Board Game Lounge Admission ($10) - This admission includes access to their wide variety of board games and a soda, tea, coffee, or cookie! Their Chocolate Chip Cookie was thick and chewy and I appreciated the sea salt sprinkled on top. We had so much fun here and I highly recommend spending a few hours here to play some board games!

Such a fun place to hang out with friends or try for a date night. Entrance fee is $10 per person which includes one of the soda or basic coffee/tea drinks or $3 off a more premium drinks. The employees are friendly and provided game recommendations. The vibe is like a board game speakeasy. All the games seemed brand new and in great condition. We played Hues and Cues and Trouble which was such a fun nostalgic memory from playing as a kid. Highly recommend checking out this spot.

What a charming game room located in the heart of downtown Carlsbad. Admission is $8, which includes free coffee and tea. You can also order baked goods and hot snacks from the staff. They have a huge assortment of games, and your admission lets you play all day.

Our fabulous hosts!!! Coffee? Tea? Dessert? Is all complimentary while playing.

My friend and I stumbled upon this great shop while strolling around Carlsbad Village. Our curiosity paid off as the idea of passing the time playing board games with complimentary drink and dessert was a win win for just $8/ person - we could play until the place closes. There was a plethora of board games and oh boy, did we ever have such fun!!Feeling bored and got the Jones for something strategic? Wanna feel like a kid again? Well, they've got Monopoly, card games... games we were even trying for the first time (proprietors/attendants Alex, Madison, Anthony and/or Max will give you a hand at playing a deck or two). Heck, I think we played until they closed for the evening. Oh ya, we coming back!

This is just a picture I snapped of people sitting at tables playing games.

I stopped in to The Boarding Home today while in the Carlsbad Village and found a new cafe where you can invite your friends and play board games! They have really delicious food and drinks you can purchase while there. And the store is full of board games for purchase. I got two card games that are versions of board games to take with me when I travel with my family. I will go back soon!

My favorite spot in the center and a great addition. The drinks are really good and it's a desperately needed third space where you can just hangout with friend and play board games. I hope they expand their hours later into the night. Fantastic service, will continue to go. Better experienced with friends!

[Parking]: Free private parking lot with plenty of available spots. [Reservation & Price]: Our party booked an advanced one-hour reservation session on the website from 4 PM to 5 PM on a Saturday. The price is $20 + $0.51 booking fee per adult (ages 16+) for a one-hour session. [Experience]: Our party checked in at the front counter and hung out in the waiting area. The waiting area sells various pug merchandise and also has a touchscreen pinball machine. There is a unisex restroom available. Once our party stepped into a separate pink & clean room, the staff went over instructions on how to handle the pugs. Visitors are allowed to pick up the pugs but cannot carry them while standing. Any pug wearing a pink bandana is available for adoption. Each of us received few free treats to start, but additional treats like pupccino (a small pup cup), sausage treats, or fruit cups are available for purchase. The staff was friendly and was playing fun & energetic background music during the pug session. Our party didn't stay for the entire hour and left around the 45-minute mark because we had a dinner plan afterward. [Conclusion]: Our party had fun playing with the pugs and took plenty of photos. It was a fun and Instagrammable experience & I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who's visiting the Escondido area.

Also, I recommend buying some extra treats for the middle of the session as the whole atmosphere changes during treat time!

On our way home from our mini vacation today was the perfect day to stop by as it's a weekday and there wasn't much/ hardly any traffic we around just past 1030am and found metered parking near by immediately. When we arrived there were no other customers we got to take pictures of and with the house and motorcycle. I'm not much of a pie person the only pie I usually eat is pumpkin but I was open to any other pastries they offered. My husband wanted to try the pies and I ended up ordering my sister some to take back home. We ordered 2 sets of the 3pack. One order all apple pie the other was cherry, apple and a blueberry. I also added a dark chocolate brownie and lemon bar. As my order was ready and called the kind lady said she labeled everything and added some extra. We walked on the boardwalk for a few minutes then walked back to eat our pies at their outside cover patio. Saw that she gave us an extra 4pies!! That was so generous. I decided to give them all a try and oh my... they were all delicious. It was warm, the crust was alittle flakey it had a nice little crunch yet also soft and the crust flavor was SO delicious. Loved that the flavors were not overwhelming sweet! The dark chocolate brownie and the lemon bar were cold and didn't think anything special about it a bit in the sweeter side. Overall it was a great experience really enjoyed the pies and the service was amazing!

I greeted friends, grabbed a NA bevie some mango deliciousness and parked my bottom at the closest table. The speakers topic was Crayons over Constitution so she provided us with blank poster board and crayons to doodle which I was totally happy to partake in. Mid presentation, I grabbed the other NA bevie, fruit punch of some sort. It was a wee bit too sweet for me, I should have gotten the mango bevie again but you never know what you'll like of you don't new things right?
