    Ordering from web

Located inside the Revolving Kitchen Food Hall in the Fairview Town Center mall, Tayta Peruvian Restaurant serves up a variety of Peruvian favorites, including a decent choice of seafood dishes. It was a good dining visit, and I was glad that I got to experience it. It shares a dining hall with the many other restauranteurs, but has its own kitchen area in the back. It's a large menu: pretty sure it includes all the classic dishes from Peru. Since I was by myself, decided to get something that I had never tried before, and just hoping to find one more dish that will give me a taste sensation that I've never experienced (hopefully good). The best ceviche I've had before was Peruvian, so decided to get the Tayta Mixto $19 (from menu: "Mixed seafood marinated in onion, cilantro, yuca, and sweet potato accompanied by cancha"). Everything is done through mobile, and used the table QR code to place and pay. It got delivered to the table soon after I placed the mobile order (with text alerts telling me order status). It looked beautiful, with a variety of colors and textures. The portions were small, with a bit of seafood (two shrimp, couple pieces of bass, one NZ mussel, and some cooked squid rings) marinated in a very light, delicate citrus juice marinade...a really good ceviche base, but the seafood ingredients were average at best...wish they had included other seafood like scallops or snapper. Surrounding the mound of ceviche, were cancha (toasted corn nuts), one slice of sweet potato, a brick of cassava (yuca), iceberg lettuce leaf, and what looked like hominy. I ate all of it...really liked the sweet potato, which paired great with the seafood..the rest I wouldn't have missed if not there. The dish definitely did whet my appetite and I ended up ordering more from a different vendor in the food hall. Can't say the value is there, but it is different and worth trying if interested in Peruvian cuisine.

Jalea with fish, shrimp, and squid. With yucca, corn nuts pickled red onions, sauces. Very good!

I got hooked on Peruvian seafood several years ago in South Miami Beach but never thought I'd find some so good until now. This place is in The Revolving Kitchen ( very unusual place) but it was very open. You order the food through your phone but the food is great! I don't love the phone ordering but the food is excellent.

Ordered parihuela, chicharron de chancho and arroz con mariscos. All seafood dishes are exceptional. My parihuela is freshly made and piping hot. It goes well with the white rice. The Arroz is a little cold. Wish it can be hotter. The yucca on the chicharon is exceptional. That's what I come all the way here for. But the pork should be pork belly like what shown in the menu photo . The chicharon I had is tough and dried. Not the best I have tasted for sure. You won't go wrong with the seafood dishes though.

Inside the revolving kitchen food court, I will admit I had my doubts. My husband is from Peru and I have visited and my mother in law is quite the Peruvian chef so we are quite picky...my husband ordered ceviche and he has always said if the ceviche is good, that tells you how the rest of the food will be. Well it did not disappoint, I got chaufa mixto, papa huancayena and , my sons got lomo saltado and pollo abraza with all the extra sauces. The salsa verde was my favorite. Everything was tasty and fresh. My husband even said it was the best Peruvian food he has had in the states and I don't disagree. The place itself was fancy for a food hall, great decor and ambiance, and a full bar. We had a robot serve us our food but the actual staff in the food hall was helpful and friendly.

Service was pretty fast. Restaurant was clean and the staff there were friendly. The food was pretty tasty and most were pretty good.

Absolutely delicious food! It's not a stand alone restaurant. The location has multiple restaurant kitchens. This food was delicious. The wait staff serves all restaurants. Friendly for sure. I will be back for Tayta and the other places. Very good place for restauteurs to start out. B

So this place is in an upscale food court. They have a robot delivering the food to your table. This is the only vendor that provides real plates and utensils, and they also garnish your dishes. The food is so delicious and not salty like other Peruvian restaurants in the area. We eat here once a week because it's so good.

The food was absolutely delicious and the ambiance was wonderful and perfect for a catch up with my friend: warm, inviting, and perfect service! The burrata salad was outstanding, and the pasta was equally impressive. We also shared the bread pudding for dessert, which was incredible and the perfect ending to the evening. The lobster dishes and wine selection were excellent as well. What really stood out, however, was the exceptional service: attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming without ever being intrusive. To top it all off, our entire dinner came to under $100, which felt like tremendous value for the quality of the food and experience. I only wish we had a location in Los Angeles. Highly recommended!

This location felt like I was inside a fancy boat To start - the most unique and delicious chips I've ever had. I'm coming back first and foremost for the chips! Haven't seen chips this full of flavor before The prickly pear refresher was amazing - just mint, lemon, soda and prickly pear puree? This is one I'm going to make at home The same chips are used for the tuna dip but I'd like to note their pickled jalapeno - that was fire. So much flavor here Shrimp salad was great too, I enjoyed how balanced the dish was The baked alaska was a mix of chocolate and strawberry on the inside - everything was done from scratch. One recommendation is to add a layer between the ice cream and marshmallow is possible The black wagyu gold something tomahawk was divine - maybe better than any bbq I've been to. Nothing was spared here I also got the key lime pie, it was more grainy than I expected and the key lime was mostly in the reduction (?) to be poured on Overall, tomahawk, crackers, prickly pear drink (forgot to mention crab cake) were my favorites Staff was friendly too!

The biggest issue for us was the ordering system. Everyone has to scan a QR code, place their own order, and enter their phone number. For a large group, this became very confusing because when the food came out, there was no clear way to tell who ordered what. We spent a lot of time trying to figure out which dishes belonged to each person. If you're coming with a big party, I definitely recommend making a list of everyone's orders ahead of time so it's easier to organize when the food arrives. The food itself was extremely spicy. Most of the BBQ items -- seafood, chicken, beef, and pork -- seemed to have the same heavy cumin and spicy seasoning, so the flavors started tasting very similar. Personally, that wasn't for us. However, the soy sauce fried rice and the cold noodles were really good and stood out the most from the meal. The service was good overall, although communication was a little difficult at times because it was hard to understand the staff's accents. The restaurant itself was clean and well kept. I think this place may work much better for smaller groups, but for our large party it was stressful and the food flavors were too repetitive for our taste. Unfortunately, it's probably not somewhere we would return to. Also they added 25% tip mandatory without mentioning it anywhere ; It was an experience though

We tried a variety of things including two types of oysters, but I have to say this is my favorite fish and chips in the area. We started with half a dozen raw oysters and they were fresh and delicious! We also ordered a dozen grilled oysters. They were okay, but nothing spectacular and probably not something we would order again. Hubby ordered the fish special that was on the board that day. I can't remember exactly which fish it was, but he said it was just okay. I ordered the snow crab with Cajun butter and unfortunately this was the biggest disappointment. The crab meat was extremely mushy and the texture was just not good at all. I tried several different legs from the cluster just to make sure it wasn't only one bad piece, but they were all the same, so I couldn't finish it. The corn that came with it also tasted old and had a strange sour taste, so I didn't eat that either. The Dragon Fruit Pineapple Mojito, however, was DELICIOUS! Definitely one of the highlights of the meal and I would absolutely order that again. One thing that was a little strange was the timing. Considering how slow it was when we were there, the food seemed to take a little longer than expected to come out, and my drinks took even longer. Overall, it was a mixed experience for us. The raw oysters and mojito were great, the grilled oysters and fish special were just okay, and unfortunately the snow crab entrée was a definite miss. I'm willing to give Anaya's another try and order something completely different if we happen to be in the area, but based on this visit, I wouldn't make a special trip back just to eat here.
