It took 37 minutes, after multiple requests, to get drinks. 49 minutes to get silverware... haven't received an appetizer or a good excuse as to why 5 parties have been seated after us and are almost done their entire meals. Came here twice and enjoyed our experience here both times! I got the seafood pot with mussels and snow crab legs in the boiling house sauce, they give you a fairly good amount of seafood. Even though the menu says $21 for a pound of snow crab legs, the gave me 1.25 lbs and charge you for the difference. I guess it's hard for them to get exactly 1lb of crab legs. The mussels were delicious! My boyfriend got the seafood fried rice and he said it was amazing and this man is hard to please! Service was very prompt and even though a party of 13 came in after us, the waiter still made sure we were taken care of. One thing I have to warn you about... it can get VERY messy! And the delicious boiling house sauce.. get ready for the smell to be embedded in your finger tips for days! They give you bibs and gloves but it's hard to eat crab legs with gloves! My husband and I ordered takeout on Friday night. The guy who took my order over the phone was very pleasant and helpful. We orders the Sea Festival, oysters and garlic noodles. When I arrived for pick up the staff were very friendly and the gentleman remembered I called and my food was ready. The Sea Festival was absolutely amazing- the seafood was fresh and the sauce was delicious! The oysters were also fresh and they packaged it great to transport home. My wife and I have been trying to get here and we finally did. Our server Rob was fantastic! We both ordered the snow crab and shrimp combo and a shrimp cocktail for an appetizer. Over July 4th weekend, I was surprised and taken to the Boiling House. He made reservations for 2, and when we arrived, we were immediately seated. The music was on point, R&B, mostly oldies, but not too old. A sign on the table said to scan the bar code and your menu would pop up on your phone (no comment). Once our server came to greet us and we asked questions, we ordered. We both ordered dungeness crab combo, i with shrimp and he with mussels. i wanted all seasonings except lemon pepper and as hot as they could make it and he ordered mild with garlic butter. We waited maybe 5 - 10 minutes, if that, and our order came out. As i dug into my steamed bag, i was pleasantly surprised as they give you healthy portions. I was not too thrilled with the garlic butter which tasted like minced garlic and very little butter. I was able to ask for more butter to try to cover up the intense garlic taste. He ordered the fried shrimp platter and fries and they came out piping hot and very tasty. All in all i highly recommend and will probably come back again. read more

Excellent time here. Went late right before closing, 9:30, and the place was empty. The amazing waitress, Courtney ( I think ), was very accommodating and even had the the cook take the heads off the shrimp at my request because it was slow. Run do not walk away from this sorry excuse for a food provider, they don't even deserve to be called a restaurant they are so pitiful. I ordered a dozen oysters and a dozen clams on the half shell to go. I get home and although I was charged for a dozen each only was given 6 of each. Which would have been for the best if half of those oysters weren't off, one whiff would have let anyone shucking them know that. And when I was in the middle of putting the "cocktail sauce " on my world's smallest cherry stones realized they didn't give me cocktail sauce, they gave me friggen Marinara to put on my clams on the half shell!!! Who in the world would even come up with that anathema that obviously ruined what sad excuse for a not dozen cherry stones. AND to top their total ineptitude off with non existent customer service refused to refund the difference in the charge for a dozen of each and only giving 6, insisted that I must have done something to the oysters to make them go bad (in the 30 minutes they were in my possession), and also insisted that spaghetti sauce is what goes with raw bar, not cocktail sauce. I chose the bucket w/crab legs, mussels and shrimp w/head on (sidebar--shrimp is sweeter when cooked with heads on then w/o. No, I don't eat the heads silly that's nasty ) it came with potatoes and corn. If you want bread ask for it it doesn't come w/the meal. It was simmering in a garlicky lemon old bay broth with a hint of heat, but you can ask for it hot if you want. Needless to say I didn't have enough room because I had to take the leftovers with me. I would've given 5 stars but I wasn't completely sold on the garlic noodles. It was missing something and somewhat dry. Otherwise I had a great time. Oh, this is a BYOB, BYOW, BYOL establishment. I went there with my wife, brother in law and sister in law. They all have been several times before and told me how good it was so I was excited to eat some snow crabs. I initially ordered 1 lb. of snow cab legs with the old bay seasoning. 2 small plain clusters came out with old bay seasoning on the side...nothing on the crab legs. So I started eating the crab legs and I noticed tiny black seeds on the crabs. I've never seen this on crab legs before. I asked the waiter what it was and he said that's how they come from the place they order their crab legs. I later looked online and found out that they are crab leeches. They are not harmful, but not very appetizing or appealing. They were kind enough to take the crab legs off of the bill, but I don't think I will be going back there. read more

Horrible experience. The crab legs that I ordered were damn near raw. I sent them back and then came back again damn near raw and tasted fishy like they were no good. I told the staff I can not eat these and his response was ok I will bring your check. I then got charged $50 for eating nothing. First time going and yes there was a slight wait although we had reservations. I don't fault the restaurant at all. When we set we can see the hold up which was not one but two tables that had big parties and actually had been there at that point 3 hours holding court cause they had already eaten and paid. PSA please be considerate of others and not being those tables. Now as far as the food excellent and a lot of it. We had calamari, garlic noodles, fried lobster noodles and the large sea boil which we added fresh crawfish, shrimp and mussels to. The boiling house medium seasoning was the epitome of perfection. We were a table of 4 and even with my teenagers especially my son we still walked out with food. I fact the teens ate some more as soon as they walked in the house. Some may say it was pricey but for the amount of fresh well seasoned seafood it was definitely worth the price. Remember to make reservations and have understanding that they have approximately 17 tables. They serve such great food that customers are not in a rush to leave. This place is BYOB . I didn't give this place a one star rating because my first two trips we good. Not great, but no serious complaints. My most recent trip was disappointing. I got 4 king crab legs for approx $30. They were big, and looked fresh. Nice presentation. Instead of going for the claw first, I started with the other leg. I broke the first one and the meat was soft, bland and watery. I immediately got the waiter's attention, and showed him how the meat came out. He brought over a manager, and I explained that I didn't think the wilted, skinny piece of meat was fair for what I was paying. He took the entire plate back, and after a long wait, they came back with 4 of the smallest king crab legs I've ever seen. The claws were approx. the size a a decent snow crab. When I told him that I wanted the same size that had come out previously, and for which I was paying over $30, they basically told me it wasn't happening since they had to throw away the other ones. I didn't ask them to take the whole plate, only the 'cluster' with the soggy leg. Had I know the replacement would be so small, I would have insisted on keeping the other cluster. And that was the last time anyone visited our table until we flagged down the waiter to pay. The service and food was terrible. read more

I've been here twice in the last few months. Very delicious. Place is kind of small and even with reservations on my first visit there, the wait was over 30 mins. Also, if you're visiting in the winter ask not to be seated by the door if they can help it. We were initially seated there and every time the door opened, which was often, the cold air was directly on us. About halfway through our meal another seat became available and we were moved. My second visit there was takeout because I didn't want to risk being uncomfortable. I will try dining there again but only in good weather. They're a BYOB, the staff is really nice, even met the head chef, really nice and funny guy. As stated earlier, everything I had was delicious, honorable mention to the crab tacos they were A1 and the lemonade was to die for.
