Surprisingly, everyone got a different meal and it was pretty good. The goetta was interesting as it was the first time I've had it before. The sweet potato fries are surprisingly crispy and went really well paired with the apple butter. As I'm not from this area, I probably wouldn't be coming back, but I might stop by with a group if I was here. read more

My wife had the short rib grilled cheese and I had the cheesesteak. Mine was good, my wife's was out of this world! This was our second or third visit. We'll be back. We stopped here late on a Thursday afternoon. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The views are spectacular. Cute bar scene with a patio with seating for a great view of Downtown Cincinnati.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was excellent. My wife had the Chicken Chili which used a red chili sauce and was very good. I had the Black and Blue Salad which had an interesting horseradish vinaigrette, I've had better salads. We split the Onion Rings which were plentiful. I almost gave this 5 stars so I would rate this 4.5 if that was an option. The bar had multiple local craft beers. I had "linner" here on a Saturday with 5 other people at 3:30 and I was worried about not being seated quickly, since they don't let you make reservations, but we got a table right away! We all started with drinks and I sipped on the lemonchello spritz which was sooo refreshing. Then we got our main courses and I had the Cobb salad. I will say, later that night I had a VERY upset stomach and all signs pointed to that salad so..... My boyfriend's wagyu slider were also overcooked and that was disappointing. Chose this restaurant mainly for the views, there was a wait for outdoor seating and we had a bit of a time constraint so we sat indoors. We were at high tops which enabled us to look over the tables and out to the view so that was nice. My husband and I flew into Cincinnati airport and had to drive about an hour and half north. This restaurant showed up on the way and I saw it had nice views so we decided to give it a go. From looking at the menu, I was doubtful the food would be great as it looked like just another burger and pizza place. I even told my husband "we are going for the views not the food". Man was I wrong! Food is delicious! My husband ordered a burger and I got a pizza with gluten free crust and both dishes were excellent. Gluten free can be hit or miss but this restaurant nailed it! The view of course is stunning and we were lucky enough to be there during sunset. The service is attentive and friendly. I would highly recommend this place and have told our friends who live in the area they must go! read more

Ate with my kid, kid-in-law, and toddler grandkid. Food was delicious, location is beautiful. Ambiance was friendly and the toddler was very welcome. There is a tiny park next door to let the toddler run around a bit before heading home. I will gladly go back next time I'm in town. read more

I've been here before and I think I gave them four stars originally. It was the food that was a bit off but at the time the view was great and the service was fine. This time was a bit different. We were able to be seated inside right away but there was a long wait for outside. It was very nice day and it was a weekday but the lunch crowd was very much there. Service was friendly and quick for the most part. Our waiter Lucas was attentive and helpful. Unfortunately the food again was just a bit of a miss. I don't know what's going on in the dining room but some things are just a bit off and flavorless. Not sure though. Maybe it's just one of those places where you are paying for the view? Not sure. But I'm not really motivated to come back unless some of the food improves. read more

Catching up with some friends over the holiday, we met at Incline Public House. This place slips off my radar sometimes. As an Eastsider, anything on the west side can seem "far", but IPH is not. Less than 20 minutes, some of which was spent looking for a parking spot. There's a small lot, and plenty of street parking available, so it's not terrible. Mostly, we had drinks with friends (nice draft beer list with a good variety of options), but we split some small plates. The pizza was a surprise in a good way. Hadn't had their pizza before. It was tasty, well cooked and a nice selection of topping options. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The view is of course an amazing feature. It would be worth a visit on its own[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. My sister and our 2 friends stopped in here for lunch on Monday as a nice halfway point on our route back from our girls trip. A couple of us ordered beers, but I ordered a hot tea because I currently have a sore throat. All hit the spot! Lunch came out quick and was tasty- all of us had different variations of avocado/guacamole with our meal, so there was an unspoken theme lol We sat on the covered patio and had a great view of the river. It was a little gloomy since it is February, but still great to lift our winter spirits. I'm sure it's gorgeous during the warmer months. I would definitely stop back in here again during a Cincy trip and try another item off the menu. Hopefully I won't be feeling sick then and can try a beer or cocktail! read more

We were visiting family and arriving around dinner time so they thought they'd bring us here. It's a place they enjoy and I can see why. Parking may be a bit of a hassle but this place was really hopping. Although busy it didn't take too long to get a nice seat outside. Service was friendly and prompt. Good beer selection but I wish I had been hungrier. A lot of the food looked really good but I didn't want to waste food so went with the poutine (which was tasty). Everyone was really satisfied. We had a birthday among us and she has wanted to try the chocolate cake so I bought a slice to go. It was absolutely massive and so rich and delicious. This would definitely be a good place to stop in for a pint and a bite. read more

I came here on a recommendation from my brother who had been here once. I loved it!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a BEAUTIFUL view of the city from the large outdoor seating area, we unfortunately didn't sit outside because it was a bit chilly out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The food was great, I got the seafood platter and my only complaint is the fish was placed on top of the coleslaw so it ended up being a bit soggy & the breading was falling off which made it difficult to eat. Other than that it was really good. The Bavarian pretzel looked amazing but we didn't order it because it was huge and we didn't think we could eat it all, there were a ton of them coming out of the kitchen tho. We arrived at 1:30 pm on a Friday. It was more active than I expected. We joined the waiting list and were seated outside within 5 minutes. Our table of three placed our drinks and food. The food arrived within 10 minutes. However, the drinks did not come out for at least 30 minutes. Our server said that there were delays at the bar, and we did our best to be understanding. Unfortunately, one member of our party ended up having to leave before the drinks arrived. A little after 2 pm, the drinks came out, and they were tasty. Visiting the area for the 1st time and what better way to see the city than up above. We went in for an early lunch and glad we did because it was a full house on our way out. The view is great and I can imagine even better at night. We both tried the cheesesteak and it was not like the average one, it was full of roasted flavor. My husband had the lobster bisque which was great on a cold afternoon. We had to try the grippos mac n cheese, it has a little kick of spice and full creamy flavor. I would recommend for lunch. Warning: you will be waiting a while for a table. I took my mother who is from out of town to Incline Public House mainly for the view of Cincinnati. The view is nice, but the restaurant has limited parking and is always quite busy. While waiting for our table, we were able to wait at the bar, but the wait time extended by about 20-30 minutes past the estimated time given to us when we first got there. The food wasn't great for what we got. I got the chicken chili that was very plain while others got the cheesesteak and pizza were both were "ehh" according to those who ate it. We've been going to the Incline for years, and it's always incredible. The staff are super friendly, the inside is cozy and fun, and the view never gets old. The food? Always on point. I almost always go for the Short Rib Grilled Cheese because it's unbeatable, but honestly, I've never had anything I didn't like. I usually start with the Elberon Salad (definitely ask for extra dressing). The Pretzel & Pub Cheese and the Short Rib Poutine are both killer apps. We usually grab a pizza for the table and at least one side since they're big enough to share -- the Grippos-Crusted Mac & Cheese is a must. The Incline always hits. greeted and sat immediately on a thursday evening at 6pm, within minutes several was ready to take drink and appetizer order, i settled on a coke and skipped the appetizers as none really stuck out besides the pretzel. went with the blackened chicken alfredo which was super cheesy and delicious, better than i expected and very flavorful i'd give it a 9/10. the grippo topped mac and cheese was pretty good, it was deferent in a good way, definitely spicer than expected i'd give it a 6/10, the brussel sprouts were cooked wonderfully but didn't have a glaze or sauce which made them lack flavor and visual appeal. overall if including the view id give this evening a solid 4/5 stars as service was pretty good despite not getting a refill on my cola and waiting quite a bit for the bill. [[HIGHLIGHT]]but the views were beautiful, the patio was warm and the music was good and the lighting was just right[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. i will possibly revisit but it'll probably be quite a while. read more

Working downtown Cincinnati, it was a quick 8min drive to the Incline Public House for lunch. Easily doable with an hour. It was a beautiful day and we opted to eat outdoors on the patio. Our server Roman was excellent, super attentive. The food was great, refreshing on a hot day. The only drawback is that this was lunch and a beer would have been great!
