I really enjoyed my lunch from here today! It is an extremely small shop with no tables, only baked goods and a kitchen in the back for you to order takeout. They don't even have a public washroom! They make every meal to order, so I recommend calling in advance to pick up. I ordered in store today, and it took around 20 minutes for my chicken korma and garlic naan. That being said, it was delicious! Super creamy and flavorful, not a huge amount of chicken. I had lunch with some friends at the park behind the complex and it was very enjoyable! Would probably order take out/delivery from them in the future! read more

Tiny spot with big flavours! The go-to place in this area for Indian takeout. No space to eat-in but take your food to the park behind if you're not taking it home. The samosas are legendary. Service is always steady, food always hot and fresh. This is not fast food, they make it for you, and it is 100% worth the wait. read more

I thought this was a sweets shop. When you look in there are no tables. I lived in PoCo for ten years before I discovered they have take out for main course Indian food. It is fantastic! Is always grab their samosas for lunch the next day - so light tasting and only .75 each. Seriously good! Butter chicken combo is under $20 and feeds 2-3 people with rice and Naaz included. The quality is like home cooked. The spice level is spicy. Medium is on the hot is side. Customer service is quick - not the friendliest - but not bad either. Super efficient due to the volume of customers and I would rather that then wait as they chat up the customers. Call your order in ad they are super busy - it'll cut does on your wait times. They USED to be great but NOT anymore. The last 2 times I found the food was really bad. Last time I just threw it out. Must be a new chef or new ownership. I loved their food but it is not the same. Ordered kadahi chicken with garlic naan and a couple of veggie samosas. Good food. Good portions. Asked for extra spicy, but it wasn't anywhere close to being spicy. Not a big deal. We've ordered samosas from here for years and they truly are the best anywhere! One night we decided to order the whole family dinner from here. Wow were we impressed!! First off it was under $40 to stuff a family of 4. The curries were flavourful , fresh and hot. Lots of choices both meat and vegetarian. Not super oily like some Indian food can be. Garlic naan is to die for and the tamarind chutney is the best. Try them for more than the samosas! read more

Hair in samosa.. burnt taste in kaju katli.. when went to return 1 lb of kaju katli just gave 4 pcs of kala kand and 2 pcs of milk cake.. checked after reaching home.. how does it match 1 lb of kaju katli when returned.. so many instances of bad food and bad service.. absolutely I don't recommend it to anybody.. read more

This is my favorite place for samosas. The veggie and chicken ones are my favorites. Really good deal too. $0.75 for big veggies samosas. Made (baked) fresh. Warning is that it takes a while and usually a line waiting for orders. Worth it! read more

We had lamb curry, chicken nann and fish pakora. That's our usual in any Indian restaurant or take out. So we ordered them from Bombay Sweets during this time of pandemic of the CORVIC 19. The first time was terrific and quick but the second time was disappointing because the fish was not fresh, the chicken nann was just not right. The lamb curry was acceptable but not like the one before which was very good. Somehow we can't sleep that night and we knew that they had put too much monosodium glutamate in the curry. Now that's a killer. There was no consistency. Which means that we can't depend on the quality. People hate unpredictability. So that means that will be our last time ordering from them. Shame though. Maybe after a year or so, we will be back. read more

The samosas and super delish but I really feel frustrated for the lack of consistency here. I order chickpeas and samosas and I love the carrot pickles that come with it - that is WHEN they come with it. Even times I ask if I don't check when I pick up my food it's a 50/50 chance they will be in there. It's disappointing when they are not because they make the dish. If they were consistent I would have given 4 stars. read more
