We had a mixed experience at our date night here. The decor is very cute, and had a good vibe. I also think overall their price range is very reasonable. Each of our boil bags came out to around $45-50. However, my bf and I had very different food experiences. Bf loved his bag and the size and quality of his items, and said the kickin sauce was the best boil sauce he had had. Mine, as someone who can't handle spice, was abysmal for what I paid. I got the garlic butter and am not kidding when I say it tasted like water. It needed salt, herbs, garlic, literally anything. I asked the waitress for lemons and that made it more edible, but for $45 it was a very poor experience. Also, one of my snow crab clusters was a lot fresher and higher quality than the other. Service was also a bit slow. I'd say we waited over half an hour for our food, and had trouble getting the waitress's attention. I feel like I wasted my money. Bf said his was the best he's had. That's why I'm ending with a middle rating for this place.

Amazing food and service!! Highly recommend!! Their crawfish is fresh!! Amazing side dishes as well!

Overall, I'd have to say we were disappointed in our experience at this location. The set up was nice, big, and welcoming. However the food, especially the seafood, tasted frozen including the crab. I am not sure if we just didn't go at the right time or stuff is not in season something. The flavoring was decent, but the actual food was just blah. It's a new location so all the staff are brand new and getting hang of the ropes... our waiter was young and kind of made our ordering experience really confusing. We ended up having to order twice because he didn't understand us the first time or got confused. They do offer decent specials though that allow you to order a combo of different meats so nice for families. Glad we got to try it out, but don't think we will be back.

This was a rip off! They charged us $18.50 for a side of potatoes and sausage!! We spoke to the person on duty and they told us no refunds because we ate it. We were going off the menu and it should have been $11.25. Draft beer for $6.25. We asked for the manager and they told us they would not give us their name. Not worth it!

This place is amazing! Pricey, but good. I was surprised at the many differences between this location and the one I visited in Houston. You'd think the menu would be more uniform and pricing would be similar. It's significantly more expensive at this location. The service was great! Everyone was super friendly and helpful. My server even packaged the rest of my food to go. The ambiance was quiet and there were a lot of families dining in. I got the Half and Half Boil with kickin flavor and medium heat and the Garlic Noodles. I highly recommend both, and if you eat like me, this easily will be 2-3 meals.

Went to Kickin' Crab in Plano, TX and it was amazing! I ordered the Snow Crab Special, which came with 1 lb of snow crab, corn or egg, potatoes, and three sausages. Everythinf was super tasty and perfectly seasoned The service was quick and attentive, and the restaurant itself was very clean. The scenery is definitely a vibe--they had it decorated so cute for Valentine's Day, which made the experience even better. Overall, great food, great atmosphere, and great service. I would definitely go again and highly recommend if you're craving a good seafood boil!

Absolutely terrible experience last night. We waited over 1 hour for our boil after seeing guests arriving after us receiving their boil. After speaking to the manager (she wouldn't give her name) she refused to take care of us and comped our drink like she thought that would fix the issue. The "manager" was completely unprofessional and was yelling at us at our table after refusing to take care of anything. Also, all of the Food Service Manager certifications on the wall are expired!

We ordered two sets of beer flights, they were good overall, and I especially loved the mango and pineapple ones. For food, we got the BBQ chicken flatbread and a burger. The chicken flatbread was really good, and the fries with the burger were tasty too. The only downside was the burger bun, it was too oily. Also, the tomato, pickles, and lettuce came on the side, which we didn't ask for, so we had to assemble the burger ourselves. Overall, the environment and service were great. Our waitress, Savannah, was really nice and attentive. I'd come back.

We ordered the Boss Hog flatbread, chips and queso, and two margaritas the Skinny Bear on the rocks and the Caddy frozen margarita. We definitely enjoyed the happy hour discounts, which made the visit even better. We started with our drinks, and both margaritas were mixed very well. The Skinny Bear did seem a little stronger, but both had great flavor and were easy to enjoy. For appetizers, we ordered the chips and queso. The chips were thin, crispy, and had a nice dash of seasoning on them, but we do wish they had been served hot. The queso was warm, but not piping hot, and the texture was a little gritty, almost powder-like. We were expecting a creamier cheese, so it was good, but not our favorite part of the meal. Now, the star of the show was definitely the Boss Hog flatbread. It was cooked to perfection, baked really well, and had that nice crispy texture. The toppings were generous, and every bite had great flavor. I would absolutely order it again. The ambiance was also amazing. We loved being able to see the brewery, and the dim lighting set a cool, relaxed tone. The employees were nice, friendly, and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. I would definitely come back to try more menu items, and I recommend Union Bear for a cute date night, happy hour, or a laid back evening with good drinks and food.

The bar is lit in a way that makes you want to stay and chat. The only thing lovelier than the bartenders (that have been the same for years) was the loveliest companion that accompanied me most recently, and held such a wonderful conversation. There is a lot to the atmosphere here, both inside and outside, with the inside feeling like an intimate event, and the patio being a party starter. They often have live acoustic music outside, but it isn't brash or overwhelming. Usually one person and a guitar with a small amp. Nothing crazy. I haven't had pizza in one million years, but if I were going to break the streak it would be here. It's got a real artisan feel and taste that can't be beat. If you dine in, I recall they had the bread strips they bring out - GREAT stuff. If you aren't sure what to get, go for that Texas Mule. Tito's...Ginger Beer... need I say more? If you live here and haven't been here - you are missing out. If you are passing through, stop in. It's a "go-to" for me the two times I am in Plano each year. It's a cool restaurant that has a lot of seating, and cool decor with Guitars displayed on the wall and a small stage for performers. We walked up to where you order. It was counter service and the guy that took our order was laid back. We paid, he gave us a number and then we chose a place to sit and waited for our food. We ordered several items to share. We started off with a charcuterie board that had meats, cheeses, nuts, fruit, and toasted bread. It was really good. The bread was able to hold the ingredients and was nice and crispy but not overly crispy. The meats were good and the different cheeses were flavorful with different textures. The fruit was fresh and the nuts were a nice crunchy addition. Very yummy start. We also shared the Tejas Nachos with Brisket. The Nachos come with tortilla chips covered in cheese, queso, jalapenos, tomatoes, and crema. They were okay. The Brisket was plentiful. There was a lot of cheese and queso spread out all over the nachos. It was a little too much. The chips got soggier the closer you got to the bottom of the pile. Our last shared item was the ZZ Top BBQ Flatbread. It was okay. It came with an overabundance of cheese. It also came with jalapenos, BBQ sauce, and we ordered it with Chicken. It was okay. The cheese was gooey but overwhelming. The jalapenos added a spicy flavor and the BBQ sauce was tasty. Overall the restaurant has a cool atmosphere with good service. The counter service, ordering and paying process was quick and easy. Everytime someone brought our food to us they were friendly. The food was okay and literally very cheesy.

We only saw 2 workers the whole time we were there which made sense with how slow it was. Ordered some drinks and they were not the best. My partner did not enjoy his at all since it was basically just margarita mix. We quickly noticed that the prices on the menu were modified, handwritten new prices with pen on paper than was then taped over the old prices, with many dishes having increased by $5 compared to the prices shown on their website. We get it, inflation has been crazy, but that seemed drastic. The food was fine but in our opinion definitely not worth the increased prices. My dish (Rib Eye) was a good portion size and the flavor was fine, but it didn't blow my mind. The Arroz Poblano was a very sad portion size. Service was very slow throughout our whole visit, which is wild because we were the only ones there. An explanation on the delay between drop ins would've been nice. Sadly it just didn't meet our expectations and I'm not sure we will return. Maybe it was an off day for them, because many other reviews are filled with praise, but as of now we'll just opt for other Latin food spots we know.
