This place is known as the "afties" bar because they are open until 4 AM though they will still stop serving alcohol at 2 AM The biggest downside is that they tend to charge a cover almost every night, which is pretty annoying, but I guess that's standard for Dallas. Happy hour til 8pm, we ordered Tito's vodka cocktails and they were reasonably priced at 6.25/ea (one round the bartender must've forgotten and charged us 3.25 each for regular well). Speaking of the bartender, he was so friendly, gracious, and provided excellent service. He would check up on us every so often and would take our next round to our table. The atmosphere is inviting and clean. This "hole in the wall" is located in a small strip mall conveniently tucked in a corner. There's an AMI jukebox inside so that was fun utilizing my app to play music; however, the volume was a bit too low. The only thing I did not care for was the parking as it is very tight and shares with the other businesses in the strip mall. Overall, great place with a patio (albeit for smokers). Bathrooms were clean and well attended, lots of seating with three high tops and a few tables. If I am ever in the area again I would definitely be back!

This place, from inside to out, is not much to look at. The essence of a dive bar and the vibe of a gay club is the best way to describe it. The bartenders inside were a bit friendlier, but the convenience and the fresh air kept pushing us to the outside bar. With that, the drinks are strong and fairly priced, so there is that! You can eat at the bar or at one of the nearby tables, or you can even take it upstairs and eat it on their expansive patio with a view. This is a really fun neighborhood bar and their sister bar Sue Ellen's is right next-door.
