Every time I'm anywhere close, I make it a point to stop, and this trip was no different. I was driving back home to North Carolina and had to make one last stop because it's just that good. The food is always fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The sandwich was perfectly toasted with fresh ingredients, plenty of parmesan, and an amazing sauce, and the fries were cooked perfectly. I think it may be the CONQUISTADOR with sausage added to it. I find their bread hoagies to be a little dry. It could be much improved if the bread was fresh. The fries are really good. I am thinking that a side of the special sauce for the sandwich would make a great fry dip! Service was really slow today. Drink orders took forever. The two people in our group that ordered a poke bowl were served last when everyone else was about done. You don't have to cook raw fish and vegetables so not sure what happened. They didn't charge for the poke bowls due to the long wait, which was fair. This is an outdoor seating venue, but they have tent covers and an outdoor TV to watch sports games. The cheese was smooth, not oily, and the bread was perfectly toasted. Not pictured is the "pot of gold" iced coffee, which was a vanilla and toffee nut flavor with sprinkles on top.
