I have been coming to TBC for years during crawfish season but today we decided to try their new rolls. We got the lobster roll which is lobster chunks covered in the whole shabang sauce in 2 rolls of Hawaiian Bread. We also got the shrimp poboy. Out of the two I would recommend the poboy because the sauce coating the shrimp was delish, similar to a Baja shrimp/ dynamite shrimp sauce. For me the sauce on the lobster was a bit overpowering as I like a more delicate lobster roll. All rolls come with either lemon pepper fries or Cajun fries - we opted for the Cajun fries which were perfectly crispy and seasoned. We also got the snow crabs which are always a hit! I thought flavor wise it was a little more on the salty side. We also got the soft shell crab and it came with fries. I thought the crawfish was fairly small but also it is not in season so they only had frozen crawfish. I loved the soft shell crab, the server gave us three different sauces and I'm not sure which one it was but it wasn't ketchup or cocktail sauce, but it was delicious. Our server was super kind and really pushed the stars and review for me. We were constantly met and asked if we needed anything and they were super respectful and helpful. We've been to this location numerous times and really enjoy the food. We decided to come in on Tuesday Feb 25 with 4 adults and 2 kids. Half of the tables were already cleaned with the chairs on top of them and we were told it was a 35 minute wait. It also looked like another family was waiting and more people walked in when we walked out. Very odd that they close half of the tables when they seem very busy and this is at 7pm when they close at 10pm. Ownership should be ashamed that they have 2 hosts explaining this instead of having one of them become a server, which isn't very hard for a crab restaurant. We won't be recommending or going back anytime soon to this location which is pretty sad because we spend $350-$500 each time plus a hefty tip for the "service." read more

The dismissive attitude was honestly more disappointing than the cold seafood. And what makes it worse? This isn't even the first time. My family and I have dined in multiple times, and on several occasions our food still came out cold. So yes, we actually frequent this location, or at least we used to. You'd think being regulars would get us better service, not cold meals and incorrect excuses. At this point, I'm done giving this Plano location the benefit of the doubt. If you order online, arrive very quickly. If you don't, it may be cold by the time you pick it up. The options for flavoring and heat level is also very comprehensive. The heat level is there. Unfortunately, the service was really slow. Whenever we asked for gloves or additional food, it took quite a while for them to come around, and there were no updates from the staff unless we directly asked. The food was inconsistent. Sometimes, the sauce hadn't marinated enough, especially with the crab, but dipping it in the marinade helped a bit. The other round of crab, however, was nearly just right. The potatoes were pretty good, though they were a bit pricey. The sausages, on the other hand, were quite salty. Additionally, the gloves provided were too large and tore easily, so we had to request more several times. To top it off, they were out of both crawfish and lobster during our visit. On a positive note, our server was really nice. They tried to make conversation, were good about making recommendations, and answered our questions thoroughly. We enjoyed our weekday dinner here. The snow crab was fire. It was the most fresh crab legs and tasted slightly sweet. We also ordered live crayfish which is just starting to ve the season. For sauce we typically get the whole shebang, and it was usually good but a little too much for me this time. Three sauces combined was a bit too much flavors for me personally. There was usually more sauce in the bag too, and we love putting the sauce over rice, however this time we were slightly disappointed.
