while researching, I have read about Bowery, its historic roots, live music, and vibe. while coming from Broadway at the beach, we stopped here for a couple of beers. we sat outside, ocean smooth breeze with a cold beer and bad chicken tenders (too much fried- too bad), also there was live music going on The Bowery bar provides a great night of live rock and country music, bar food, and well-priced pitchers of beer. When in the area, be sure to set aside an evening to enjoy a night of rock at The Bowery Myrtle Beach.

It's a country bar with a house band. Didn't care for the drinks but we enjoyed the music. Friendly staff. We parked off the strip because it's way too expensive to find a spot nearby. Stayed open til 2 but they closed quarter til 1. Plenty of seats in and outdoors and it was a lot of fun.

Sat outside here and had some lunch from Duffy's. Have to say the food was really good. It is kind of an iconic place here on the boardwalk given it was where Alabama played. We have also been here in the evening, for a new years as a matter of fact and it is wide open. The lunch time is a different vibe and is definetly nice and laid back

Stopped in early on a Saturday night with the family, 5 of us. Not a big space, so we took the only table in the restaurant capable of seating five. Restaurant was really a bar area with tables surrounding it, and a small gift shop. A few sports games on the televisions, only a few drunks at the bar, not overly annoying. Waitress was very good, and food was good. We had wings, mozzarella sticks, burgers and salads. I wouldn't recommend the wings, they just had a strange taste. Otherwise, place was cool, prices were good, service was excellent.

Didn't try the food due to smoking in the bar. But the service was nice and the inside looks just as dated as the outside. Super hole in the wall dive bar. Pretty awesome if you ask me. Other than the smoking we would have stayed longer.

Best burger I've had in a while, and you can't go wrong with carney fries. Awesome party atmosphere but "laid back" at the same time. Great local live music. Service was excellent, give respect get respect.

Tony and I walked up to the Bowery from our hotel room. It was a short 10 minute hike and the weather was so lovely. We went inside wearing our masks and grabbed a seat near the front of the establishment. I was surprised to see that they allowed smoking inside. It was fine just alarming. We ordered our drinks, Tony a Budweiser since no PBR available, myself a Coca cola and we shared a basket of mushrooms. our waiter was very nice and timely. We will definitely recommend and go back again ourselves if in the area.

First off, very beautiful venue, easy to find the seats and where the seats are located. Outside looks like an old time opera house, they do have stairs though. Inside they have a little gift shop and food stand. While entering the smell of popcorn fills the hall. Ticket attendents got the line moving and was pleasant. Got inside and the seats were comfy. As for the show, itself Killer Queen, didn't really like it as much, and for starters the band didn't open with a familiar song like Bohemian Rhaspsody. In my opinion a good show starts with 1 or 2 familar songs, then in the middle have a few new hits that may be unheard of, then close with another 2 popular songs. to add from Queen I only know of songs like Bohemian Rhaspsody, We Will Rock You, We Are The Champions- now while those were played-- waited until the very end to hear them. Also the band had to pull everyone out of their seats multiple times- and I mean if one plays a popular song, we will automatically get up and dance! Also to add, background- I remember in the Queen Movie they showed how to do the dance of both We Will Rock You, and Radio Ga Ga- show it in the background so that the audience can do it! or have a band member do it! Will admit for me, I'm more than likely to spend my money on a show based on a band that I know- like Taylor Swift, The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Backstreet Boys, to name a few! Would be cool to have shows like that at this theatre! Anyways, despite this experience, we may be back for another show!

Legends has always been one of our favorites because it's consistently one of the better shows to enjoy in the area. Some type of an Elvis impersonator and Blues Brother act is ALWAYS present in any Legends lineup...and the lineup you see really does matter. This is why sometimes a Legends lineup is EPIC, while sometimes it's just "meh." That's the risk you run with Legends. On this most recent visit (my first since their relocation to their current location) we had a really strong lineup that included the Blues Brother, Alan Jackson, Steve Perry, Michael Jackson, and a 68 special leather suit Elvis . I will say, this was the first time I realized that the musicians aren't actually playing live music but merely pantomiming to a recorded track...it became very entertaining after realizing that to watch how some of them really got into their role. The best example of this was Mario on the keyboards. That man was fake playing that keyboard like his life depended on it and like he was having the best day of life...he was honestly more entertaining than some of the lead entertainers...whatever Legends is paying him they need to give him a raise! If you're in Myrtle Beach and looking for a fun way to pass the evening Legends is usually a safe bet!

Sat right out on its own pier, proper seaside setup. You're out there catching a bit of sun, breeze coming through, watching beachgoers stroll by like it's a live show put on just for you. Hard to beat, that. First visit was more of a casual affair. Bit of this, bit of that, nothing too serious. Started with the poke nachos, and fair play, they didn't hold back. Proper loaded. Tuna piled on, sauces working overtime, every bite doing its job. You could tell straight away they weren't cutting corners. Couple of draft Michelobs went down nicely, crisp, cold, no complaints there. The lady went for a Bloody Mary and swore by it. Said it had a bit of punch to it, which is exactly what you want. Still had a bit of room, so we went for the shark bites. And mate... absolute money. Light, crispy, seasoned just right. One of those plates where you keep reaching back in without thinking. Now here's where it gets interesting. We came back. Proper supper this time. Sat down, took it seriously. Started with the fried calamari. Nicely done, not rubbery, good crunch, does exactly what it should. Then the mains. Shrimp po' boy loaded up, proper seaside sandwich, messy in the best way. And the fried platter, shrimp, fish, oysters... the full spread. This is where they really showed out. Everything cooked right, nothing overdone, no shortcuts. Just solid seafood, done properly. Easily the best seafood we had in Myrtle Beach, and that's not something I say lightly. Some places are a one and done. This one had us coming back for a second go... and that tells you everything you need to know. Five stars. Proper job.
