Okay- this is a very late review-the date was almost 2 months ago and it's kind of different. You'll see why-it's not a review for the actual Moving services at Aussies, but rather a review of the people at Aussies. So you'll know that the kind of people that they employ in this company have a high level of Quality, Integrity and Honor. That at least two of their young men possess these attributes and from knowing THIS you will realize that you are in safe hands with this company. I believe that the two were Richard and Steven, because I can't find my notes right now from that fateful day, but when I do and if necessary then I will edit. These guys were my angels one day. Literally. My car engine had been given a terminal diagnosis the day before, but I was told that if I wanted to risk driving it again, there might be a bit of life left in it. So I risked it. Made it to my destination, but on the way back home, the car died. Forever. Right at the busy intersection of I35 & Riverside Dr. heading South, right after crossing the bridge. Picture this spot if you will. Very busy location. Light turns green, and my car inches forward but that's all, just enough to block the entire intersection and send furious glares my way from drivers around me, I'm helpless at this point. I hop out just by my door and start hollering "Can someone help me move this out of the way??!!" Nothing. Then, a couple of pan-handlers began pushing from behind and the car moved slowly and barely made it out of the main box, then the road began an incline, Uh Oh. not enough man power any more. My joy instantly went to fear as I am now right in the middle of traffic- I open my door again, hop out and standing right next to it, turned my head around and what do I see? Running up from behind, dressed all in black, and running in unison side-by-side were my two saviors! It was as if I had just called over to them personally, and they came running upon hearing my cries for help! To this day I don't really know how it all happened. It was all in slow motion, like a car wreck, only with a good ending. Later they told me that they saw this poor lady with her car broken down, and even though they were ON their way to WORK, they stopped their car, parked it right there by the side of the access road and ran to help me. I don't think they even stopped to think about it, it was just an automatic reflex for these two. Their strength picked up where the others' left off and they were magically able to push my car UP HILL into an UP HILL DRIVEWAY and Parking Lot and out of the road while I steered. And to top it off, as I was seriously freaked out by then, they were so kind and attempted to calm me down and to help me figure out what to do next. They guided me through the logical steps, "Ok, get your stuff that's important out of the car, leave a note, lock it up" etc. THEN they offered to give me a ride home, not even asking me how far or where I was going!! I ask you, when does this ever really happen except for in a movie?? We had a wonderful talk all the way to my home which wasn't close at all, but they didn't mind and smiled all the way keeping up the chatter to keep me calm. Their main concern was for my welfare and making sure that I was OK and smiling again. What gentlemen! These are they kind of men that all men should be. Courteous, kind, polite and going above and beyond to help someone in need. Unbelievable. Okay, this is long but I don't care. These guys saved my life and they work for Aussie's and when and if I ever have to move again, they will be the FIRST place that I call for help, because I know that not only will they actually be able to easily move my things safely with strength and muscle, but they will be people that I can trust to treat me with respect and to make sure all is well before handing me my receipt for work well done. That is my story and it is true. These guys are my heroes and really made what could have been a nightmare into a happy experience and rekindled my faith in humanity, at least for one day. read more

I'm not one to really write reviews but I felt the need to warn others about this company especially after reading a previous review from a consumer who experienced similar issues. Like many others, I was reeled in by their attractive moving rates. I purchased the group-on for $65 worth $130 in credit. I arranged the move and received a service agreement for a rate of $90 P/H FOR 3 GUYS (3HR MIN) + $50 TRUCK FEE. I was surprised to see that only 2 men arrived at my house. 45 minutes into the job I inquired about the third man and was told that they were unaware of 3 men. I showed them my service agreement and they deferred me to their upper management. After calling a number that they provided, I spoke to a manager who apologized and assured me that I would only be charged the 3 hour 3 man rate despite the duration that it would take to complete the move. The entire move ended up taking nearly 4.5 hours with the 2 men. I was initially told by the movers who where on site that I would have to pay $180 for the extra time despite the managers previous reassurance. I refused to pay and spent the next 30 minutes trying to contact the manager who assured me of the initial rate that I had a printed on the service agreement. Eventually I reached another employee who was less apologetic and said that the price on my service agreement was for 2 men and not 3. This may have been true but my service agreement listed this price for 3 men and not 2. He reluctantly agreed to the initial contract price. He actually told me that he was doing me a favor and that he could and should charge me full price for the extra time. At this point I was given a final receipt for the original price and agreed to have the amount debited from my account. Days later I noticed that they erroneously added $25 extra to my charge. When I called they apologized and said that they would credit my card and recharge it for the correct amount. I never received the credit and was charged twice for this move. This happened on 6/12/2015. After several calls to their so called management they have still yet to credit my account. When I ask for a manager/supervisor, the customer service representative told me that they aren't available and can't give out their contact information. Nonetheless he assured me several times that he would forward the problem to marketing and that I would be refunded within a few days. Well its been almost 2 months. Although my bank has credited my account and filed a fraud claim, my bank has yet to recuperate the funds from Aussie movers (2 months later). Stay away from this company. They will not answer their phones when problems arise. Save yourself the trouble and hire a more reputable company. read more

TL; DR: Me and my wife contracted them, they make a mess, now they're trying to wash their hands of the issue, even accusing me that I've never interacted with them. Update: I am aware that in fact, I AM a client, because I'm Veronica's husband, so we decided together to call you for your services, and also I was there during the move, so I'm writing based on my experiences, on what I SAW, not on behalf of somebody. So, it is A LIE that I have never had any interaction with you. Worst moving experience ever! This people did every possible trick to make us hate them. We booked three people for our moving, because we have some heavy stuff to move, and they just send two, arguing that the third one "just resigned". They did not bring some elementary things, like a gun tape. Then, we went back to our new house, with them driving just a few feet behind us, when all of a sudden they didn't take a turn and went through another road. We waited for them like 45 minutes until we called them, and they told us that they just "stopped for a snack at Burger King", obviously with the clock still running and neither of us knowing where they were (with all of our things in their truck). Finally, when we arrived, they were several damaged things, like a vanity with its legs broken, scratches on some surfaces, a shoe cubby totally ruined and a broken l-shaped desk. We tried to called them several times to compensate for everything that happened to us, and we were never able to reach them, always with a new excuse. Just completed a move yesterday with Aussie movers and I couldn't be more than satisfied with their service. I had purchased a Living Social Deal for them. They were punctual, efficient, and careful with my items. They moved my entire project in the two hours I had bought which made me pleased. The main person I worked with Todd, was polite, knowledgeable, and knew how to run his crew well. I overheard him a few times making sure his crew were paying attention to what they were doing to make sure my items arrived safely. As far as the service goes it is "10/10, would hire again and have recommended to a friend!" My only complaint would be with the deal itself, I spent $169 for my two hour move through living social. I was charged an additional hour for their travel time (30 min arriving and driving away, $130) and $25 dollars for materials. So in total it was $324 dollars. The deal ended up being twice what I thought it would from living social. So in reality by going through living social I only saved about $91 bucks. Which isn't bad but not great. Luckily Aussie Movers explained this thoroughly over the phone when I was booking so I didn't feel the sticker shock at the end of the move. Very professional. So the deal it self rated 3/5 stars but I don't want to knock any points off of these guys. In the end the service was worth the $300. read more

Couple months we moved from our apartment to our very first home. We had called Aussie movers for our moving day. Everything was happening so fast and at the last minute that we were very stressed if everything will go well. Thanks to Aussie Movers, especially our movers Larry (and his wife) and Richard our moving day went by like a breeze. Our movers arrived exactly on the designated time we had arranged. In fact they had called 10 minutes out to let us know they were coming, which was nice because we were able to make sure everything is ready and not waste anytime. Both Larry and Richard were very efficient and did not waste anytime in hauling our boxes and items. Larry's wife did a fantastic job of staying in the truck and making sure everything was hauled and organized properly. They also did a great job in unloading our boxes and respecting our new house. They made sure to take off their shoes when going inside and helped us in installing our bed and washer/dryer. Overall Larry and Richard did a great job! We were impressed with their time management and their efficiency. We will definitely recommend these guys! read more

We used Aussie movers for our last move and they were great. If you use them ask for Steven and his crew...they were awesome. I was thinking that the move was going to take 6+ hours...they did it all in 4 hours, and that included a stop at our storage unit. The were moving very quick. They didn't take many breaks and the ones they did take were short/unnoticeable. They asked questions, got a game plane together and then got on it. I was impressed. I have worked as a mover before so I know how hard it can be. Its not easy work. They are professionals at it. They arrived exactly on time. Spent 5 minutes talking with us and getting their truck and equipment ready and then got going. They moved us out of a third story apartment, drove 10 miles to the storage place and loaded that up, then drove another 15 miles and moved us into our new house...all in 4 hours. Again...I was impressed. It was well worth the money to hire Aussie Movers. I will be using them again the next time I have a move. Save your back...call Aussie Movers and ask for Steven and his crew. read more

Love love this company! I've used them twice. My first move was with their Los Angeles Branch. The second time I had them relocate me to Austin. I've moved around the county a lot and Aussie Movers is hands down the most professional moving company I've used. They also truly care about your precious home goods. Everything is wrapped thoroughly and handled carefully. The entire process from the first phone call made my move so much easier. Moving can be stressful, but Josh (their Aussie guy who answers the calls and collects your info) put me at ease knowing that my things would be in good hands. The guys showed up on time (Ricky and his crew moved me in Los Angeles; Karsten and his crew moved me to Austin) and were incredibly careful with my things yet very efficient and finished quickly. This is a rather delayed review... but better late than never! We were moving between apartments that were in the same building but with the entrances on the opposite sides. There was some miscommunication about this situation and the movers (Mike and Steven) brought a big bed truck. But they immediately adapted to the situation without any fuss and moved all the furniture with trolleys/carts etc (which was a lot of physical effort). Also, we were to get three people for the move, but Mike and Steven did the complete move within the allotted time. They also reduced the hourly rate (which was agreed for three movers). Of course, nothing is perfect and we did have slight abrasion damage on one couch, but I'll put that down to improper packaging on our part. Mike and Steven were very pleasant and went about the move in a very efficient manner. I won't think twice about hiring Aussie Movers for my next move. read more

Honest John and Super Steve were AMAZING!!!!!! Started to only do an hour cause I only needed help with 8 heavy items. But because of company policy I had to have them for a 3 hour minimum. I booked the 3 hours. John contacted me a day prior to my appointment for a check in. When they arrived, they asked me where the big pieces were located first, and what all was mine (roommate was moving out also). They worked very hard, quickly, while also "human" and talked to me during the move. They made my mom soooooooo much easier and faster. They also made me feel safe letting them in my home and with my stuff. Honest John and Super Steve, work ethic was soo AMAZING they finished a 3 hour job in less then 2 hours! John and Chris were prompt, professional and motivated. They kept the momentum going the entire time during our move and asked for instructions with our items as we went along. We had one way-point on the way to our storage facility and they were very understanding/accommodating about this. I cannot give them enough high-fives. Thank you to Cookie for coordinating with us and keeping us apprised of any changes along the way. We used a Living Social coupon deal, which helped considerably with the costs. This was our first time using Aussie movers. We have used other moving companies in the past, but now Aussie movers will be the company we refer our family and friends to. Steven and William were excellent. They were responsible with my belongings, efficient and most importantly, they were personable. I actually enjoyed working with them during this move. The price was reasonable as well. I would like to add on piece of feedback for the office. Answer your phones. It's annoying calling and never having anyone pick up. I never got a confirmation email, so the day before my move, I was a tad nervous something was wrong. Calling to get confirmation throughout the day before my move only to have it go to voicemail over and over, was kinda scary. Regardless, these guys did show up and they did an amazing job. I had an awesome experience with Aussie Movers! It started with the funny yet professional Cookie who set everything up for me. They had an issue with the truck but she let me know the night before that they would be late and gave me an accurate time of when they would arrive. When they did arrive; Josh, Logan, and Brian were unbelievably helpful and patient as I had my cable and tv provider arrive at the same time. They worked with me and moved more than I had initially asked them to and did so at a rate that was lower than initially quoted. I know that won't always be the case but the fact that they went the extra mile went a long way with me and I will definitely use them again in the future! read more

Not only was the crew who moved me on Tuesday great, they were polite, professional and took care of even the smallest detail of our move. John, Chris and Nick did a great job moving us from our rental to our new home. They even had a new trainee who they treated respectfully and by the end of the move, you couldn't tell he was being trained on the job, and we weren't charged for his training, a plus. Aussie Movers Office Manager came to our home, welcomed us into our new home with flowers, this was so sweet of her, thanks Cookie. I always stress when I move and honestly, I hate the process.. so I got the groupon like so many others did and asked Aussie Movers to help me move. Let me just say that Steven and Richie were amazing, they were on time,A++, kind, careful, pleasant.. all around really great guys. I found myself laughing and smiling throughout the process talking to them. They were sweet to my kids and always paying attention, it felt like I had my friends helping me move. I'd definitely recommend them anytime.. and if I have to move again, I won't be as stressed about it because let's face it, moving usually sucks, but not when you have great people to help you out. Awesome Aussie Movers! I have moved several times but this is one of the most hassle free moves ever! Dan does believe in customer service and kept in touch with me through phone, text, and email. The drivers worked their butts off to get everything packed and were honest, hard working, intelligent, and very cordial. The day that we moved had to me the most humid day that I had ever experienced in Arizona. You can tell the guys were tired but they still worked hard to make sure that the move went through without any problems. These guys moved me from a 2 story house to our new 2 story house and did a GREAT job! They were so friendly and actually made moving fun! Imagine that! Great pricing and I also had a groupon. They did everything they could to get us settled and squared away in our new home so that we could sleep in it that very night. Needless to say we felt right at home after the move as they had everything organized and in place so all we had to do was unpack boxes and dress the beds. Made moving so much easier! We had really good luck with Aussie. My son used them a year or so ago and recommended them. I had called another mover for an estimate Aussie had a much better quote. They were flexible when we needed to move our date out a week. On moving day, Richard,Victor, and Harold showed up and got right down to business. We had more boxes and heavy stuff than any of us expected but they got it all taken care of and into our new home in five hours. We could not have done it ourselves! I bought a groupon for Aussie Movers to move from a third floor apartment to another third floor apartment. Overall my experience was great and made my move less of a hassle. Steven and his crew were very professional and friendly. He called me a couple of days in advance to confirm all the details. He also recommended to go with 3 movers instead of 2 (for a small additional charge) which was the right call because in the ended up being less.
