I had read so many glowing reviews about this place. Since it was around the corner from where we were staying, we thought it would be great idea to check it out. Can't really tell you much about Blind Pig. Why is that? Because we were never acknowledged here. Walked up to the patio area and walked around for a bit, trying to get an employees attention. No such luck. Cool views though.Ignored on the patio. Walked into the next room. Bar area with a few tables scattered about with sports on. Beautiful. I like this. Bartender says nothing and is speaking with a patron. Ignored in the first bar. Walked down a short little hallways to a back area with yet another small bar and yet a few more tables about. Saw a ledge with a stack of menus. Grabbed a couple of menus, sat down at a table and started figuring out what to order. Several employees passed with zero acknowledgement. Ignored in the back bar. So we put the menus back and started casually making our way towards the front of the bar waiting for anybody to say anything. Never happened. Nobody even TRIED to acknowledge us the entire time we were there. Not Once. I was there intent on spending money to eat and drink and watch some sports. Blind Pig was not having it that night. Had a great time here before Bengals training camp. Everything was reasonably priced and the service was good. I didn't wander to the back, but loved the outdoor areas and view of the stadium. It's a great setup to hang out with friends and enjoy good company. I only removed a star because we were excited to have lunch but couldn't order food. I went up to the bar a couple of different times and was told the kitchen was backed up and to come back in 15-20 minutes. The last time I tried, they said they weren't taking orders again until 2PM, and by that time we had to leave. So the food was a bummer, but we still look forward to going back next time we're in town. read more

The rooftop is very cute and promising but unfortunately there was a group smoking cigars outside - we stuck it out because the weather was beautiful but it definitely put a damper on the experience. Also strangely enough, they don't offer bar menus so you are just supposed to know what you want - I asked for Riesling but they have a very small selection of wine, so in this case a menu would have been helpful. Would like to give them another try because the service was great and I do love their rooftop setting! read more

Great spot for a pit stop on the way before or after the reds or bengals smaller and with a bit more character than the usual spots in The Banks. The outdoor patio has great ambiance and great views of both stadiums and the banks and bridges overall. Good selection of beers on tap. This was the second time that I've been here and I just LOVE this place! The atmosphere is super cool, kinda hipster and all the crazy antique collectibles all over with the fireplace going - it's a cool vibe for sure. Came here for trivia night and was pleasantly surprised. Everyone was sitting outdoors and luckily the weather was good enough for that. They have a great beer selection plus good bar food. I wouldn't say the nachos were worth the money but they were okay. Everything else we had was pretty good. Nothing really sensational and special in regards to food, but still not terrible either. Trivia was great, it's on Wednesdays around 7 PM. Inside they had dividers between the booths so that was a good safety measure. I really like Blind Pig, but its another timing sort of bar. Its great on Reds or Bengals game days, but other times it can be hit or miss. This past time I was here on a Sunday afternoon with the Pedal Wagon and there was a good crowd. I really like the rooftop patio and upstairs bar. Ive never tried the food, but the drinks are run of the mill. I think its more of a great location place then a go out of your way to come here for the bar itself place. read more

Average pub food. Nachos were simple with a white queso, cubed chicken and jalapeños with side of sour cream and salsa. The chicken finger basket was good, well cooked and perfect for dipping. The Italian smasher is an O'Malley original. It's similar to a panini. It's great dipped in ranch. It's filled with Italian meat, melty cheese and banana peppers. You can also create your own. The decor is very cool, a Jameson bottle chandelier, a pabst lamp and lots of old beer signs. They also have a deck outside with a fire pit. What an awesome bar! . Another cool joint my husband found in downtown Cincy. Located behind O'Malley's In the Alley. You have to walk through the O'Malley's bar to get to it. They are right next door to eachother. (There is an Entrance via stairs on Third Street as well). The Blind Pig has the same owner but a different atmosphere from O'Malley's. Beautiful decor! I love the lounge-type space, with yellow chairs and the rich warm browns. It has a 50-bottle Jameson chandelier, which stands out (you can't miss it) and one of my favorite decoration in the bar. There are more than 6 widescreen TVs for watching games. Capacity of the bar holds at least 45 people inside and another 50 on the patio, which has a great view of the Freedom Center and Paul Brown Stadium. Patio is very spacious and open. There are also two fire pits and four heaters. It was built on top of what used to be the Locker Room, which O'Malley's previously opened for Reds and Bengals home games. There are 20 beers on draft, including craft, local and domestic offerings, plus wine and a full bar. My husband got an 2 IPA (drafts) and I got the Hudepohl lager. All three beers close to $15.00 with tip. Blind Pig also offers a menu which serves sandwiches and a mixture of comfort foods. The Blind Pig hosts DJs on the weekends. A great addition to downtown Cincinnati! Friendly bartender and great service. read more

If you walk into O'Malley's and keep going straight, you walk into the Blind Pig. The main difference I noticed may have been the age of the clientele. It could just be the day or time, but it appeared as though the Blind Pig had more of a millennial presence while O'Malley's catered to Gen X and older. I was assaulted by the Bouncers at this bar. I wasn't feeling well so I only had one beer but was out with a group of friends till last call. I asked calmly and nicely if we could wait inside for our Uber to arrive (it was 10 degrees out) but was told that it would be illegal for us to stay. It was 2:05 am, they can legally serve until 2:30 am, so this was clearly a lie. They grabbed me to force me out so I calmly asked them to stop touching me but they continued to manhandle me until they forced me out the door. My arms have bruises from their fingers digging in. If that is how they would treat me when I am sober and make a very reasonable request I can't imagine how they treat their more inebriated clientele. AVOID AT ALL COSTS read more

We went to the Blind Pig for trivia on Wednesday, with intentions of only getting a few drinks, however when we saw the nachos arrive at the table next to us - we knew we weren't going to be able to hold out. Between the 4 of us, we tried the Quesadilla, chicken strips, nachos, and buffalo chicken wrap - all which were delicious but the chicken strips stole the show. Clearly freshly fried - the large chicken pieces came out hot and crispy ready to dunk into a plentiful honey mustard sauce. Really wanted to try this place because it has rooftop bar downtown and I wanted to be outside so we could enjoy the nice warm weather. So we stopped by on Friday evening to get drinks and some food, unfortunately we stopped we stopped with the beers, they were warm. After talking to another person that says he goes there all the time he said, yes warm beers are a problem! Loved the outdoor area that have a big jenga game and I think a few other oversized games and the bar area just inside the garage door, but did not make it inside we needed to find some cold beer and food. read more

I never really know what I'm going to get when going to Blind Pig. The crowd is always so different and odd every time I go. It's a fun place to stop in for a drink or two before a game or after a happy hour. A lot of people enjoy the rooftop bar that overlooks 3rd street, which is nice on a great evening. Drinks are priced fair and they even have bar food for those who enjoy a snack to help soak up the drinks. Parking isn't convenient, but if you're in the area it's easy to get to. read more

Ever since the now defunct Locker Room closed their doors this past Fall I've been wondering what was going into this prime real estate between both GAB and PBS. Seeing the signs on 3rd street and all the construction also piqued my interest. When I saw the Blind Pig sign go up I got even more excited. Reading about what they wanted to do in the Enquirer article put me over the top. I was sold and had to get here ASAP. It was the opening round of the NFL playoffs and besides the Lions getting Jerry Jonesed it was a great day. They have an entrance off 3rd St as well as the connector between the bar and O'Malley's. The feel is a mix between lounge and sports bar. I can easily see this place being awesome in the warm weather. Half of their space is located outside on the patios that overlook both stadiums. Inside there's a long bar on one side with casual seating on the other. It ends with some high tops before the huge garage door that opens up to the patio. They have a decent selection of beers with plenty of local crafts. The bartender might have been a little overwhelmed with a room full of people and only himself behind the bar acting as server and bar tender. I can see that being a problem down the road. I will definitely be back and hopefully next time I can wear my Lions shirt out with pride.... haha, that's a good one. read more

We finally figured we'd try and get the attenroom of the bartender. The staff ignored us and it took a long time to get any service. If they hired one server to work the customers, they'd generate a lot more sales and a lot more good will. read more
