I walked in and OMG, It's way bigger than I thought and so stunning! The booths and chandeliers were very classy. The bartender Mel assisted me and she was very pleasant. She let me know that while they have coffee drinks, she's not much of a barista...they have an experienced barista on staff but they only work there from about 7am to 1pm and I was there approx 1:30pm. She stated she could make simple lattes but nothing all that fancy from the coffee menu as cocktails are her actual specialty so I decided to go with alcoholic libations since that's what she knows how to make. One that stood out to me was called the "Figgy Fizz" which is made with a fig syrup and I was excited as for breakfast yesterday I had the best Greek yogurt I've ever had which was honey and fig flavored so I was definitely in a fig mood lol she whipped up the drink but unfortunately after she handed it to me, she let me know she couldn't find the fig syrup they put in it so she substituted that with pumpkin spice. I was kind of bummed about that and wished she would have asked me first if that substitution was okay with me or if I'd want to try something else because now it's not a "figgy fizz" but a pumpkin spice fizz but I still drank it and it was decent. I decided to try one more drink which was a pomegranate rosemary lemon drop and it was beautiful and very tasty ! It's a nice spot to have a drink, the staff is quite friendly and they have some unique flavors so i can see myself frequenting this establishment. I want to come back soon and give their coffee drinks a try when I can stop by earlier!

Being curious since they opened this in Fall'ish 2024 and finding myself in the neighborhood, this was a destination stop for my husband and me when we went in about 11:30 on a weekday for coffee and a nosh. Pride of ownership shines in the clean and funky feeling interior and it is clearly popular because it was full, almost every seat, of people that seemed from the neighborhood, including a number of parents with young children. They advertise this as coffee and market, but I honestly didn't notice the market part, in that things for sale didn't jump out at me. That may have been because I was just trying to navigate to a seat in and out in the crowded space. THE MO: Coffee and the limited menu for food is ordered at the counter, carry to your seat and bus your own when finished. Although we were the only people at the counter and there were two people in the kitchen, it took quite some time for someone to come to take the order, although once someone finally saw us, they were pleasant, if not welcoming, in taking the coffee order and then again when my hubby went back to order pastries to go with it. MENU: Coffee, other beverages and a very small option of eats is listed behind the counter and on a paper menu there. Options included soup of the day and Gaston's bakery pastries. There were some breakfast sandwiches by local provider Poppyseed Bakery in the fridge section, we weren't told about them but seeing them when passing by the fridge on a trip to the loo, asked if they could be heated and were told they could be. We chose a couple of pastries ($5.50 each) and were reminded why we seldom buy Gaston's products for being too buttery and one note. The cortado ($4) were good. I noticed a woman at the table across from us who was sipping a beverage and eating what looked like a sandwich she had carried in. I don't know if that is part of allowable stuff or not. The pottery used for all of their coffee service, ours and the mugs at other tables, is great. AMBIANCE: They did an admirable job here of making this light and bright and just funky enough with pride of ownership and loving care in maintenance sparkling through. Seating includes a few level in, not step up, booths along one wall, a sofa and chairs near the front and many standard height tables and chairs (maybe too many when all full as getting to seat is tough) and a play area for kids in the corner. It had far less comfortable 'breathing room' space than I anticipated from photos. But I didn't take interior photos to post because I think it is rude to do that when lots of people are going to be in them who maybe don't want to be. ;-) LOO: There are two and both are uni and sparkling clean with great murals on the wall and good plumbing fixtures. My husband even pointed out the "cool" sink. Both are ADA compliant so kudos to them for that. (Yes, it is law and code but you'd be astounded by how many ignore both.) ACCESSIBILITY: One ADA parking spot right outside the door. (There are too few spots for the parking lot but that is not the coffee shop owners' failure. That is the lot owner's issue.) Level in the door. All on one floor. The tables would probably work for a wheelchair user to roll under. But it would be near impossible, based on my experience yesterday (I have had multiple sclerosis since age 20 and sometimes use a wheelchair) for a wheelchair user to get between tables and chairs for a clear path of travel to get to seating or the loo.

Funko Pops nicely organized on shelves. Comic books neatly arranged in bins nicely labeled. It truly is a prestine store. We looked around for a bit. I was just in awww at how cool everything was. My husband was mainly doing the looking. He didn't really find anything that caught his eye. He has a pretty good collection but didn't find what he was specifically looking for. All good cause there's always next time! The gentleman that was working today was really nice! Even though he was mid conversation with another customer, he still greeted us! Very loudly and happily too! The set up of this joint is cool! And the fact that they serve coffee here so you can chill and read a comic is dope. It is definitely worth the drive and the visit. Seating is varied but favors small groups, and does not really accommodate the digital nomad. They offer the usual coffee selections with a few specialty drinks. I had the Butter Latte. Wow! It is basically a toned down bulletproof coffee but with lots of flavor. Service is friendly and personable. Our group was greeted at the door and the staff were happy to offer recommendations. I will be going back the next time I am in Boise.

However, my friend's coffee was very nice and had a strong coffee flavor (she ordered a honey, vanilla, and cinnamon latte). I also really appreciated the options for seasonal drinks!
