respond to a dissatisfied client. On the wedding day, we had Gia and Robin, and they were absolutely fantastic. They arrived very prepared--even bringing extra lighting and extension cords. They were calm, professional, and genuinely pleasant to be around. Exactly the kind of energy you want on your wedding morning. Gia did my hair and makeup plus three additional hair services, and Robin handled six other makeup services. Everyone--including our moms--was thrilled with how they looked. My mom even mentioned it again the day after the wedding, which really says a lot. Gia truly listened to me. I talked through everything: my uneven eyelids (lol), bald spots along my hairline, inspiration photos, likes and dislikes, and my history of sensitive eyes with false lashes (usually they start poking out of my eyelids by the end of the night when done by other makeup artists). Gia had a solution for everything. She modified the placement/sizing of the false lashes, used a color filler for the bald spots, and chose a latex-based lash glue for extra strength (my lashes stayed perfectly intact all night--even after happy tears!). When my under-eye area began to crease, Gia not only adjusted the makeup but also applied a special serum to help keep it smooth. The result was lovely, comfortable, and lasted all night. I am so grateful for Gia and Robin--they are talented, thoughtful, and truly care about their clients. Lucky for us, they are grossly undercharging for their services, as the sisterhood and sheer talent they possess alone should and could easily cost double what they are asking. I decided against a trial, partly because I had no time for one, but also because I just felt somewhere deep down I could trust them without even meeting them. Their work online and word of mouth referrals were exceptional enough for me to feel safe essentially winging it day of. Everyone's hair and makeup stayed completely in tact throughout 90 degree heat and Florida humidity for a 4:30pm outdoor ceremony and good old partying after. My face is so oily and acne prone and my scalp sweats like a sinner in church, but there was not a drop of wetness on my head anywhere and nothing slid or moved, even when my dogs accidentally licked me not a drop of makeup was wiped away. Laura herself was sent here direct from heaven. She entertained and chatted with my mom for hours, was a Jeopardy board of fun facts and cool stories, and made every girl feel so beautiful and special. Not only did she give me a 10 minute head massage that I think relieved 40 years of tension from my 29 year old body, she also made me feel so loved and listened to. My one hiccup- the week before my wedding, I reached out a few times just to confirm what time the hair/makeup artists would arrive, if they needed any pics of the type of hair/makeup I wanted, etc but didn't get a response until I called and left a few VMs the day before my wedding. The owner called me in the afternoon after I had called and it was all sorted out, but a bit of a scare the day before. Know they are in high demand/busy with all sorts of events but just a simple reply email would've saved me a lot of sweating/stressing! And the day of- the artists came promptly at 4:20am, took one look at a few sample pictures I had, and made me look amazing. Quite simply, I felt like Cinderalla transforming- the artists were so quick and efficient and within an hour, I had my perfect wedding day hair and makeup. The reviews were great so I figured what the heck. When I arrived I was greeted right away and given paperwork to fill out. I was then escorted to a room where the technician put on the numbing cream and the waiting time began. The cream takes about 30-45 mins to kick in. The room had a comfortable chair to sit and wait and they complimentary snacks and water. After 45 mins I was greeted by Miriam who took me to another room for the procedure. She explained the entire process and took her time to make sure I was happy with the results. The entire process from arrival to completion takes about 2 hours.
