    Basket of Fries, $5

Attended on a Sat evening to enjoy The Dirty Muggs and my goodness it gets hot under that tent! Even though I was seated under one of the large ceiling fans, it was basically hot air circulating. The sound system wasn't the best and actually became a bit irritating and as I stepped out from under the fan, instant sweat fest. The tried the espresso Martini cocktail which tasted pretty good for a canned cocktail, but wasn't a good idea with the heat. Lol. I ordered some fries which were huge in size and tasted pretty good as well. If it's summer, bring a towel and personal fans to help, because that dome is just a sweat box.

What a fantastic lunch at the Budweiser Beer Garden! I loved touring the gift shops, but the food was where it was at! They have a big menu of mostly lunch and bar food. I chose the Pulled Pork sandwich with beer bbq sauce! Even with sides and extra slaw, and a beer, it came to just twenty bucks! The bartender was very nice and helpful. You can also rider at your table or just at the bar. Atmosphere is casual and lots of folks were watching sports on tv. The in house beers are fresh and crisp, and it's awesome to see all the different varieties they own. I'll certainly be back next time and take the brewery tour!

    Pretzels and beer

We came here for the brewery lights and found the atmosphere very inviting! It was a great place to hang out and get a few snacks. Pretzels were 7/10, good but we've had better! Free beer was 10/10!

I have to say that I highly recommend it. After the tour, you're bound to be hungry, and this place is perfect for those post tour pangs. The price is reasonable, the food is good, and of course . . . . you're probably craving another beer.

Nice visit. I have not been in over 25 years, so was surprised to find it now costs to go on the tour. But worth it! Enjoyed the Clydesdales the most. Got a free bottle of beer and free beer tasting at the conclusion of the tour. The staff was wonderful on the tour. Upbeat and enthusiastic about their products.

We arrived early for our Clydesdale tour and were able to order lunch by barcode at a table at the outdoor Biergarten. Service was friendly and food was a perfect mix of apps, salad, brat, pretzel and good bier. They have sports on TVs and music - chill atmosphere.

What a fun venue for a concert! My friend texted me earlier last week and asked me if I wanted to attend Blues and Brews with her. I didn't know the Biergarten/ brewery held concerts- I was definitely in. We decided to Uber to avoid worrying about parking. Ride share drop off was simple, and we made our way towards the entrance. We scanned our tickets and made our way inside. We were offered a complimentary bud light or a water (which came with the ticket- not your usual offering when visiting on a normal basis). We made our way to where the stage is, and it was set up nicely- lots of ample standing room. People were also allowed to bring chairs in- which would have been nice to have! We walked down the walkway and there were food trucks set up for purchase, which is always nice. The STL Blues were in attendance, and did a Q and A. Tons of blues fans (including myself) as well as Chris Lane fans, which was performing after. There were a couple of spots to get drinks. Lines were long, but there were a lot of people there- comes with the territory. The venue is a great one for outdoor performances, and I would for sure go again if I had the option! Bonus- it's in Soulard so we got to walk to another spot when the concert was done.

The Anheuser-Busch Biergarten is a great STL spot for travelers and locals alike! They've got some new appetizers on their menu - the cheese curds and jalapeño cheese bites were both soooo good. I wish they still had their boneless wings but the bone in and great and have awesome sauces as well! I also got the pulled pork nachos which were tasty and came in a huge portion!

Service is pretty much non-existent here. No direction on seating when you enter, to start. We found a half-clean table to sit at. You have to scan a QR code to view the menu and put the order in yourself. You also can't build a tab, meaning you have to reload the app each time. No way to ask questions; the servers are really just food runners. Chips were trash, the cheese sauce lacked any flavor and tasted like stuff out of a can, only worse. Good luck getting more of a condiment... The online menu reflects items not available in the app. The one star is for having Mango Cart on tap. That was the only highlight. Go for the brewery tours which are excellent; skip the pregame meal here.

This is the snack bar and casual dining at the Budweiser Plant tour area. It is a nice chance to grab a bite and wait until your next tour/adventure! It is a nice outdoor biergarten and surprisingly, they sell Budweiser products! I ordered a Bier Brat, onion rings, potato salad, and an Ultra organic. WOW! super tasting food and beer! Somewhat pricey, but more than worth it! Service is not fantastic, but it got the job done.

Wonderful location for a larger group event. Fun indoor games and displays of AB products over the years. Food was delicious and service very helpful and polite. Gift shop has soooo much stuff. So hard to choose. Tours are offered - I didn't get to go myself but my colleagues said it was amazing.

I usually try to avoid talking too much about the beers at brewpubs/taprooms but basically we came here to pass the time before our tour started. The list of beers here is basically what you will find at a TGIFriday's or a Bennigan's if those were still around. A lot of lagers...and that's about it. If you want a 'fancy' beer like you know, ANYTHING else. You have to go outside, like it's a shameful secret that Anheuser-Busch owns anything outside of yellow, fizzy water. Actually, they did have their 'Underground Collection' of 'one-off' beers that they only have at the brewery. The beers are ok, but it's like aunts joining Facebook, a safe attempt to be cool by someone that's trying too hard to be cool.

The staff... wow.. another story.. Outside bar had an AMAZING waitress, Jess, that truely made our nights and was so awesome and fun. Jess deserves a raise and if you go to Venice cafe avoid literally any bar tender except for Jess. The old lady bar tender on inside bar took two extra dollars from me (I guess thinking I wasn't gonna tip? ) despite me leaving three on the bar and me pointing it out to her. Then a very very large brown haired curly bearded man completely ignored me at the bar, at like 4pm it was me standing directly in front of the bar by myself while he had co convos and gave bar backs shots. I couldn't have made this up.. I couldn't think of anything to even say to address that wasnt not kind or out of pocket so I left. It was an unreal experience and from what I've heard about management just from patrons there they wouldn't care anyway, it was alienating and gross behavior. Venice cafe had a good reputation and it was on my list forever, but I've already shared with more of my groups that we can go somewhere else and be treated much better. I'd second guess this option unless Jess is working outside in the bar.

It's not altogether different from the smell of beer as it's coming back up, and it called to mind my illustrious, mostly-forgotten-at-this-point college years. I was suddenly compelled to listen to Cannibal Ox and watch certain videos that I'd pilfered from Kazaa, and it's probably for the best that I didn't have access to a circa 1998 Compaq Presario in that moment. The vibe in Bluewood Brewing is a lot classier. There's no "Iron Galaxy" over the PA. The lights are dimmed, which I imagine would be convenient if there was someone there you owed money to. I was particularly impressed with a long table on the patio. I remarked to a member of my running group that it almost certainly didn't come from IKEA. The wood was of too high a quality. The food menu is limited to a small selection of standard sports-bar fare, but this is not anywhere you'd go to watch the game. They might not have any TVs. Did they spend too much on the table? Also, they don't sell any beer in cans, that I'm aware of, which I generally prefer as someone who, as the evening progresses, is prone to dropping things. I went with something called Crush, which is an orange-flavored high-gravity IPA. It was the highest ABV selection on their regular beer menu, but it also costs a little bit more, so you're not really getting over on them--unless you thought to "pregame." I found it to be both less "stiff" than I was expecting and less orange-tasting, in a good way but also in a bad way, in that anything that fails to conform to expectation is at least somewhat disappointing. I was expecting paint thinner and orange juice. I got something that was balanced and flavorful. From the food menu, I got the daily special, which was a sort of elevated patty melt called the Stable Melt. It came with two all-beef patties, Swiss, caramelized onions and "Frisco" sauce on Union Loafers marbled rye, with your choice of chips or fries. It was $18, and as I was standing there a guy came out and changed the price to $19, presumably due to developments in the war with Iran. I was assured that I'd be "grandfathered in" at $18, but I'm not sure if he told the guy at the register and I didn't bother to check. It wasn't necessarily my kind of thing, but it was a great burger. The name-brand bread alone nearly justified the price increase. The meat was generously proportioned (no Diddy), but it didn't quite extend to the edges of the bread. Perhaps if it were one larger patty? The onions gave it a sophisticated Salisbury steak vibe, wholly superior to Hungry Man. The fries called to mind the fries at Wendy's. If only they offered a Frosty to dip them in. It wouldn't necessarily go with their beer. I'd suggest they put bourbon or something in it, but I shudder to think what they might charge.

I came with my parents and husband and we all agreed it was a great idea and a very comfortable space, perfect for what was needed. I was surprised at how relatively ample the parking was here despite its proximity to the city. We found a spot with no problems. There were discreet signs that directed us up the stairs to where the event was held. It was spacious, airy, and cool, with a decent number of tables and a very nice large bar, as well as restrooms for both men and women. Our family members who spoke were able to stand on a small stage and share their thoughts. The food was served buffet style in front of the stage. Although you'd think it might be hard to hear given the acoustics, they worked out a way to make it so their speeches could be heard easily. Even visiting with other folks after they spoke, it never became too loud to hear each other. There are also nice TVs which displayed photos of the family. Although we used the space for a celebration of life, I can imagine it would be a good fit for all sorts of events, from corporate parties to just a chill hang out space when it's open to the public. It did get a little bit hot in the space as the event wore on, but it wasn't intolerable. The food and drinks were also quite tasty, especially for catered/buffet style food. There were pretzel bites and cheese dip and three different types of slider burgers: a standard/original burger, a taco burger, and an Impossible burger. The pretzel bites were crispy and buttery. I had a taco burger slider. It was a tiny bit dry but had a great flavor. The bartenders were great -- friendly, answering questions, working efficiently, and very kind to all the guests. Husband enjoyed the beers he tried and my mom and I both ordered the "Cranberry Crush," which was a yummy (and strong!) cocktail that was bright and perfectly sweet. They also serve mocktails, which I love! Glad to include folks who are sober. Thanks, 4 Hands, for creating a welcoming and comfortable space for us!

After a few tips, they warmed up and provided friendly service and actually got chatty. So I think next time, they may just get the bump to 5.

The service was fast, the food was good, with a wide variety of bbq sauces. My favorite was the Mustarolina. You have to try the brisket! It was recommended by Lauren and she was not wrong. These days, very rarely can you go into a restaurant and be served good food that fast at that time of the day. Hats off to Lauren, Rachel (Manager) and the Salt + Smoke team for the work they do! Keep up the great work! Great atmosphere!

Salt and Smoke is soooo good!…read more I got a side dish and an appetizer and they both delivered! My favorite thing at a BBQ restaurant is trying their BBQ sauces with french fries. So I ordered a side of french fries which were beef fat fries giving it a unique flavor. The titles for the BBQ sauces had me googling them to ensure they weren't too spicey, even with the titles the spice levels weren't too high. I tried them all and settled on Hotangy. I also got the toasted Ravioli which is a must have! It's so unique with the flavors and best fresh! Service: Excellent! My waitress was very attentive and kept my water filled. Reservations Needed: It seems like walk in only. Happy Hour: Available on weekdays from 3pm to 6pm (I came outside this window).
