Hole 19 is cool. Their menu seems simple enough, and plenty of beer options too. The highlight of their draft lineup was definitely the Mango Cart. I also happened to be there for Music Bingo night, which was fun! As for the food, it was a bit of a mixed bag. The fries were great actually. Very crispy, well-seasoned, and exactly what you want with fries. Sadly, the chicken tenders, were a tad overdone and a little on the dry side. Their breading was good though. That being said, the vibes, the beer selection, and the entertainment are top-notch. I'll definitely be back for another round of Mango Cart since I know they serve it well! read more

This is one I'm especially upset about. We've been here numerous times in the past and had a great experience with quality food. On this weekday during happy hour, we had a bad experience unfortunately. Our server was amazing though! Giving her props for her friendly demeanor and great service. Drinks were also cold and refreshing. Where it turned sour: our Chef's Special appetizer plate. The mozzarella sticks were hollow. Not just thin, but completely hollow with no cheese, just an outer shell. The "beef" empanadas had no beef inside. Again, mainly hollow with only a little cheese inside. Overcooked and almost impossible to chew. They were also out of some pickled items that were supposed to be on the plate, and they substituted some old strawberries, which definitely did not complement anything on this plate. We were here for a full meal, but we stopped here and did not order our main courses. ***MOST IMPORTANTLY*** Some employees were engaging in activities inside the establishment, which are not conducive to a restaurant in any capacity. A call will be made to management and/or the owner(s). We're highly hopeful this is a one-off experience and these issues will be rectified going forward. We love this place. Stopped by Hole on a Wednesday evening and was able to be entertained by the crowd doing bingo and trivia. I did note that there was a couple people that seemed to be regulars that were a bit rowdy. The staff was great and while there is a large menu the options aren't super diverse so ordering was easier. Prices range with standard bar food with some additional items are offered. The highlight of the experience was the wings. They have offerings of 6 for $12 or 12 for $23. For the price my standards were high. The wings are meaty and cooked extremely well, but both the Hole hot and lemon pepper wings did not hold much flavor. The wings were cooked so well I didn't miss the sauce too much but would have made these wings peak. Will definitely try again. read more

Had lunch with my favorite companion at Hole 19. First visit and it will not be the last. The atmosphere is a nice, spacious golf-themed sports bar style. Nice amount of televisions to view sports, and a playlist that I favored greatly---Walking on Sunshine,Love Shack,My Girl, Ain't No Mountain High Enough, and How Sweet It Is (to be loved by you), just to name a few! Our server was nice, providing specials on the menu, and guidance on best menu options to choose. The day I was there, Hole 19 had shrimp and grits. Man, I wish I would have gotten it! Perhaps when I return, it will still be an option. I chose the Jammin Goat smash with chips and my companion, the classic burger with fries. Wanted to try a new place and heard this was vibe! Let me tell you the rumors are not wrong!!! I went on music/trivia night (which I love) so it was a vibe with that alone. I was greeted by Jade and she was amazing the entire time! She made drink recommendations which I wanted to try most of them but couldn't due to an allergy I have but that didn't stop her. She kept going until we found something that fit my tastebuds which was the Hole 19 Azalea and it was perfect. Not too sweet and not too bitter/brut if you will. Then on to the food. I couldn't just try one thing. I started with appetizers: St Louis Ribs and Sweet Thai Chilli wings. Let me tell you....those ribs were tender and falling off the bones. For the wings....dare I say it....The BEST wings I've had in town! The crisp was perfection and it was drowning in sauce but you knew it was there! For an entree I got the Caribbean Snapper but I totally forgot to get a picture of it. Trust it was delicious. It came with Brussels that you can get plain or candied and potatoes. This place was 10/10 and I will definitely be returning again and for my sports enthusiasts, they say Saturday and Sunday are the best for watching the game and I have to agree with all the TVs they have around the place. Tucked away gem with great food! I visited Hope 19 on a Friday and much to my surprise, it was empty for a Friday night. That didn't deter me though because I had already heard great things. I was immediately greeted and offered my choice of seats in the restaurant. I sat down and waited about 5-7 minutes before the server came to my table. She apologized but I noticed that she was the only waitress besides the bartender. She had all the tables inside (about 3) and a large party outside. She was very attentive nonetheless. On to the food-I ordered a Blueberry Tequila Pineapple Sour-it was super refreshing and the flavors balanced perfectly. I ordered the Spicy Cowboy Smash Burger and it was excellent! Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and all the flavors complemented each other well. I got a side Caesar-it came with tomatoes which was an interesting twist but I liked it. I only had appetizers and both were good: the fried green tomatoes with pimento, bacon, crispy onion strings were a good portion and quite filling, and the fried ribs were tasty. Both were reasonably priced too. Decor was nothing to write home about, plenty of space at bar and tables. There was a musician setting up for a Thursday night session. Shame I couldn't stay to watch. Logan was my server and he was attentive. If you're not in a hurry and willing to wait a bit, the food is worth it! Loved the clean, golf-themed ambiance. Our visit in a Sunday afternoon started with Hangover Mary's (drink special for the day) and an order of original Buffalo wings. I must say that both hit the spot. While there was nothing fancy about the drink, it was solid. The wings were cooked perfectly and I enjoyed the flavor of their sauce. A lot of places just pack the heat and there's no flavor, so I would say they land near the top for me in terms of places I'll go if I'm in the mood for wings. I also ordered the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese and bacon because I will always try fried green tomatoes if they're on the menu. Again, very satisfied. They were just right in terms of thickness, the tomatoes weren't mushy, and the fry batter was perfect all the way through. Spot on! My kids had the fish tacos and the classic smash burger. I will say it would've been nice to have the kids menu as an option before we ordered rather than finding it ourselves after eating. So, if you're not provided one, know it exists. My son LOVED the fish tacos so much so that he asked for a second portion. We had all the garnishes on the side but he did try the chipotle mayo and really enjoyed it with the taco. The classic smashburger was also delicious and cooked to the right level of "done" but still juicy. I will say that service is slow but I noticed they're hiring kitchen staff and that only one server was handling the floor. I assume maybe there was only one person in the kitchen as well. In any case, shout out to whomever was in the kitchen because they were fabulous! The texture of the burger was top notch, but lacked flavor. I tasted the cheese the most. The bun was soft and had a really nice flavor. The toppings were good. The star of the show tonight was the hot chips. Now, that is their money maker. I loved the ranch. The chips were warm, not too greasy and had a very nice crunch. They need a drink menu. If they have drink menus, we didn't get one. The appetizer prices cost as much as the meal. They have specials so I would check those out, wish they had actual golf simulators or putting greens. We ordered the braised short rib, fried chicken, and the snapper sandwich, along with Brussels sprouts and sweet potato fries. Hole 19 is reminiscent of a golf course clubhouse, except in my opinion the food was much heavier / fried than at a typical golf club. I ordered lavender lemonade from the bar menu and asked for no alcohol and it was only $3! I wanted a club sandwich because that's my golf club go-to. The server told me they were "out." I'm not sure if it was a specific ingredient or bread... but this was 12 pm on a Sunday. I asked the server what she recommended and she said the fish tacos. I said great! But should have read the description. My son ordered the sous vie friend chicken which sounded confusing but he was curious. Also the sweet potato fries. The fish tacos were fried. Like not a light crisp but FRIED like we were at the fair. There was a sauce that was supposed to be chipotle but it didn't have much flavor. I only ate one, as I don't eat a lot of fried foods and this was doing a number on my stomach. My son's sous vie fried chicken was actually as it was described. It was a very tender piece of chicken with a fried coating. There was apple slaw and he said it was good. The sweet potatoes were orange, purple, and white. The honey mustard was mostly honey and super thin... clearly a dressing almost like a vinaigrette. The sweet potatoes tasted starchy. And were very much fried. Everything was fried. The service was soo slow. Two servers were working but it took 45 min for our appetizer and then our meal came out after that. The ambiance was very "old boys club" golf focused. By the name I thought there might be a putting green as decor but it was just a sports bar with two golf themed video games. This place is a HIDDEN GEM! Friends and I have been twice in the past week! Our Server (Dee), the bartender (Taylor) and the cook (Madden) are absolutely phenomenal! They had multiple tv's each playing something different. I had to sit close to the cash register bc the only other empty spot was dirty and never got cleaned while I was there. Berit is amazing. Love her and will definitely be back to see her. I wanted the wings but by the time I got there, they were sold out of quite a few things. So I ordered the Chef's plate. That included a sample of a few things like pimento cheese, mozzarella sticks, sausage, beef empanadas, cheese bites, and pickled red onions. I also ordered a mimosa since the they were only $5. I had the day off because of the holiday, however, my wife did not. We decided I would come to Greensboro and take her out to lunch. I let her pick where to go since she is more familiar with the area around her work. She did some checking on Yelp and several good options were closed on Monday's. She saw that Erik, our Community Manager really likes "Hole 19 Scratch Kitchen" and suggested it, to which I replied, "let's check it out". We arrived at about 1pm, Hole 19 is located at the end of a nicely maintained small strip mall with ample parking. I snapped a couple of pictures and we walked inside, there were about four tables seated. We were immediately greeted and told to sit anywhere we like, we chose a high top table. I just happened to notice against the far wall was a familiar face, it was Erik and his wife. We said hello and found it funny that we stumbled into them after commenting that we had seen several reviews and comments which ultimately led us here. Erik shared with us that he has enjoyed everything there but his favorite is the fried snapper sandwich. We were promptly provided menu's and offered drinks. Berit,our server explained they are beginning a new brunch menu and told us about those offerings which are available for lunch during the week. We perused the menu and made our choices. My wife decided to get the Chicken Caesar salad along with a side of sweet potato fries. Although I had a few items of interest, I ended up selecting the Pimento Cheese Smash Burger with hot chips. The theme of the restaurant is pretty obvious. Hole 19 is the place you go after playing 18 holes of golf. It's decorated tastefully and appears to be very clean and well taken care of. Customers are able to enjoy all sports on the 10+ TV's scattered throughout. Hole 19 also features a full bar with 12 beer taps. We looked over the February cocktail list and it sounded really good! Our food arrived in a timely manner and we were immediately impressed. My wife thought her Chicken Caesar Salad looked and the sweet potato fries looked great. My burger was everything I look for in a burger. This particular burger features thick cut applewood bacon, house pimento cheese, bibb lettuce, crispy onions and two smash burger patties, it was huge! I came for the fish sandwich and was not disappointed! So flaky, yet so crunchy. It really is a perfect bite. I could only finish half of it because it's huge and I also had some appetizers beforehand. The zucchini fries were amazing. I could eat a basket of those by itself. The fried green tomato appetizer was my second favorite thing. The tomatoes are thick cut and the pimento cheese was generously portioned and had a mild and balanced flavor. I actually had friends visiting from Japan and they had tried wings at several places so they chose to get the sweet chili wings with Alabama dipping sauce. Somehow the wings were left off the order and we had to wait for them to be prepared after everyone else had started eating, but once they got to us, my friends raved about them. They agreed they were some of the best they had on the trip so far. I will say the smash burger was disappointing. The bun, cheese and toppings towered over the small patty. But the onion rings were great. The club sandwich was just an ordinary club sandwich. We were least impressed with the drinks. They had special cocktails for Valentine's Day. The list did not mention what was in each drink, just the name. We had to ask about each drink but the server was new and wasn't sure. I specifically asked if one was made with Mezcal because I don't like the taste and she told me she wasn't sure but would find out. Moments later another server brought the drink over to the table and I asked her if it had mezcal and she said yes so I had to send it back. The other folks with me chose a couple of old fashioneds and weren't excited by them. I finally got a spicy margarita off menu and that was actually delicious. Went and checked out Hole 19 for a quick dinner. First things first, they are in a shopping center but have plenty of parking. Now lets get to the food. We ordered the pimento cheese fried green tomatoes and sweet thai chili wings. The fried green tomatoes came topped with candied bacons and tobacco onions that were a nice added touch to cut through the acid of the tomatoes. I know I just recently reviewed this place, but I had to come back and leave it some more love for serving me one of the best fish sandwiches I have had in the Triad! The red snapper sandwich is a total winner. You get a really big and thick 8 ounce filet of snapper, perfectly breaded and fried. Crunchy outside, but the softest most flaky inside. On the side i had their onion rings, which are pretty good... but what sets them off is to get the citrus aioli for dipping. Wow, what flavor! This time, we did get the appetizer we were tempted by last time, the chef's plate, kind of like an appetizer sampler and charcuterie board rolled together. Totally worth it. There are some unique tastes there. We loved their chorizo sausage with a bit of their pimento cheese on it. The pimento cheese is very thick, more cheese than mayo (substantially so), just the way I like it. The empanadas were wonderful. Next time we may just split an entree after getting this app, because it was pretty filling for two people. All in all, for a Saturday night and kick off to football season, I would like to see more patrons. So excited about this brand new, beautiful restaurant in Greensboro! Just what this area needed! The building received a clean, refreshing face lift and the minute you walk in you're met with gorgeous green, golf and Master's themed decor. Plenty of TVs, a few games, and fun sayings on the walls. We were also greeted by the super friendly owner - Brianna! She is the absolute sweetest! I immediately felt at home and like I was seeing an old friend. Our waiter, Carlos, was no different and provided excellent and efficient service. We started with a couple of beers, and there are plenty of options, plus unique cocktails. We learned from Brianna that she and her husband were extremely hands on in the design and construction process which is highly evident! The wood seating along the walls was even hand aged by them! I loved hearing about the plans for the patio this summer, super exciting! For lunch we had the Turkey Club (completely sold by the use of and call out to Duke's Mayo - the nectar of the Gods!), Cubano Wrap, and Cobb Salad. The club was outstanding, a really solid sandwich. The wrap was full of meat, delicious mustardy aioli, and the tortilla was seared to perfection. It mimicked a panini. The chips were perfectly seasoned and crispy. We raved over them, and even said you could bag these bad boys up and sell 'em! The Cobb salad was fresh, refreshing and delightful. I immediately could tell that the ranch was homemade, and it was wonderful. We were also given a free dessert for Mother's Day - Tres Leches cake. Please give this a permanent home on the menu! The prices are on point and very competitive. I'm really impressed by Hole 19 and look forward to returning to try some of the other many elevated food options. What a great place! We saw this place on social media and said we had to check it out. The staff were super friendly! We had Dee as our waitress and she was awesome! She was knowledgeable about different menu items and made sure we had what we needed. The food was okay, typical bar food. My fiancé and I ordered wings, fries, onion rings and drinks from the bar. We asked for our wings to be fried hard and they were soft. The flavors we tried were good and flavorful. The ambiance was nice. The ceiling was leaking in two different places one by the main door and where the servers were stationed. When we first arrived one of the waitress said the air conditioning wasn't working so the small leaks could've been from the AC working again. It was nice and cool while we were there. The setting of the restaurant was amazing. It was quiet when we went (very cold inside the restaurant). We could seat our selves only tables are available here and outside dining no booths. The server was very friendly and told us about a few drinks (they do not serve cognac here as we were told). Ordered the food...server disappeared. Someone brought our food (1 order was wrong..I ordered Fried green tomatoes French fries were brought out) server returned apologized and disappeared.....again. The brussels sprouts were serverly BURNT..I do mean crispy chip burnt and left a bad taste in your mouth...we couldn't return the food or ask for fresh veggies because our server never came back..the aoli tasted of straight mayonnaise...the potatoes were very bland like someone forgot to salt the water..at $24 I was DISAPPOINTED..all the raves and good reviews about this restaurant was an epic fail and I was extremely upset. The server finally showed up and we ask for our bill...she ask "did we save room for dessert" not was everything ok...but dessert...we politely declined and paid our $73.67 and sadly walk out of there. The seasonal drink "Bushel & Barrell" w/ apple cider, Chardonnay, whiskey, and a splash of orange juice is fantastic. Burger was perfectly cooked and delicious. They put a tiny sliver of lettuce on there...laughable, really. So I had to ask for extra. I was very surprised with the amount of children that were there on a Friday evening, at around 6 PM. I was hoping for an adult experience, but was bombarded during my meal with screams of dozen or more boys after their soccer matches. It's a family restaurant, so I get it. But I didn't expect that from a sports bar. Service at the bar was superb. I'll be back, but much later when the rug rats are in bed. read more

When I hear craft, I expect some or most food items to be made from scratch. Am I wrong in thinking that way? The guac and queso were definitely not made fresh at the restaurant. I was most excited about the wings because they were recommended on Yelp. My parents owned a bar when I was a kid, so I grew up eating buffalo chicken wings. I'm a bit picky. Here's my take on their wings: Size: big Sauce: perfect amount Spice level: just about right Meat: drumsticks had a fatty consistency, not great. So if it's possible to ask for all non-drumsticks, that would be my recommendation for you wing lovers. read more

Went for lunch and had the fish tacos. The fish was fresh and hot but the taco needed something else to round out the flavor profile. The spicy aioli sauce was great and I ended up asking for more. My friend had the snapper sandwich and raved about it. Great service. Would definitely return! read more
