    These people made their word good. I bought a 77 inch Samsung QN77S90D and Q990 speaker system from Yasir Raphael on November 26, 2024 which were delivered on the 28th. I absolutely love the TV and the sound system is unbelievable. However, at around 10:00 pm on the following Thursday, the TV just died. It stop working. Black screen. I called Yasir Raphel on Friday morning and he had a new TV delivered the next day. What more could you ask for? As background, one of the things I like about The Big Screen Store, is that they use over the over the air transmission signal to show their TV's. So, you get to see what you will get when you get home. That is, if you don't have cable. As for demonstrating the sound system, you sort of have to use your imagination. I did enjoy working with Yasir Raphael. He was patient and explained as much as he could to me. It was a great shopping experience.

    We purchased a Samsung TV and "professional installation" from the Big Screen Store in Fairfax. We bought a 2021 55" Picture Frame TV. We loved the look of the one on display in the store and were excited to have it hung by the Big Screen Store installers. On delivery day I received an early morning call letting me know the delivery window would be 6PM-10PM! I wasn't happy but the guy said it was due to the Labor Day sale the store had. I moved furniture and cleared the area anticipating the delivery. Finally at 10:45PM, NO phone call, NO email, NO delivery, NO TV. We went to bed. I called in the morning and the store was as surprised as I was. The delivery crew never told them the delivery didn't happen. I was happy when the store told me the installers would bring the TV with them and they fit me in the next day. They showed up on time with the TV. We figured out placement on the wall and I left them to their job. There was difficulty fishing the line behind the wall (due to spray foam insulation). The fix was to cut a small channel to run the wire/s, I agreed to that and would hire someone to patch and paint that area. The TV was hung and I was called in to show me how to operate it. The TV was defective. After calling the store to alert them we'd need another TV, I was told they had none left. I was offered the floor model or to pay more money for a different TV. I didn't want a tv that had been hanging on a wall in the store for a year and I didn't want to spend any more than I had, initially. We chose to return the defective television. Once that decision was made, the tv was removed and that is when I saw the damage that had been done to the wall. The number and size of the holes was shocking. The installers hadn't used or even opened the templates provided with the tv, for proper spacing and hanging. They didn't have the proper screws: all different lengths and diameters. One bracket had two screws, the other had five. The brackets weren't plumb or level and the attached clips that the tv hangs on were fixed (not movable) to the bracket so the tv wouldn't have been level. We received a refund for the tv. I am very angry that professional installers caused so much damage to my wall which will require extensive drywall repair and repainting. I asked the owner, Jason, to be responsible for a portion of the wall repair: his response was "well you wouldn't have known if the TV worked". It didn't work and a different TV would require different brackets and wouldn't be able to be hung anywhere near the mess created by the installers.

    The Frame

    My living room tv died right before Thanksgiving. I had seen the Samsung Frame and my son-in-law recommended The Big Screen Store. I went by and was very pleased with the reception I received and the demonstration. I settled on the 65" Frame. They installed it the day before Thanksgiving and I have been enjoying it ever since. Kudos to Romeo for the very professional install and Rafael. Highly recommend them and will never buy anywhere else!

Aomed was prompt in coming in, evaluating our old setup, and giving us several different options in formal proposals along with the prices upfront. He did not use any hard-sell tactics (i.e. no car salesman-like tactics). For installation, his team, led by Arnas, was prompt and did a superb job with the installation. There were some issues after installation (partly on us not knowing how the speakers work with Atmos), but Aomed gave us his mobile for texting. He responded to each issue, and a couple of times, Arnas and his team were out to fix them and show us how to operate our new system. Aomed and his team deserve the 5 stars. The only issue was when it took a while to get ahold of him while he was out of the country, but he responded back quickly as soon as he got back. I'm sure his business will grow as his reputation increases, and hopefully, he'll have a customer service person who could help with calls. The best thing is he and Arnas told us we could continue to contact them whenever we needed any help. (for example, I just sent Aomed a text, and he replied within seconds).

    Something interesting happened here after my original review, the owner (Aomed) reached out to me…read moreand wanted to make it right. This install was for a training room at a Fire Station, and this was a project that Aomed felt strongly about. We worked together for the next few months on the equipment options and installation schedule. Despite our limited budget Aomed worked with us to maximize what we were getting, while giving us a great deal. Communication is a bit on the slow side, but the result exceeded our expectations and we now have a very nice AV setup thanks to Aomed and his team.
