Happy Hour Pretzels
Joe D.

I'd been here once before just to have a couple drinks. It's a great spot with a dense menu on tap. My favorite brewery, Aslin, is well represented. The happy hour menu is also great and available every day. I ordered the pretzel bites as a starter and the tacos as my main dish. The pretzel bites were interesting. They had almost a garlic butter coating which I still don't know if I was a fan of. Overall, they were fine. The tacos were really good. All the flavors were very well put together. The chips also had a strange flavor tasting subtly like Graham crackers??? Brass tap is a great spot for a drink and the food is decent all around. The prices are fair and staff very nice.

Korean BBQ wings

I came back and my second time did not live up to the first. My server was super sweet and friendly, she let me try 4 beer samples until I found something I liked. But I tried the brisket tacos. Not good. The kitchen covered these in way too much grated cotija cheese, it even overwhelmed the onion and cilantro. The cowboy sauce wasn't too great either, reminded of a seasoned ranch. These things had way too much dairy. At the end, my fault for ordering the wrong item. This place is still a good place to hang. But my gosh guys, either adjust this brisket tacos recipe or remove them from the menu altogether.

Korean pulled pork nachos

The food was really good. We had the Korean pulled pork nachos and some wings. The restaurant itself was really busy. There was only a few servers working so the service was a little slow but we weren't in a rush so we didn't mind waiting. Overall we were very pleased with our experience.

Hofbrau Original!

The restaurant was huge and had a fantastic selection of beers! When we walked in there was a party goin on but we sat at the bar and got amazing service. They had a stellar musician playing which added to the ambiance along with the multiple TVs. Bathrooms were super clean, food came out hot and to order, and menu was very easy to read with great options. The owner was friendly and gave us the rundown of the beers! I got a Hofbrau Original which was amazing and paired well with my tenders, my wife got the chicken sandwich & got a Downeast Strawberry Cider which was good. The only reason this place didn't get a 5 star review from me was I think for the price I could have gotten another chicken tender or two, 3/4 tenders felt lite with a $15 price tag, but the taste was amazing, probably some of the best tenders I've had in forever, highly recommend checking this place out

Pretzel bites with queso and the drink of the week (Malibu sunset)

Visited for happy hour. Sat at the bar solo. Tried to order a happy hour pumpkin beer that was on the menu, but they were out. Ended up getting the cocktail of the week (Malibu Sunset). It was very good. Ordered the happy hour pretzels, which were pretty good. Asked for a water, but never received it from the bartender. Ordered another drink and the burger and fries before happy hour was over. Food and service was mediocre. Drinks were good. Would not return.

Blackened Cod Tacos, and Steak Nachos

Came here for a quick lunch bite while visiting New Town with our fur babies because they have outdoor seatings. They have a wide selection of draught beers. Hubby and I ordered the Steak Nachos and Blackened Cod Tacos to share. Food was alright nothing special. Our waitress was really nice and friendly, she even brought out water for our fur babies.

I would recommend this place if you wanted a sports bar and mediocre food. Good selection of beers. Service was very good.

This place first opened and it was incredible, but as I come back to visit Williamsburg it continues to decline in all aspects.

Great beer/cocktail selection. Good atmosphere. Decent food. Terrible prices. Dinner for 2 and 4 drinks total ran us about $85 before tip.

The brewery is large, clean, colorful, spacious and inviting. It's uniquely decorated. Think taxidermy animals on the wall but half car couches. My family really enjoyed out trip to SB. First off, it was a quiet day. The bartender, a young guy, was super helpful. Flights of 10? Made my husband happy. I can't lie, there were 2 beers I wanted to taste. I like sours. The more they are reds and green, I usually like them. I can share the lucky charms one was not for me. The Welch's jelly sour was a win with me! Lots of merch to choose from. My husband got a really interesting scientist hat. Another win- they sell juice boxes for kids! All this place needs is some food. True score: 3.75

There were a lot of drink options, but not many snacks, so if you come here, eat before or have a plan to grab food after. I got the Sapphire Robot, which was sweet without being overwhelming. As someone who doesn't like beer that much, this was perfect. The decor was strange, which works for the name, but it put off my friends. If a ton of taxidermy bothers you, maybe skip it.

I had never been ax throwing before and thought it would make a good date for the hubby and I. I…read moremade a reservation online with a small reservation fee and then we paid the rest during our visit. A host helps check you in, sign waivers and escorts you to the bar area. There's a small selection of can drinks including alcoholic ones, tea, soda, water. I liked that they stock Sly Clyde's cider from Hampton. Not sure sharp objects and alcohol is the best idea but everyone seemed to be behaving responsibly. We were escorted to some bays that had two lanes next to each other and then separated by a fence before two more open lanes. We were given a safety brief at the lanes with people in two other lanes and some instructions on how to throw. Don't pass axes by hand, put them in the return box. Different styles of how to throw. Thankfully we had the full bay to ourselves since so one was in the open bay next to us. We played for 75 min which was a comfortable amount of time. They also have a knife throwing option which we didn't select. There's some seating available near the throwing area for non players. Each bay has a standing bar with two backless metal seats. I was able to throw comfortably with a walking boot on for a sprained ankle. I appreciated that since I didn't even think of that before reserving a space. I was nervous at first but managed to do ok with the over head two hand throw. The bay attendant didn't check on us after bringing our pretzel bites and so it didn't seem necessary to tip for service. We were able to get an additional score cards on the way to the snack area and that is where you close out your tab for your outing. The kiosk offers a tip option so maybe they share with the attendants. I talked with a friend who had been there previously and she said the booth attendant asked for a tip when she went and that was off putting. That wasn't our experience though. Overall we spent just over $100 for our date night. While there is snacky food available, it's not the type of place you are going for dinner and fun. Get a meal before or after somewhere else. The bay next to us had plans to go to Buffalo Wild Wings across the street.

Second time hitting this location & really nothing but good things to say!…read more I made same day reservations and even came an hour early without an issue. They tend to get really busy in the evenings so go early or make sure to make a reservation. Jack, our guide, was helpful in technique and energy. It was nice to have him jump in a few times to help out but didn't feel like hovering. Also, love their enthusiasm for bulls eyes. We have had food and drink- both very good to pair with game play. Snack, bar food like loaded tots, curly fries etcs. Canned beer, cocktails and wine available.
