This place looks so unsanitary. That bathroom needs work. But then it's a hole in the wall . Gross

This place looks so run down ! I don't get how people can even sit in here and drink a beer. This bathroom just makes me feel uncomfortable!

I wish I had four hands..... So I can give this place four thumbs down. I'm ok with the fact that this is a dive bar. The local longshoreman hang out here. Sports bar environment. The bartenders are on their cell phones 98% of the time. They use this place as a meet up place for there personal social gain. I can't believe they get paid to be here. Took me 15minutes to get the attention of a bartender and there were only 15 people in there. If there's anything worse then this place it's the bartenders. Do yourself a favor, buy a 6 pack and stay home.

    Simply Wow!!!

I ordered off of the lunch specials choosing the buffalo chicken wrap and my side was a salad. The salad was fresh and I enjoyed how the veggies were chopped (it's the details for me). Everything was really delicious, but I would get the buffalo sauce on the side next time as it was a bit too spicy for me. Service was fast and friendly and they have lunch specials, daily specials and also happy hour in one awesome spot! It was Margarita Monday when I went so I enjoyed that. Our mozzarella sticks finally arrived after a long wait, only to have no cheese inside them. We then waited another 30 minutes for a replacement order that never came. When we expressed our frustration about the excessive wait, the male bartender and the woman wearing the USA shirt did their best to make the situation better, and I appreciated their effort. What was most disappointing happened at the end. The waitress who had originally seated us actually mocked my friend when he said the wait time was ridiculous. She laughed and repeated the word "ridiculous" in a sarcastic way instead of addressing our concerns. It was incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful. It's disappointing when a loyal customer is treated that way. I had much higher expectations for this place, and I truly believe the situation could have been handled better!

We had a reservation for six and the hostess greeted us and sat us right away. Our server, Nate, was fantastic. He knew the menu and answered all of our questions. He even explained how some of the drinks were made. Later we found out he was actually one of the bartenders helping out as a server for the night. Which made sense considering how well he knew how the drinks were made. He was attentive and checked on us often to make sure everything was going well. One thing that made him stand out was, he actually conversed with us rather than just asking if we needed anything and then leaving. The Old Fashioned was one of the smoothest and best I've probably ever had. My nephew ordered the Ube Painkiller after Nate described how it was made. I had a sip, and the ube flavor really came through without overpowering the drink and it was perfectly matched with the dark rum, which Nate said came from the Caribbean. The Brussels sprouts had a nice mix of tender and crispy pieces that gave additional texture. The calamari was tender and the pesto style sauce paired real good with it. The Thai curry sea bass was flavorful, flaky, and had the right amount of spice. The cioppino had a rich shellfish flavor in the broth and I appreciated that the tomato base didn't have such an acidic taste. We also shared the tomahawk, which was juicy, cooked perfectly, and had a sprinkle of coarse salt that really brought out the flavor. Overall, we had a great experience. The food was excellent, but Nate's service really made our night special, making us feel right at home.

The hostess was quite sweet when we walked in. As we had our little fur baby with us, we were seated at one of the tables on the patio. It was still early and that in-between time so it was pretty quiet. A large party was set up next to us. Melinda took care of us and she was the sweetest. Happy hour was happening which we took advantage of. It was 4.00 off appetizer, 2.00 off draft wine and beer. Also, they made sure that our little pup was well taken care of as well. Food wise, an order of the poke wrap. Nice chunks of ahi with a scoop of rice, lettuce, avocado and wasabi sauce. It was good but a little messy. As it would be with all of the lettuce wraps. The steamed mussels which is a must. The broth was delicious and served with two nice thick slices of toasted bread. Decent size mussels cooked deliciously in the broth. A must try. Lastly the calamari which was tossed with jalapeños. Both deep fried and quite tasty. Nice crunch to it but not overly cooked. That was also served with two dipping sauce. Everything was delicious. Towards the end of the meal, Melinda noticed that a bug was in my wine which she was very sweet about and made sure to take care of it. The simple little gesture was greatly appreciative. The whole experience was excellent. Everyone was the sweetest and friendliest. Will definitely be back.

We ordered the veggie pizza, the pepperoni pizza and the BBQ chicken pizza, lemon pepper wings, and hot wings, and the potato wedges. Our party had roughly 15 people and that was more than enough to feed us all and we had plenty of leftovers. The veggie pizza and the pepperoni pizza were DELICIOUS! The cheese is so good, and they do not skimp. The BBQ chicken pizza was good but we all thought it needed more BBQ sauce. The wings were crunchy and full of flavor! The wedges were cut to a decent size, seasoned well and crunchy on the outside. Their ranch is also great, I am not sure if it's made in house but it tastes like it is. The staff were incredible accommodating, super sweet, and made sure we had everything we needed. They were showing the baseball game so the TVs were a little loud but overall it was a really great place. It was the best way to end the night after graduating with my masters degree! Woot woot!

The pizza had sesame on the dough end of it, never seen that. Anyway took a bite, mid, nothing you can't literally get at any spot around your house. There was up to a 15-minute wait, which wasn't too bad. I ordered the following for dinner: * House Salad (starter): made with mixed greens, baby tomatoes, carrots, white cheddar, hard-boiled eggs (added modification/extra charge), no croutons, served with extra ranch dressing. * Chicken Enchilada Stack (entree): prepared with corn tortillas, pasilla peppers, jack cheese, pinto beans, sour cream, chipotle & tomatillo pepper sauces, fried jalapeño. The house salad tasted freshly crisp, with all the delectable vegetables and the addition of hard-boiled eggs. The ranch dressing and black pepper both pull the entire salad together for satisfaction in each bite. The enchiladas were dynamite and addictive. The chipotle & tomatillo pepper sauces were beyond flavorful. The portion of the dinner plate was filling. Overall, the dish was enjoyable. Samantha ('Sam') was my server throughout the dining experience. The service provided was decently courteous and satisfactory. The entire atmosphere was inviting, with a plethora of tables and chairs available inside as well as the outdoor patio area. The menu was extensive with a variety of choices. The food was generous with portions and adequately priced. This restaurant is located within the Shoreline Village of Long Beach, which offers gorgeous views of the Rainbow Harbor + Queen Mary. Cocktails are meh but I guess I should've stuck to the taps anyway, so that's on me. Happy hour is worth trying at least once. We ordered two poke nachos but oddly one had way less toppings than the other. Regardless it was really good. The ahi tuna sashimi was way too salty for my taste so I'd skip that. The boneless wings were pretty basic, no complaints there though. The carnivore pizza also was pretty mid but it got the job done. Overall, it's a great place for a quick meal and a beer but don't expect anything to stand out.
