A tourist trap in the middle of 30A tourist traps. It is a clean, kid friendly option that is open all day. Some evenings have live entertainment or a "family" movie night. While we were there the movie National Treasure was showing. Great movie, but not great for little kids to sit and watch or parents to watch while trying to chase their kids. They have multiple food options. All are way overpriced for what you get. Avoid the BBQ...it is simply not good. The burgers are fine as is the pizza, but nothing special. The Mexican stand was good, we did not try the fish. Overall, rotating food trucks or something would seem like a better option, but probably less profit for The Big Chill. read more

The whole set up is pretty cool. A variety of food choices to meet anyone's taste. Live music on the stage. Open air seating as well as covered seating was a welcomed sight considering it can rain at any moment. Even an arcade and ice cream to get your kids fired up! We are big fans of this area. Our only concern was with the automated drink machines and how much they push for tips with the iPads and no cash accepted... well worth it, if you don't mind spending 100+ on dinner and drinks for two! Great shopping selection too. Fun areas for kids. Fire and heaters when it's chilly too... will be back. read more

The burgers are just ok, the bacon was kinda gross and fatty, the fried pickle chips were under cooked. The only good part of the meal was the fries. For the money that you spend on a meal here they should be a lot better. read more

I went to your guy's arcade tonight and am very disappointed. We played the claw Games and the punching Game. It is extremely rigged. We got 801 and 799 on the punching score for 2500 free points for 800. Ridiculous. We also grabbed a few animals from the claw game and they of course dropped right as they were about to come out. Unfair for children and everyone involved - made us super upset that the kids couldn't enjoy something silly from the games! read more

The big chill is very good. In some senses it's a glorified outdoor mall with a food court. But I don't know that that's a bad thing? The food is good. Lots of options. We went on a Wednesday evening for dinner. The Big Chill is set up like an old school Mall food Court but outdoors. It was also family movie night. It was very crowded, but we were lucky to snag a table right away. We ordered the burgers. My husband ordered a double, I ordered a single and my 5 and 3 year old were able to split a single and fries. It was plenty of food. The fountain drinks are monitored with a QR code. You scan the code and it dispenses however many ounces you pay for. My kids just wanted water so I wish we would have just brought the water bottles in with us instead of paying for a fountain drink. read more

First of all the food was amazing I had some street taco and my husband had loaded nachos and it was perfect. And to the two guys that was working on Sunday I most say job well done. My husband and I was waiting in line to place our order and the two guys in the kitchen was just laughing I wonder what's wrong with them anyway we got our food and it was perfect. When we were about to leave one of the guys come outside we stop him and ask him what was so funny ? He said we are under staff today and we did not know it would be this busy so we were laughing because we didn't know what to expect. We've stayed at Prominence across the street a couple of times and always enjoy visiting this shopping area and food complex. I rode my bike over when I was there the last time and found a beautiful dress at one of the boutiques. At night, it gets super busy and it's hard to find parking. There's fun for the whole family and lots of activities planned besides all the food choices. But nothing is cheap. Be prepared for a little sticker shock. read more

One order was blackened grouper. A good sized piece served w two hushpuppies and a ton of French fries. But the hush puppies were terrible. Crispy outside, dry powdery inside. Very expensive for eating out of a paper box, paper fork on a picnic table -- $32! Another person in my family ordered the lobster pasta dish and it was made w dried pasta shells. Great spot for a Friday night with little kids. A few different spots and food styles to pick from - All kid friendly with chicken tenders, quesadillas, queso and a spot for fish/seafood. We went this past Friday and they had face painting for a minor fee and cotton candy. A DJ is there on Fridays and it's all about getting the kids up and dancing. As I sat there on a warm, wooden bench, around me was a combination of six-year-olds, college students, a bachelorette party, and a healthy scattering of drunk moms. Despite their differences, these groups were brought together by the beat of the music, the smooth voice of DJ Dan weaving them together into something greater than the sum of their parts. Sitting there, I shed a tear as I realized that there is still hope for our country. You know, looking back at it, I guess we came for the punch buckets, but in the end, we stayed for the friends we made along the way. read more

Formerly known as The Hub. This is a cute all-in-one shopping center, food court, and family-friendly lounge area. There is a good variety of food options like indoor eateries, takeout counters, food trucks, and walk-up bars. So everyone in my family could get what they wanted without having to compromise. With many shaded places to sit, from large tables and comfy couches to lounge chairs and cafe seating, a couple hours here flies by. The corn-hole was pretty popular, so my kiddos didn't get to play during our visit. But we'll likely return for the family movie night on their big screen! read more

Parents!--Highly recommend here rain or shine if you have young kids! It's so hard to find a place to eat with a toddler, but this was so perfect. The picnic table and turf area allowed our little one to run/play/people watch while we shared a good burger, piping-hot sweet potato fries, and crispy fried pickles. We had a terrible experience tonight at the big chill. This was our first time here, and decided to check it out after hearing so much about it. The owner at Sugar Wave truly ruined our night after violently screaming at my 9 year old son for walking into the store with a drink in his hand, yelling at him to get out of his store and throw away his drink. "CANT YOU READ!!" The sign is not at eye level for a child! Which my son went straight out and threw away his drink. (Mind you, if you get a drink at this place there is a QR code that you must scan to get a refill at the soda stations, because you only have a certain amount of oz per drink you can use, so I was extremely annoyed by that alone when he made him throw it away). Upsetting that the owner of the Big Chill would allow a business that treats customers and children this way when the store is marketed for children. My son was not by himself, we were there as a family, and was upsetting to push him out of the store with his drink instead of coming to his parents to bring to our attention. read more
