The Border Table has quickly become my new favorite brunch spot! The fried chicken and waffles are SO good, the chicken is house dredged and you can taste it. Their mimosas are excellent, specifically I would recommend the Peachy but you can't go wrong with any of them! The staff is so friendly, and go above and beyond. Shockingly slow service for a late lunch window at a mostly empty establishment. Their dry rub garlic wings are literally dry wings and a pile of garlic that youre required to scoop up inordinate to consume. Couldn't have been more disappointed with a new establishment. Gooooood fooooooood! Mimosas: Pineapple -Pom and Razzled Fresh purées and juice Yum. Lumberjack Biscuits: velvety gravy and crispy crispy fried chicken. This is by far the best breakfast I've had in Humboldt. Friendly cashiers ring up your order. There's nice outdoor seating if you like. Indoor ambiance was more like a cafeteria with not so comfortable seating than warm and welcoming decoration, but that's ok! The food is fantastic and that's what I was there for. My order was to go fwiw. The biscuits and gravy with fried chicken was excellent. The chicken was freshly battered and fried, the gravy was perfectly savory, and the biscuit was a solid 8. Scrambled eggs were good too. If I could make a suggestion, it would be not to pile the eggs on top of the biscuits then sauce it all with gravy, because I prefer eggs on the side without gravy. I want every drop of gravy for the biscuits and chicken, and had to scrape it off the eggs to dress the biscuit, but it's really not a big deal. I'll just order it that way next time I'm in town. read more

We had the classic breakfast with a side of cheesy grits and the La Solona burrito- both were so fresh and flavorful. The breakfast potatoes were our personal favorite. T's brunch club is under new ownership & the new owners are amazing! My partner and I just had the BEST chorizo breakfast burritos. The tortilla tasted homemade & was browned to perfection. Maybe it was just an off day, but we left feeling disappointed. We usually go to Renata's which we absolutely love, but figured we would try a different brunch spot this time. We tried a little bit of everything. One person in my party ordered the Country Breakfast and didn't get the eggs that went with it and didn't notice until we were almost done eating. The table next to us didn't get their chicken fried steak with theirs and had to ask about it. Our waffle was brought out dry without butter or maple syrup and we had to ask for knives to cut the chicken fried steak. Hopefully it was just an off day.
