I didn't try their pies since it was luck of selection but I came here for taking pics. It was cool they keep Charlie's house from Top Gun movie. There was a replica motorcycle outside and mat people taking pics.

Cute little Movie prop house! Large cups of juice. Didn't try the pie not a pie person. Employees are nice and service was fast. It was a slow day though only maybe 8 people in the whole place.

Cute spot in Oceanside, CA. Was told it was where Top Gun was filmed so decided to swing by to check it out and pick up some sweets. The Apple Pie was fairly small but I enjoyed it with my hot cup of coffee. Service was workers didn't really talk to the guest or acknowledge them (guest just looked at each other and was wondering when they would get help). Kind of weird. They will eventually will come up to you and take your order. I didn't come here for the service though. I love the movie Top Gun and really just wanted to check out the house and support a local business while I was there. For someone that loves the Movie Top Gun - definitely recommend checking it out. Consider walking in for a cup of coffee then taking a walk along Pacific Street.

3 stars for the cute house and the Top Gun memorabilia! One star for service... the lady who helped us was hidden in the back for a long time when we wanted to order. She finally came out and was SO RUDE! Brought her big Starbucks out with her and grumpily took our order. The pie was just ok. Needed more filling and one was undercooked. But one was decent and I was happy to have a gluten free pie! Go to see the cute house and skip the pie!

The Famous High Pie at the Top Gun House! Charming, beachy shop dishing out sweet and savory hand pies, most of them apple, cherry, or blueberry flavored, as well as coffee, ice cream and other desserts. They were out of everything. No pies baked, no soft serve, etc.

Staff was nice but seemed a bit distracted by their phones. The 3 pack pies were hot and fresh, great flavor, and not too sweet of fillings. The lemon tart was very nice and creamy. I will say their display is a little off putting but rest assured they dont come out like presented when you order!

Had hi hopes thinking the pie was going to be great as friend was raving about it. I thought it would have been hot when we got it but it was cold and doughy. It was under cook as dough was raw inside.

These pies were delicious, cooked fresh light, and crispy. Great size for a quick snack and love that it came in 3's. Located at the top gun house so it was cool just to take pics there while you snacked on a yummy dessert. They also have lots of outside seating.

This place is interesting because the history behind it. It was a historic house in Oceanside prior to the movie Top Gun. It was used as Kelly McGillis' house in the movie. It features Maverick's motorcycle up front. It feels a bit like the house in "Up", a tiny old house surrounded by buildings. The food is just ok. The brownie tastes like it came out of a box mix, the high pie feels like a McDonald's apple pie and the caramel apple, while delicious, there was nothing special about it. Come here for the atmosphere and the great view of Oceanside Pier.

Adorable old house that was featured in the 1980's Top Gun movie. Service was decent. We tried the Apple, cherry, & guava pies. The cherry definitely tasted like canned filling. The apple was too sweet. The guava was my favorite.

It's the Top Gun house! That's where they shoot one of the movie scenes. Very cute inside and outside. They sell pies that look delicious. Parking is nearby in a shared lot for only $5! The seabird resort is right across street. There's lots of restaurants on the beach and near the pier. You can easily spent half day here. It's only 1.5 hours from LA so I'll definitely visit again!

food: not amazing but tolerable the pies were actually enjoyable in my opinion the whoopie pie was hard to keep eating - hard all around, the chocolate was almost stuck to the whip cream, an overall weird texture to deem as food service: the cashier was very patient the employee that made the food seemed a little stressed or something but she did her job, ambiance: 10/10 great vibes very nice not snobby felt like i was in a little art exhibit but where they are kind i would come back again maybe i would try the brownie it looked like it might taste good

We came by yesterday (Friday, 11/29) and to our luck, no line! We walked right in. The place itself is small, but cute. The pastries were so good!

Three pies in one cool ass box .

The price is $20 + $0.51 booking fee per adult (ages 16+) for a one-hour session. [Experience]: Our party checked in at the front counter and hung out in the waiting area. The waiting area sells various pug merchandise and also has a touchscreen pinball machine. There is a unisex restroom available. Once our party stepped into a separate pink & clean room, the staff went over instructions on how to handle the pugs. Visitors are allowed to pick up the pugs but cannot carry them while standing. Any pug wearing a pink bandana is available for adoption. Each of us received few free treats to start, but additional treats like pupccino (a small pup cup), sausage treats, or fruit cups are available for purchase. The staff was friendly and was playing fun & energetic background music during the pug session. Our party didn't stay for the entire hour and left around the 45-minute mark because we had a dinner plan afterward. [Conclusion]: Our party had fun playing with the pugs and took plenty of photos. It was a fun and Instagrammable experience & I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who's visiting the Escondido area.

Both were very good! Special thank you to the barista for the recommendation and the delicious drink. The play-room itself was very nice, with plenty of seating, toys, and CATS! Even with six other guests in the same hour, there was plenty of everything to go around. As with any group of animals (and people), each had their own personality and preferences. JC stayed perched on the palm tree and loved to get pet. The older Bengal cat didn't like being touched, but was a joy to watch. Tatiana (pictured on the table) was slow to warm up to us, but loved to play with the cat dancer. There were about ten cats altogether. The employee inside clearly cares about each cat. Each customer typically waits 20-30 minutes to enter as part of how they do things, even if there is open seating inside. Not sure if they use a timer to space entries but it seems consistent. They take one group in at a time. Interior: A few tables around the wall and then bar seating. Would not recommend for parties greater than 2, there just isn't the space. They welcome service animals, babies/children and strollers from what I observed. The music was very, very loud. It was difficult to hold a conversation. I did not see a bathroom. Ordering process: After seating you wait for a little bit for them to bring small water cups and a QR menu with a table number and a set of rules. They do not have a physical menu, you must use your phone to order. Cell phone reception was dicey and took a long time to load. They have an interesting concept where you have a digital 'tab' open on their toast website. Unfortunately you must provide your full name, email and phone number. They have pour over drinks (note these can take 15-20 minutes), matcha, Hojicha and others. You may only order one drink per person at a time. They have a small snack menu with rotating foods. They use oat milk only. No substitutions allowed. After mobile ordering, drinks take 20-30 minutes as part of their take it slow vibe. Matcha $8 is from Paru tea and was very good. Hojicha $8 was too milky and didn't have a strong enough flavor. When you are done you walk to the register by the door and wait to be checked out. If they are making a drink you wait until they are finished. I wasn't really a fan. Staff were brusque. Music was too loud to converse.

I got called "hey emo!" which is a very very demeaning. I have not ever heard anyone call someone that name since high school in a long time since before early 2010s I don't care what anyone else thinks of me, I was not bothered at all. But just in case, i was so nervous but I had very little bit of strength to tell the store manager what happened and had the audacity to shrug it off, " if there's anything else I can do for you." Well, you know what then, since I was harassed and degraded, I will never come back here again.
