A great spot for lunch with a very nice patio. A wide variety of delicious and interesting sandwiches and a store full of drinks, snacks, sides and the like. Super friendly people, and a great vibe make this a favorite spot downtown. My two favorite sandwiches are the ham and jam...Ham, hot capicola, chorizo, strawberry jam, brie, pepper relish, arugula, and the Gucci belt...Salami, mortadella, capicola, ham, provolone fresh mozzarella, giardiniera. spring mix, tomato, mayo, onion, oregano, oil & vinegar. It is a great spot to grab a sandwich some chips, a cookie and enjoy a hidden patio. You should give them a try!

If your in downtown Greesboro and need a good sandwich, The Bodega is the only answer. Every time I go there I leave happy and satisfied! Last time I ate there I had the Cobb Sammie! This one along with every other sandwich they have made for me has been top notch!! The staff is the best, always friendly and quick to help! As far as what your walking into, it's a bodega but a pretty nice one. Its always clean and shelves are well stocked with a wide variety of interesting items. If you are interested in hemp drinks, their store brand is one of the best I've had. I cannot recommend the place enough! 11 out of 10!!

Such a cool little spot with a killer vibe and the best sandwiches in town! The salads were pretty delicious as well! Really chill unique atmosphere. Fun selection of sandwiches and you can always make your own. I highly recommend taking a leap of faith and trusting the process. Pick one from the board. Our family has been here a few times and we've tried a lot of the sandwiches. I was skeptical at first but glad I went for it! Service is great efficient and ready to help answer any questions you may have!

Front street parking available, but subject to walk. Looks like a little hole in the wall from the outside, but the inside is very clean and up to date. The best adult convenient store with all the options I picked up a sandwich, mto. Greek Turkey; Fresh flavor all around! Quick and friendly service. Very informative and honest with the different products behind the counter. Looking forward to trying the other plates and sandwiches

Love everything about this place. Awesome food, drinks, and tons to look at. Gucci belt sandwich was delicious and came out super quick.

Gucci Gucci Gucci... it lives up to the hype. The Gucci Belt sandwich rocks a true Italian style sub. Fresh meats, cured meats, fresh mozzarella, soft fresh bread, and a very tasty giardiniera spread. It's packed solid and absolutely huge. The place itself is more than just a sandwich shop. It's also a store with snacks, treats, beer, and wine. The menu has plenty of options, including some unique one-offs, so there's really something for everyone. The interior has just a few bar style seats, but there is a cozy patio with seating out back. Parking is decent for downtown, with street spots nearby and a garage directly across the street. The only reason this isn't a 5-star review is the price. My sandwich alone (no chips, no drink, just tax and a small tip) came out to just over $20. That's steep, no matter how high-end the sandwich is. Still, it's a great spot, and among the top in Greensboro. My personal #1 for sandwiches is still Giacomo's, but The Bodega is right up there... if you don't mind the price.

Although this convenience store is remnant of the bodegas I'm use to in the northern states, it's still a very cute spot. They have some Wu-Tang logo stickers and ads placed in the store. I mentioned it to the cashier that I loved it, and he gave me a sticker. It will be placed on my laptop. They have local brand, and store brand versions of various drinks and treats. They sell THC products, deserts, sandwiches and salads. I ordered a Ham & Jam sandwich. Ham, hot capicola, chorizo, strawberry jam, brie, pepper relish, arugula. Despite the ton of arugula, it was really good. Savory. There's a few other sandwiches I will be returning to try.

First off, Wu Tang Forever! Secondly, this joint is pretty awesome. A co-worker has talked about The Bodega for months. We finally made a trip during our lunch break. The very first thing I noticed at the entry of the business was a "Presidents are Temporary/Wu-Tang is Forever" sign (there was a sign in the store too-see pics). I immediately thought that any business down with RZA & Method Man being forever has to make a good sandwich. The interior of the store embodies a small convenience store. The Bodega offers a number of items from freshly made sandwiches & salads, Rap Snacks, and hemp infused Bo-Soda. The staff member that assisted us was friendly. I took a moment to compliment the Wu-Tang sign outside & inside of the store. He mentioned that they actually sell the signs. Definitely gave me something to think about. During my visit, I ordered the Raquel sandwich minus the pesto mayo. The sandwich was fresh and absolutely delicious. Their menu is filled with a variety of flavor combinations. I have to admit that it took me a minute or two to settle on one choice. The Raquel was the perfect sandwich for my first visit to The Bodega. You have to check this place out the next time you are in Downtown Greensboro. You won't regret it.

Not the greatest but not the worst. Need to change meat supplier. Boars head would definitely make a difference. Change the music a bit. Most bodegas play Spanish music not hip hop. Service was good. If I'm in the area maybe but just to make a destination, nah I will pass."

I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and was finally able to stop in this past weekend. It is tucked away in the cutest corner of downtown Greensboro with a charming patio space. They have a wide range of different drinks, snacks and clothing for sale along with their sandwiches that I enjoyed browsing during our brief wait for our food. Staff welcomed us upon walking in and made us feel comfortable taking our time to look at the menu! I had the turkey caesar sandwich and my husband got the chicken donatella which were both delicious! Our sandwiches were full with meat and toppings and the bread was super soft and delicious. The outdoor patio space was lovely as well, overall we had a great experience here and will definitely be returning customers!

Finally got a chance to visit the bodega. I have followed this place for years on social media, and drooled over the many pictures of mouth watering sandwiches they post. Upon walking in, it was clear they sell a lot of cbd, delta8/9 drinks, snacks and everything you may need to appease your appetite after partaking in those edibles. The cashier was friendly as we navigated the large menu board. I opted for the Turkey Caesar, with a Dr Pepper. My wife picked a sandwich, a coke and we split a bag of chips. The food came out quickly and we started eating on their small side patio, but ultimately had to find a less windy spot. The food was great, the sandwiches packed full and great flavor combinations, but it was definitely a bit expensive in my opinion. Our total bill for (2) sandwiches, (2) cans of soda and a bag of chips was around $40, which just seems high to me. But the food was good, service quick, and the options availed for a local stone are abundant. I'd say it's worth checking out, but just be warned about the price.

Great visit and would recommend. Nice location in downtown Greensboro. Install the Park Mobil App to park. Wife and I got sandwiches and can sodas that were tasty. I got the Ham + Jam which was unique and fresh. Yum! Wife chicken salad wrap which she enjoyed. Counter service was friendly. The store displays were nice and everything clean! Too clean for a Bodega maybe...Ha! Higher end bottle wine was cool to see. Lots of unique items and merchandise is offered for sale. A wide range of chilled bottle and can beverages is available. On warm days you can enjoy their side patio. If not warm they offer a few indoor bar seats. I'm in between a 4-5 on this one, so for a first visit a 4 seems to suit them. I would recommend and return next time in town.

Finally had the opportunity to try a sandwich from The Bodega! It's no doubt a great, tasty, hearty sandwich but I have few notes, some of which are totally preference! Let's hit on some categories: Location - convenient in downtown. Parking is a pain but there's a deck right across the way and it's relatively easy to get in and out of. Be on the lookout for the shop, or you might miss it. It's on the very end of its building. Price - this might be its biggest downfall. It's a little pricey, particularly compared to other sandwich shops. But its location and size of sandwich allows it to be a little more pricey. The sandwich itself was $15 or $16, and with chips/tip it was about $20 (no drink). Sandwich options - tons! Truly something for everyone and it's hard to narrow it down. They're cold only, though, so if you like a hot sandwich this might not be the place for you! Sandwich - delicious! I ordered the Gucci Belt (basically their italian). I love the mayo on it compared to other delis that might not put mayo on theirs. The meat was flavorful and plentiful. I thought the lettuce could have been fresher. The flavors marry well, and it's a good bite. It's also a big sandwich! You could easily get two meals out of this. Side options - mainly chips and snacks around the bodega. I did spy some potato salad and chicken salad options that looked yummy! Service - quick! I was in and out. The lady that took my order was friendly. Patio - so cute out there! Love the flowers and coziness of the area. A great place to have lunch on a nice day. Overall, I'll be back to try some more sandwiches. It's a must try, I think, since it's a GSO staple. I may have other favorite Italian sandwiches in town, but like I said I will be back to try some other options!

THAT PATIO...WOW!…read more This spot at Revolution Mill is outstanding from top to bottom. The food, the ambiance and the service are stellar. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves as far as the quality of the food and drinks served here. Everything from the apps and drinks, to the steaks and mains were top notch. Perfectly cooked juicy steaks, up there with the best of the best in the area. You won't go wrong with anything off of this menu, and the bartenders know what they're doing with delicious cocktails. In this review, I really want to emphasize the absolutely picture perfect patio they offer. First off, the interior space is large and beautiful. From the main dining room, to the large bar, and even the 2nd floor dining area. And then feast your eyes on the large wrap around patio, with an added separate bar and covered area as well. There are maybe a handful of great patio dining experiences in Greensboro that aren't on a main busy street or facing a parking lot. And those are great, but few and far in between. This patio stands with the best of them. No busy street. No loud parking lot. A raised area with flowing water, lush greenery and even a serene fountain that all surround this wrap around and elevated patio. Just an excellent experience for drinks, food, friends and family, or all of the above. We enjoy bellying up to a bar for drinks and happy hr, we enjoy going to places for a few apps, and we also enjoy tasty food and the whole experience. This has now become one of the top spots in our rotation for happy hr drinks, a few snacks, or for a full dining experience. If you haven't been yet...go. If you've already enjoyed the amazing food in their main dining area or bar...come back and enjoy this lovely patio experience.

I arrived a little early and to decided to have a cocktail while I waited. I went to the empty bar and was totally ignored for approximately 15 minutes, I waited patiently as it was busy, but there was no one else at bar! Someone finally acknowledged me and gave me a menu after I said I just want a cocktail. She gave me the menu and walked away, only to pass by me several times without acknowledging me anymore! I left and went to deck bar and experienced the same treatment. I went to wait for the party to arrive, the hostess asked was it to warm outside, I responded no and explained my experience. He immediately apologized for my experience and told someone about my experience, she did take my drink order and brought it to me. We were a party of 14 and seated, waitress took our appetizer orders which arrived approximately 30-40 minutes later. Again, I will say it was busy, but wait time for appetizers was unacceptable!! The waitress was serving two large parties with no assistance from anyone. Our dinner orders were taken and took a ridiculous amount of time to receive, one guest started a timer after appetizer wait and it took 52 minutes to entrees to be received ! I didn't even eat my meal, I just got it to go. We had to ask for water refills and had to clear our own appetizers plates. I don't blame waitress, I blame management for not giving her help. Needless to say, Kau is definitely a thumbs down for me I will say it's a nice area, but the service we received sucked!!!! Technically I give ZERO STARS and will not recommend to anyone and will not hesitate to share my experience if I hear anyone mention Kau!!
