We ordered a pair of expensive shutters from Costco for installation in a large arched window. They…read morelook great from inside and outside. But since the window has a great view and direct sun in the morning, it will be adjusted frequently, so it had to be durable. Otherwise, some louvers will fall out and/or they will be hard to adjust to the blaring sunlight. Fixing this was a challenge in the first 2 years, as we had the Costco-assigned wallcovering retailer visit 4 times. On the 3rd visit, the entire shutter was replaced. After the 4th visit, some of the louvers became loose and fell out. This newer company, Simply the Best Blinds & Shutters, was connected to us by Costco. The owner visited and identified the issues in 10 minutes. He made some adjustments that tightened the frame around the louvers. After the prior 4 visits, this was never considered. This company identified and corrected the issue quickly. The shutters look much better, and we can confidently adjust the louvers.
