The first time I went I this place I went with my daughter. We both at very active and wanted a derp tissue massage. It was a great experience and we both left with the feeling of being able to stand up straighter. I recently returned due to pain in my Trapezius because of tightness in my shoulders due to my extensive bicycling activity. My Dr. had already prescribed medication and stretching routines. This place has really good reviews for a reason. Scheduled a massage for Saturday morning. Was told that most of the masseuses don't speak very much English so the girls at the front ask that you let them know ahead of time how much pressure you want so they can tell them such as soft, medium, more pressure etc. Im sensitive and don't like too much pressure and I feel like my masseuse did just that. Was my first visit, I had an appointment at 4:30 for a 90 minute royal combination. I arrived at 4:20 and was immediately taken care of and explained everything that I needed to know about the massage and the massage therapists. The also ask you ahead of time of what level of pressure you would prefer and if you are ok with your head and face being massaged. The massage therapists do check with you throughout to ensure that the pressure is ok, and if you want is softer or harder then you can just tell them. They are also very respectful. The prices are reasonable and you get exactly what is detailed. The music that they have playing is relaxing. Best massage I've ever had. Called late Friday for an appt on the weekend. The gentleman that I spoke with was very helpful & informative. On the day of my massage, I arrived and was greeted by the receptionist. Filled out a quick waiver & the receptionist translated to my massage therapist what I wanted. She took me back & got started. The massage was a little more firm than I would have liked (I kept having to say "softer" over and over and I'm still sore today) but it was still very relaxing. First time here. The receptionist was amazing. She was sweet. I read reviews and called to schedule for appointments for four then cancelled to three then changed back to four. She was great about it! Didn't give me attitude or anything. She has such a soft spoken voice and so nice. As for the massage therapist they barely speak any English. That was kind of a bummer but they did an amazing job. Once you go royal you'll be coming back for more!!! Felt so good! Only thing I have to say that made me uncomfortable was when we checked in and the massage therapists were speaking in their language and giggling while looking at us. From the moment they answered the phone I knew were not a typical massage spa. When I arrived for my appointment I was greeted immediately and they explained the process. I have done the 90 minute Royal Treatment and have also had the 60 minute Neck and Shoulder massage. Both treatments were amazing. You are able to pick a scent that you would like in your massage area. I have another 60 minute Neck and Shoulder massage scheduled and I cannot wait! I didn't expect such an inclusive massage when scheduling the Neck and Shoulder massage but you are asked if you get headaches or migraines (and I do) so the masseuse will focus on your face and head area (which is amazing!) I have not been disappointed with any of my services and will continue to return! Also, each client has their own private area for the massage, however the areas are separated by partitions and they do not go all the way to the ceiling. Hands down the best massage I have ever had. Clayton has a true gift and is very intuitive and experienced. Definitely worth checking out. You will not be disappointed. Facial with Fred. Best facial I have ever had. Fred is a Dermalogica expert who has every cool machine and doesn't hold back on using them. He is very knowledgeable and will not push his products. Another very cool thing is before any extractions he believes in doing microdermabrasion first. Any other facial I have gotten elsewhere always charge additional. His price is very reasonable and he gives a very high end facial. Seriously, don't get over charged and waste your money going somewhere else. Lastly, it is really important that if for any reason you are not 100% happy, SAY SOMETHING! They are totally open to fixing it and will. Don't be silent then come Yelp about it. I'm a regular here, been coming for years on the regular like once a week or every couple weeks. Sometimes I tip sometimes I don't because I rarely have cash on me...it is what it is. It's $75 for an hr full body massage and if it I'm not satisfied I'm not going to tip that's just how it goes for me. I went in today for my usual 1 hr full body and I usually like to stick with the same therapist. When my massage was over the therapist leaned into me and said last time you left without leaving a tip so today you need to leave me a bigger tip. I was speechless. ....dumbfounded. So unprofessional and rude. No words other than I've never felt so humiliated and embarrassed and very uncomfortable. Makes sense why the massage was shitty today. I told the girl in front and she said that it is not ok and I said correct that is not ok as I walked out. I don't see how I can ever step foot there again. read more

This place continues to be consistently excellent. Always clean, highly professional, great ambiance and quality device every time. They know me, my physical issues, make accommodations and ask every time if there is anything specific they need to be aware of. If you need anything special, for example I have a really painful sciatic nerve issue that flares up, just let them know. They have specially positioned the pillows, lowered or raised different parts of the bed and even had two employees help me to lay down and get up to be sure I had support without straining my back when it was really bad. I've been going here for about a year. Usually two to three times a month. My back usually aches a lot because of the field I am working in. So it helps to get massages to release my stress and the tensions on my back. Normally go in for the 60 minutes reflexology which is about $30. Then tip $10. And if it's really good I just add extra $5 or $10. I've had a lot of different massage therapist here that worked on me. They are all wonderful and great with their hands. This week I will be going in for the 90 minutes full body massage with Ana. I had a foot reflexology massage with her last week and she told me I had a lot of knots on my upper shoulders and that I had tensions on my glutes lol. Massages are mediocre at best. Service is below par, they do not speak ANY English (Allison who is always at the front desk does speak English, and she will come in and check on you During your massage *awkward) You can not smell the "aromatherapy" during your service. It is open air, as in all of the stalls are open on the top to their neighbors so you always hear what is going on with other massages. Be careful while in this salon, as it has been robbed and the owner fails to communicate with the victim for nearly half a year regarding the theft, even though he carries insurance. I really wanted to like this place, but Fred's utter lack of follow through has forced my 2.5 star down to a one. *** UPDATE *** The day after I posted my review Fred, the owner (old bald white gentleman), finally took steps to remediate the theft that took place in his salon. Because I had frequented the spot numerous times before, I had purchased my sister a gift certificate to try it out (before the theft). She moved out of the area and returned to the certificate to me. Thinking that the past was "water under the bridge" I called to make an appointment and put the certificate to use. I was told to come in at my desired time. As I have my phone number I was then placed on hold, only to be told that they would not be allowed to serve me. I was disappointed, but understood and requested my money then be returned to me. I was told I would need to "make an appointment to speak to the owner". Too bad some are so petty. A simple apology and response to me in the beginning would have went a long way. Character means a lot, particularly when you're in the customer service industry. I just hope they treat their immigrant workers more fairly than their patrons. read more
