What a great little place in the downtown Glendale area. Met a friend today and had a nice visit. I had been wanting to try them for a while. Good Sandwiches and great list of coffee/drink treats. I had a lovely ice tea and a delish sandwich. All the menu food and drink items sounded wonderful. i will definitely be back. Definitely a must stop when in the area. After all these years Black Sheep is still doing everything right. From the coffee of course to the vibe this is one of my favorite spots in all of Glendale. I definitely recommend parking in back or on the street on the side of the building. It's easier and the back patio is definitely worth checking out. Service is always great. If you're looking for something stronger than coffee they do offer alcohol options as well. Today we tried many drinks from the Emery (cookie butter and vanilla latte), vanilla chai, and a caramel vanilla ram (blended). All of our drinks were so so good. Prices are great and I love that there are so many size options. They offer a small food menu as well. Great stop and worth checking out. Support local. It's worth it every time. read more

Customer service could use a lot of work , the cashier was the only one to say sorry for the inconvenience this morning. I order the Jazz coffee that was on the menu, they were busy not crazy , one person making the drinks who was not going by cup line because she passed my cup like 3 times, a gentleman order the wrong coffee and instead of making him wait until they finished the rest of the order the waitress just jump the line and said oh can you make this coffee again the customer order it wrong, she passes me a couple of time never ask if I was okay or if I need to order. I wait 15 minutes for my cup of coffee and never got it , I asked for a refund and I even paid Cash because it was cheaper than using card. read more

This coffee shop has good pastries, and their coffee is good. It is good to know several good coffee places everywhere I go. There's parking on the back of the building, as it's tough to find parking on the streets. read more

In my opinion, the best coffee in the world comes from Central America. I was lucky enough to get a full fledged coffee experience in El Salvador, so I was excited that a family from neighboring Honduras, opened up a coffee shop in AZ. The strength of the coffee was on the milder side but the flavour was off the charts. In addition, the food is fantastic as well. I ordered a pesto grilled cheese sandwich. Besides being a ridiculously cool coffee shop, the customer service was exceptional. Everyone was super friendly. I'm trying to visit every coffee shop in the valley and the black sheep is one of the best in the glendale area! I got a cinnamon bun oat milk latte. It was ready quick and tasted delicious, not too burnt or overly sweet/syrupy. The ambiance was nice too, low key but they did have sports playing so I think my husband would've liked it if he were able to go with me! This is such a great coffee shop! I love all the unique drink options. They have every flavor imaginable plus they have sugar free options too! I needed to meet some clients in the area and this was the perfect spot. It's located right by downtown Glendale which is a super cute area! Have some of you felt like the black sheep in the family at times, or possibly your whole life? Daniel the owner has and he was telling me about how he has family in Honduras who has a coffee bean plantation. I think it's wonderful that the coffee shop is local and the coffee is a whole family affair. You can see photos and the beans from the actual plantation at the shop. He helped us and was very friendly and nice. We tried the Peppermint Mocha and the Wildberry smoothie. We loved both, as well as the atmosphere which was very relaxed. 90's hip hop played while we enjoyed our drinks.  I wish him and his family much success with their coffee, and coffee shop. read more

Absolutely wonderful place to have a treat and a drink! The staff is absolutely lovely and seem very passionate and dedicated to their job, and do it all with a smile! Absolutely incredible! The atmosphere is very modern and cozy, with lots of black and white murals and chalkboards. The themeing is laid back and comfortable, which brings a casual and friendly feeling! The food and drink is very high quality and absolutely delicious! I had the peanut butter bar and the Pina Colada smoothie. The texture of the smoothie is so good and it tastes really lovely and refreshing! The peanut butter bar has an AMAZING texture, with small crunchy bits that really elevate the dish! The only thing I might change is the amount of chocolate on top. The thickness can make it a bit hard to cut or bite through. Large selection of coffees, eats and smoothies. The staff is super nice too! Some customers bring their laptops to work, we had our books to study and others there to socialize with friends. Tried this place today and I was definitely not disappointed!! This coffee place is chill and quiet but modern and interesting. The staff were so friendly! I ordered a honey cinnamon vanilla latte, my husband tried the nitro cold brew with vanilla and oat milk and our son tried the peach smoothie. They were all delicious! We have found our "home" coffee shop and when family visits, we'll be taking them here! We will certainly be back to try more coffee! read more

The ambiance was really nice and I loved the assortment of dishes they had available. Well seasoned and quite enjoyable.

I was walking a few miles from Phoenix west into the adjacent city of Glendale and found this adorable Cafe at just the right time. It's spacious with comfy couches and a large patio with more outdoor seats. They have a large selection and I bought a Mocha that was smooth with just the right amount of chocolateyness. The Barista did a fantastic job and communicates well with customers. Black Sheep has only been open about a year and it looked like alot of regulars there. I rank them top ten Cafe in Maricopa County. Highly recommended. read more
